At Lachlan Farm, the family are awaiting District Nurse Kay Grant who has been delayed by Alan. The stranger from the bus, Ken Calder, has found Fiona repairing her car. He takes over and Fiona offers a can of beer but he reacts violently.
Ken admits he's an alcoholic. Amy has had a boy, Donald. Fiona gets Jimmy's help with supplies for Ken. Elizabeth is worried that Langeman wants to turn Glendarroch into a private estate. Jimmy overhears some home truths about his father.
Dougal is devastated by Amy's death. Kay demands improvements for the crofts. Ken gets a friendly visit from Duff's garage about competition. Langeman tells McIntyre his plans. Isabel gets a visit from David, her brother in law.
Elizabeth books her car in for a service to boost patronage of the garage. At the sawmill McIntyre sees surveyors on Laird's Point but Langeman denies any knowledge of their activities.
David explains why Brian is in prison for murder as Ken clears the graffiti from the garage. The village turns out for Amy's funeral. McIntyre turns down Langeman's offer. Bob has seen David with the surveyors by the loch side.
A reporter is investigating rumours that the estate is to be turned into a holiday centre. Semple reports that wood is going missing from the sawmill. McIntyre and Nurse Grant are having relationship problems.
Grace has contacted Amy's sister to ask for help with the new baby. Duff offers to buy out Ken but Maggie shows support by having her bus serviced. McIntyre argues with Dougal about his indifferent attitude to the croft.
Maggie complains her bus has not been service overnight. Elizabeth asks Fiona about her future career and contact her father Peter for help. Alice turns up at Blair's Store looking to get a lift from Dougal to Ardvain.

Maxwell wants to interview Elizabeth about the big house. Dougal has stayed out all night but McIntyre knows where to find him. Ken thinks he has blown his interview about the fuel franchise. Archie thinks David Blair knows about his past.
Archie is acting strangely and David Blair announces his plans to get his brother free from prison earlier. Alan reveals a secret about himself that will change everything.
Fiona is run down after arguing with her mother so plans a trip to Edinburgh. Jimmy confronts David and warns him about bothering his mother further. Archie continues to avoid doing work.
Langemann announces that he doesn't plan to knock Glendarroch down. Business starts to look positive for Ken and there is a suspected thief in the village.
Alan goes to visit Andy Semple about the recent theft. Ken continues to get the business up and running but still awaits payment from Maggie. Elizabeth meets an architect about the renovations.
Dougal is showing little improvement so Alun confronts him. David asks Maggie about what exactly she remembers about the girl who was murdered in the village as he believes his brother is innocent.
Alan tries to figure out what to do with the problem with Andy. Dougal invites Alice to move in. Fiona returns from her trip and Alan goes to help John investigate the missing sheep.

Jimmy and Fiona's office is being delivered tomorrow. Paul Cassell meets Elizabeth in Blair's Store but his dinner invite fails. Kay gives Alice some advice for her future. Sorry Watson arrives to launch the water sports venture.
Dr Wallace gets Dougal to visit Grace. Sorry suggests car stickers to advertise the water sports venture. Fiona borrows a typewriter from the estate for their office. David intends to get heavy with any protesters.

Maggie arrives with a busload of Countryside Action Group Protestors on her bus. Brian asks David about his family. Peter arrives from Edinburgh and says the leasehold contracts are unbreakable. Kay has been offered a job at the Western.
Jimmy is distracted at the party by the attention Fiona is given. Alan has to make a decision before it’s too late. Jimmy shares his worries with Fiona about the new clientele.
Paul continues to try and romance Elizabeth with the offer of a trip to Edinburgh. Dougal gets an update on his mother’s health. Kay hands in her resignation to return to Glasgow.

A visitor from Alice’s past arrives unexpectedly. Alan starts his plans for leaving Glendarroch to be with his wife. The knives are out in the battle between Elizabeth and Miss Steedman for Home Farm.
Maggie is spreading gossip about Alan’s departure down at the Blair’s Store. Elizabeth continues to battle with Miss Steedman. David Blair clears up some of Maggie’s rumours to Elizabeth.
Maggie tells Brian exactly how she feels about him. Elizabeth checks in on Grace and informs Miss Steedman of her appointment in Frankfurt. Brian tells Isabel his reasons for his past behaviour.
Archie believes Mrs Cunningham has too much on her plate. Isabel is struck down with the cold leaving Brian to take care of the shop. David finds Elizabeth walking home after her car breaks down.
The Strathmorris’s make a visit to the Cunningham house to see Elizabeth. Det Sgt McLean comes to question Brian over the recent attack on a young women. Hamish informs Dougal of their problem.
Isabel talks to Brian about the police visit and gives him some advice. Grace encourages Alice to get on with her life. Kirsty believes she has found the culprit of the recent sheep deaths.
Brian’s mind is put at ease as the police reveal who the attacker was. Miss Steedman continues to badger Lorna for company files. David and Kirsty catch the culprit in the act.
Bob is attacked and bitten by two dogs that are quickly chased of by the guard dogs. Brian and Isabel talk about David's leave from his family. A prowler is spotted hanging around Blair’s Store.
The Strathmorris's are confronted by Elizabeth and Miss Steedman about their recent actions. Dougal and Hamish come across another victim of the wild dogs. Ken warns Brian about the prowler.
The prowler is revealed as an old acquaintance of Brian's. Dougal has to deliver the bad news to Mrs Armstrong. Miss Steedman finds out a little more about her future.
Brian and Ken hatch a plan in order to be rid of the unwanted guest at the Blair household. Miss Steedman has become very cynical after her recent discoveries. Mrs Armstrong has gone missing.
Dougal feels responsible for the recent death of Mrs Armstrong. Grace continues to encourage Alice to get on with her life. Brian tries to find out what happened between Ken and Malky.
Lorna goes to the Blair's Store to try and find out Ken's whereabouts. David and Kirsty continue to spend time together. Alice is upset after having words with Grace.

