'You can't stop the bangs but you can help them be quiet.' Sula and Amma go round to Bing's house to watch the fireworks. Sula doesn't like the bangs so she is wearing her earmuffs but Bing thinks he is brave enough to watch the fireworks outside in the garden. Suddenly there is a huge bang and a super-loud rocket sends Bing racing back inside and under the kitchen table in shock. Flop makes Bing an unconventional pair of earmuffs of his own so that he can enjoy the fireworks without the bangs.
'If you break a special thing, you can put it in the Bye Bye Box and it keeps it safe so you don't ever forget.' Bing plays with a new orange balloon but when he bounces on it too enthusiastically, it pops. Bing is sad to lose his new toy, so Flop helps him put the balloon fragments in the Bye Bye Box, a memory box where things too broken to be fixed but too special to throw away are kept.
'Even if it's your turn, you can't run in front of a swing.' Flop is pushing Bing on the swing in the park when Pando arrives and wants to have a go too. They agree to let each other have turns by counting up to ten, but when Pando has his turn he won't count properly. Bing gets so cross he runs in front of the swing and gets bumped.
'I did like my tower but it was more fun making a rainbow tower with Coco!' Bing is busy building a tower as tall as he is with his blocks, and is upset when Coco arrives and hijacks the blocks so that she can make a rainbow pattern with them instead. When even Charlie wants to play with the blocks, it is clear a new game needs to be found so that they can all play together.
'If you're very quiet, and statue-still, then the duckies will come.' Bing and Sula go to the park to feed the ducks. Sula is very good at standing quietly and giving the ducks just the right amount of food. Bing throws all his duck food into the water in one go and gets more than he bargained for when a big flappy goose comes to gobble it all up.
'You can mix things up but you can't mix them down again.' It's snack time for Bing but the only banana left is too mushy to eat. Flop suggests making a smoothie with it instead. Disaster strikes when Bing's carrot accidentally gets put into the blender as well and, when it gets shredded, Bing is upset to discover that his carrot has changed and that he can't have it back.
'In my house I've got a bed and a blankie but that's coz I'm not a frog and they like different things to me.' Bing finds a frog in the garden and wants to keep it, so he and Sula make the frog a 'house' in a bucket. But Froggy doesn't like her new home and hops out. Maybe they've not thought enough about what Froggy really needs in her home.
'If a baby can't play your game you have to find a baby game you can all play.' Bing wants to play his car park game with Flop, but Charlie is visiting and keeps messing up the game. Bing wants Charlie to go away so Flop takes Charlie to the kitchen. Bing doesn't enjoy his game on his own and finds out that some games are better played together.
'Your shadow stays with you wherever you are, but if the light can not see you then your shadow can't come out to play.' Bing is playing in the garden when he sees his shadow, Flop has one too. Flop and Bing play shadow tag, taking it in turns to be 'It' but just as Bing is about to have a turn a raincloud covers the sun and the shadows disappear. Flop persuades Bing to go inside, out of the rain, but Bing is upset that his shadow is getting wet in the garden. With the aid of a torch Flop shows Bing that shadows never go far from their owners.
'You can't always win, just because you choose the game.' Bing is at Amma's creche and it is his turn to choose the game, Musical Statues. Flop gets the Bingpad going and soon all the children are dancing like crazy. Sula goes out first, quickly followed by Coco who both watch for wobblers with Amma. In the final round Bing wobbles just at the last moment and Pando wins much to Bing's distress - he chose the game so he thought he should win it. Fortunately Charlie never stopped dancing and his giggly jiggling gets Bing back on his feet.
'It's okay to do a clumbo, but you have to be careful what you clean up.' Bing drives his toy car around the breakfast things on the table and accidentally spills Krispo's all over the kitchen floor. He helps Flop to clear them up with the aid of the 'voo-voo cleaner' but neither of them notice when Bing's car gets sucked up along with the Krispo's.
'If you're scared of doing something, you can watch someone else do it. And if they like it, you might like it too'. Bing and Pando discover a new climbing frame at the playground. It has climbing bits, tippy bits and even a wobbly bridge. But when Bing gets to the top of the slide it's too scary for him to go down. Bing watches Pando to see how he does it, then he helps Hoppity Voosh to go down. When Hoppity likes it, Bing has a go too.
'You can't grow down, you can only grow up'. Coco and Charlie are playing at Bing's house when Coco spots the measuring lines on the wall that show how Bing has grown. Flop measures Bing and he's bigger than the last time. When Bing can't reach his paper aeroplane, Coco offers to measure him again to check if he's really grown but they don't quite get the measuring ritual right and the new mark is much lower than before. Bing gets scared that he's growing down and that if he keeps going he'll be as small as Charlie.
'You've got to keep your snotty bobbles to yourself. And I can play with Sula when I'm better'. As Bing gets ready to go to Sula's house, he feels sneezy and hot so Flop decides that Bing needs to stay at home and keep his germs to himself. Even though Bing is soon tucked up on the sofa with a hot honey and lemon drink, he's very disappointed that he can't play with Sula. But Sula and Amma bring him a carroty bagel to wish him a speedy recovery.
'You need to pee-pee before you play, or... stop the game and do it. So you're all dry when you're finded again'. Bing plays hide and seek at the crèche with Sula, Pando and Coco. He didn't go to the toilet with all the others before the game started and now he has to decide whether to give up his hiding place or try and hold on.
'If you burn your bunny biscuits you can't eat them, but they can be your ginger bunny buddies instead'. Bing and Flop are making ginger bunny biscuits for Charlie and Coco. But when Charlie and Coco arrive Charlie's done a mega poo and in all the fuss cleaning him up nobody hears the chickie timer ring to tell them that the biscuits are cooked.
'If your toy goes CRASH into tiny little pieces then it might go back into something else'. Bing and Pando experiment with Bing's toy train on the Fun Fort in the playground. The train is good at going over bridges and brilliant at going down the slide. But when Bing slides it off the roof of the play house, the train crashes and breaks. Bing is upset until he realises that the pieces fit together to make something completely different.
'Even if you turn a good-bye into a bad-bye, you can change it back to a good-bye again'. Bing and Sula are having so much fun playing together they don't want to say goodbye when Amma arrives to pick Sula up. To delay her departure Bing hides Sula's sparkly shoe in the toilet and it gets soaking wet much to Sula's annoyance. It looks as though Sula will have to hop home until Bing finds a way to turn the bad-bye back into a good-bye again.
'When you lose something, don't worry, you have to focus and remember where you went so you can find it again'. Bing takes his Hoppity Voosh toy to the park to see the ducks and play on the slide. But when he steps in dog poo and heads to Amma's house to get cleaned up he leaves Hoppity behind. Amma helps Bing to focus so that he can remember where he went and retrace his steps to find Hoppity.
'It's nice to match your friends, but if you don't want your things to get mixed up you can make them a bit different.' Bing has a brand new Hoppity Voosh lunch box, and Pando has the exact same one - match! At first it's fun to match, but things turn sour when Bing and Pando mix their lunch boxes up and end up with the wrong lunch.
'Coco decides that Bing's house made of sofa cushions is perfect for a game of big bad wolf'. Bing builds a house out of the sofa cushions, and Coco decides it's the perfect starting point for a game of big bad wolf with Sula and Charlie. Bing enjoys being wolfie until he's not allowed into the house he built, at which point the game quickly loses its appeal.
'Before Bing and Flop can eat their ice lollies, a frog hops into Bing's paddling pool'. Bing and Flop buy ice lolllies on a hot day, but are called into action when a frog hops into the paddling pool and needs rescuing. When the pair return from their mission all that is left of their treats are sticks and goo.
'The bunny gets stuck in Padegt's shop while playing a game of hide and seek with Flop'. Bing and Flop play hide-and-seek on the way to Padget's shop. Bing does not want the game to end and he hides behind the door to the stock room, where Flop really cannot see him. When the door slams, Bing is stuck inside.
'Bing and Flop build a sandcastle, and Pando joins them in the sandpit with his wind-up digger toy to help'. Bing finds a lovely 'poiky thing' in the sand and thinks it will make the perfect decoration for the top of his castle - not realising it belongs to Pando's digger.
Sula’s cousin Nicky is visiting, something Bing is a little unsure about. Sula and Bing start making 'rippy pictures', and while Sula is looking for some purple paper Bing shows Nicky how to voosh the blue speedy car down the slide. However, Nicky vooshes too, falling and breaking his glasses! Sula is furious and Bing is forlorn. Amma soothes Bing while Nicky shows him that he can click his glasses back together again.