Alice finds it hard to relax with the guests. David's wife Helen arrives in Glendarroch and has a few questions for him. Fiona and Jimmy try to drum up some franchise business.
Archie is still finding it hard to track down Maggie with his winnings. Maggie is hiding out at the water sports head quarters where Sorry puts her in her place. Morag pays a visit to Dougal.
Archie feels bitter towards Maggie after she failed to put on his bet. Sorry tries to make up to Archie for Maggie's carelessness. Jimmy and Fiona try to meet with Mr Lambert before Sorry.

Herr Meier and Elizabeth continue their meeting to discuss the estate's future. Brian manages to get himself an interview for a job at the saw mill. Douglas introduces himself around Glendarroch.
Herr Meier and Douglas have a brief meeting. Fiona continues to be unhappy with Jimmy's relationship with Alison and makes it known. Fiona finds out the outcome of the franchise deal.
After missing the Lachlan's previously Douglas makes a morning visit. Glendarroch Water Sports are preparing to open for business. Maggie helps her self to a look at private files while Lorna is busy.
Bob and Alice see the minister about their wedding. Douglas tells Elizabeth that he is giving Brian the job. Grace tells Dougal that Donald will have to live with Alice. Lorna admits to having feelings for Ken.
A water skier falls off and wants to claim against the ski centre. Alice asks Dougal to give her away at her wedding. Elizabeth suspect Meier of wanting to buy IEF by selling off Glendarroch.
Fiona is adamant about not going to her father's wedding. Dougal orders new fence posts from Brian who asks about the situation with Donald. Dougal tells Grace and Alice that Donald must stay at the croft.
Maggie causes trouble at the aqua sports centre. Douglas tells David about problems with the workers at Laird's point. Bob tells Alice that it would be years before considering having a family.
David gets abuse from Maggie about the site traffic. Elizabeth beats Meier at a clay pigeon shoot. Dougal announces that Donald will have to go with Alice.
Heir Meir has stated his terms with regards to the estate so Mrs Cunningham needs to learn a thing or two. Maggie continues to dispute with other drivers on the road.

A stranger from the south comes to Glendarroch looking for Maggie and Isobel is finding the feuds between Brian and David difficult to take.

The factor calls a meeting to discuss the problem of traffic speeding through the village after a child is knocked down. Douglas speaks to Lorna about her relationship towards David.