Bing, Sula, Pando, Coco and Charlie have all dressed up for Halloween! Bing tries to surprise Charlie by wearing his Biteysaurus mask, but it works too well and scares Charlie so much that he cries. Bing thinks that Charlie does not like him anymore, but Flop helps Bing to understand that Charlie thinks Biteysaurus is real. Bing shows Charlie that Biteysaurus has not eaten Bing - he is Bing!
Sula and Amma surprise Bing to show him Sula's sparkly painted butterfly face. Bing also wants a painted face, one that looks like Biteysaurus, and Sula says she can do it for him. Sula begins smothering his face in Bitey's signature green, but when she accidentally adds purple spots, Bing is horrified! He wants Sula to go home. But then Flop adds some teeth to Bing's Biteysaurus, so he can really be Bitey.
It's vaccination day! Bing knows it might hurt a little but he is looking forward to the special shiny Hoppity Voosh sticker he will get from Doctor Molly. Bing is brave, but when he goes to get his sticker after his vaccination, he finds out that there are none left! Bing is upset- but then Pando mistakes Bing's disappointment for pain, and Doctor Bing has to help.
Bing and his friends are making leaf pictures in the woods. They take a piece of paper, place it on a leaf and rub a crayon onto it. They each choose their own leaf, but Bing's is whisked away by the wind! Luckily, he manages to catch it by stamping on it. When the wind also whisks Coco's picture off the table, Bing tries to catch it but once again ends up stamping on it. Now Coco is angry!
Bing is waiting to sit in the fire engine at the park. Pando and Sula both get a turn, but when it is Bing's go there is an emergency and the fire engine has to leave! Flop, Amma, Sula and Bing walk to Bing's house for carroty bagels and Bing's 'Fabulous Fire Engine Facts' book. But outside the neighbour's house is the fire engine! Arlo is stuck on the roof, and Bing has to help him get down.
Bing and Coco are drawing Gilly a picture. When she and Popsie arrive, Bing goes to say hello, but while he does so Charlie makes a big squiggle on Bing's drawing! Gilly shows them a game called 'squiggling'. You draw a squiggle, and then your partner turns that squiggle into a new drawing. Bing loves this game and turns Charlie's squiggle into Popsie.
Bing and Nicky are sleeping over at Sula's house, but Bing has forgotten Hoppity! The wind causes a branch to make a scratchy noise that terrifies Bing, who isn't very comforted by Sula's fairy rhino. Amma phones Flop, while Sula, Nicky and Bing play 'Nicky tickles' as they wait. Flop arrives, bringing his sleeping bag and Hoppity so they can all sleep over.
Bing and Sula are painting in the garden. When Bing cleans his brush and accidentally knocks the water over, he goes to fill it up from the garden tap. But he turns the water on too fast, making the hose voosh up into a big snake of water that covers Bing and Sula in wet paint! Flop shows Bing how to turn the tap on slowly.
It's Bing's third birthday! Bing shows Sula, Pando and Coco how to do the waka-oke. But when Pando doesn't do it properly, a frustrated Bing hides under his blankey. Flop gently helps Bing to understand that Pando likes to do things differently to him. They celebrate Bing's birthday under his blankey, before Amma, Coco and Charlie bring in pass-the-parcel.
Sula, Pando and Bing discover a bird's nest while making a playhouse in the shed. They try to find the bird by being super quiet, and she flies into their playhouse. When Bing goes in to look for her, she flies out again; they can't both be in the playhouse at the same time. So Bing decides to give the shed to her until her chicks have all grown up.
Sula and Bing are camping in Bing's garden in order to see the stars and the moon. As Flop goes back for Hoppity, night-time noises seep from the dark garden, spooking Bing. Then, a scary shape on the tent terrifies him. They go inside, but the monster has followed them in! Bing and Sula discover that Flop is the monster. So they go back outside, where the billion, zillion stars and a huge moon are waiting for them.
Bing, Pando, Flop and Padget are waiting for the bus to the seaside! Bing's frustrations grow when Pando jumps on first to 'bloop' his ticket, pushes Bing's hand to 'bloop' his too and sits in the window seat first. To make matters worse, the bus breaks down, making Bing very disappointed! But the bus driver lets Bing sit in the driver's seat, beep the horn and use her special driver's ticket activation card!
Coco is showing Bing how magnets work. While Coco builds a tower, Bing wants to find more magnetic things. In the garden he tests the ball, table and key, announcing which are magnetic. When Bing tries the watering can, he accidentally drops the magnet behind the flowerbed! Neither Bing nor Coco can reach it, so Flop shows them how to fish with magnets.
While looking for things to sell in their shop, Bing and Sula find their old friend Mr Rainybow - but his head is completely gone! So they decide to sell him, and after a nice lady buys his stacky bit for her toilet rolls, they look for some more things to sell. But then they find Mr Rainybow's head and are sad that they can't get the rest of him back. However, Charlie loves to knock down Mr Rainybow's rings!
Pando is teaching Bing and Sula how to do little kicks and big kicks with a ball in the garden. Sula does the biggest kick of them all, but Bing kicks the ball the wrong way. As he tries to kick it back to Pando it bounces off the shed, breaking Flop's window! They have to stand statue-still while Flop cleans up the glass.
Bing has broken his arm and is struggling to do his usual activities. Petting Arlo hurts, playing with blocks hurts, and even drinking juice hurts. But when Bing and Sula draw together it doesn't hurt, and so he forgets about his arm and does a big, painful 'hoppity voosh'! Amma gently explains to Bing, Sula and Flop that when she broke her arm, she learnt that sometimes you have to ask for help.
Bing and Sula are performing a puppet show for Flop, Amma and Pando when Coco and Charlie arrive. Coco wants to join in with her Rainbow Fairy Mice. Sula tells a frustrated Bing that you have to be loud when you do a show. But Bing is a little too loud, and when Coco joins the show, Bing's loud Biteysaurus isn't welcome, as he is hurting Sula’s ears!
Bing is teaching Charlie how to throw, but when he throws the ball in the lounge it knocks the fruit over! Bing starts to explain, but Charlie interrupts, leaving Flop to believe Charlie did it. Bing happily shows Charlie how to voosh Squeaky instead, but it flies out of his hands and hits Flop's tray of snacks! After some encouragement, Bing tells Flop the truth and apologises.
Bing, Hoppity, his friends and their toys are playing superheroes in the park. When Bing and Hoppity rescue Flop from the giant spider, Bing falls off the climbing rope. He is alright, but Hoppity has had an accident: his bottom is broken! Sula, Pando and Flop help an upset Bing rescue Hoppity and then take him to Amma's, where she can sew him back together.
Bing and Coco want to read Charlie a story. Bing wants to read 'Biteysaurus's Big Book of Dinosaurs', and Coco wants to read The Rainbow Fairy Mice and the Disappointed Dragon. Bing's book is first, but when Coco tries to bring the Rainbow Fairy Mice into the story, Bing is frustrated – that's not how it goes! But Flop shows Bing how they can combine the two tales together.
Bing and Sula are planting seeds at Amma's when Coco arrives with her new skipping rope. Coco teaches them how to skip, with Sula picking it up quicker than Bing. Just when Bing thinks he has succeeded, he hurts his leg on the watering can! Bing can't understand why he is not as good as Sula, but Coco shows Bing that, with some help, he can learn to skip too!
Bing and Sula are building a stone tower in the Howly Woods when Sula finds an ammonite. Bing wants to find one too but is overwhelmed by the amount of stones, which makes it very difficult to find one. A frustrated Bing sits down, and Sula notices some ammonites in the rock behind him. Flop takes a picture of Bing and Sula with their ammonites.
It's Christmas Day, and everybody is celebrating at Bing's house. They all gather round to open their presents - Sula loves the painted orange from Bing, and Flop loves his picture. Bing himself finally opens his Hoppity Voosh Rocket Sledge - but there's no snow! Bing decides to wait for the snow to come, but it doesn't show up. But when it's time for Christmas lunch, and there isn't a chair for Bing, Flop suggests using his sledge instead.
The snow is finally here, and Bing can't wait to try his new Hoppity Voosh Rocket Sledge! Sula, Nicky and Bing put on their boots, coats and gloves to stay warm. But the garden is flat, so the sledge can't voosh very fast. Bing takes his gloves off to help make a snowman, but his hands quickly start to hurt, so he has to go inside. When it's time go to Windy Hill to voosh on the sledge, Bing doesn't want to go outside because his hands will hurt again!