Dougal is worried about Bob and Mr Dunbar assures him he will do all he can for him. Bob and Alice clear the air and discuss what they might have to do if Bob loses his job.
Dougal is furious when Herr Rheinhardt shoots a stag out of season, forcing him to put it out of its misery. However, when Rheinhardt gets lost in the hills, he is the one looking for answers.
Dougal has to put down the wounded stag that is wounded while on the deer hunt. Bob still anxiously awaits the news about his future. Herr Meier has some bad news as a result of the hunting trip.
Brian meets Helen as she arrives in Glendarroch to try and talk things through. Dougal shares his plans with Alice as to what he will do with baby Donald if her and Bob need to leave Glendarroch.
Alice is upset at the prospect of having to leave Glendarroch but it is short lived when Bob shares the good news. Brian tries to rekindle his relationship with Helen and shares bad news with Isabel.
Jimmy and Fiona think the business is doing well enough that they don't need to rely on the franchise during the winter months, which comes as a disappointment to Mr. Watson.
Concerns are high in Glendarroch, Jimmy worries about his father not being able to get over his job while Mrs. Cunningham prepares herself for Hogg's return and Isabel hears of a surprise nomination.
Brian is convinced that a one time Glendarroch resident has returned much sooner than expected and Fiona announces her future plans to Jimmy who fails to see her point of view.
Grace reminisces with Robert Forsyth when he calls to look at an ewe. Lorna asks Douglas about taking in a lodger.
Hogg is back with more power. Dougal is trying to get Morag to buy a new tractor. Fiona walks out on the aqua-sports business.
Geddes is not impressed with Fiona when she visits his farm. Hogg inspects the books at Blair's Store. Brian suspects he is planning to raise the rents. Ken tells Mrs Mack he is moving in with Lorna.
Andy Semple is interviewed about the break-in at Blair's Store. Jackie turns up unexpectedly to see Douglas. Alice eventually tells Bob she might be pregnant.
Mrs Cunningham's investigation into keeping the horses in Glendarroch seems to be proving in her favour meanwhile Bob shares his delight in finding out he's going to become a father.
Mrs Mack continues to gossip about Lorna and Ken and Mr Hogg approaches the Lachlans about Glendarroch Estate. Mr Dunbar finds out the real reason behind Jacqui's visit.
Alice finally has a doctor's check to confirm whether she is pregnant or not. Glendarroch are preparing themselves for the games day and Jimmy is irritated by Eddie.
It's Games Day in Glendarroch. The entire village attends the event including Andy Semple who leaves to pay Isabel a visit at the shop and there is an unfortunate incident regarding the prize money.
An investigation takes place into the theft of the prize money at the games. Alice anxiously awaits the news from the doctor and Jimmy's jealousy starts to show.
Jimmy is shocked to find Kate has turned up in Glendarroch when he is finishing up in the office. Alice experiences pains, leaving Bob in a panic.
An act of vandalism to Brian Blair's car tyres infuriates him and he immediately names the culprit as Andy Semple. Hogg, being his usual cold hearted self, insists rent increase notices are sent out.
Mrs Cunningham calls a meeting regarding rent increases. Bob is concerned about Alice's pains so early in the pregnancy and Fiona's original plans to get money together have fallen through.
Jimmy isn't sure how to handle the situation with Kate so continues to let her sleep on the floor of the office. Mrs. Lachlan is concerned for Alice and the pains she experienced.
Isabel informs Kate's parents of her whereabouts. The residents of Glendarroch attend Mrs Cunningham's called meeting which brings a negative response.
Alice is in a lot of pain resulting in both her and Bob fearing the worst when she is taken to hospital. Mr Hogg surprises Mrs Cunningham and Mr Dunbar with an unexpected gesture.
It's bad news for Alice & Bob when Alice is taken in for surgery. Isabel is becoming a popular member of the committee being nominated for various positions. Kate takes a walk to meet Eddie Ramsey.
Grace tells Morag about Alice. Mr Hogg does his rounds before leaving. Isabel tells Elizabeth about the unrest felt by the villagers over the rent rises.
Fiona has been turned down for a bank loan. Elizabeth tells Douglas to send out the rent rise letters. Lorna and Ken move into the cottage watched by Mrs Mack. Peter tells Isabel about Kate and Eddie seeing each other.
Inverdarroch asks Brian for help but not Eddie. Fiona asks Kate to help at the stables, and she notices that Geddes is always near the tack room. Carradine explains the legal position on the rent rises and Fiona's inheritance.
Mr McPherson, the minister tells Elizabeth he thinks the villagers feel betrayed, but she refuses to back down. Dr Wallace tells Grace that Alice is having a hard time in hospital. Jamie Stewart sells his tractor to Dougal for £400.
Grace agrees to go to dinner with the vet, Robert Forsyth. Morag delivers the tractor to Dougal who tries to back down on the engagement plan. Geddes finds Kate and Eddie at the stables.
Uncle William sees Fiona about the advance on her grandmother's inheritance. Lorna is suffering from the gossip about her and Ken. Geddes breaks up a fight between Jimmy and Eddie. Alice returns to Ardvain.
Alice wants to go back to her own home. Mr Murdoch invites Mrs Mack round for supper, but she has to look after displaced families as the big storm breaks. Geddes tells Fiona he will look after the horses, but she stays on.
The village rallies round during the storm. Eddie's father is trapped under a tree, Brian and Jimmy go to the rescue. Jimmy uses the ferry to get the doctor from Auchtarne.
Eddie runs of after having words with his father. The storm finally breaks leaving the people of Glendarroch to start repairing the damage caused.
Eddie has stolen the doctor's bag, brian wants to give him another chance - until he finds out it was Eddie who broke into his shop.
Isabel has gone to visit Helen and David leaving Jimmy and Brian to run the shop. Jimmy and Brian talk about Eddie’s crime spree. Archie doesn’t like the work that has been created by the storm.
Elizabeth informs Fiona of her decision. Alex wants to tell Elizabeth about his relationship with her daughter. Dougal is being encouraged to take Morag to the pictures.
Archie finds Lorna in tears over a letter she has received. Kate fishes for information from her uncle and discuses what had happened with Eddie. Archie informs Ken about the letter.
Dougal has an argument with Alice about how ungrateful she is, and says she can go to the cottage, but will not be taking Donald with her.
Ken is seen in the pub by Elizabeth, he is drinking what appears to be orange juice. Mr Geddes invites Fiona into his home as they are keeping a relationship secret.
Ken makes a drunken scene in the pub and gets taken home by Jimmy and Brian. He shoves Lorna, then breaks down back at the house. Alice moves to the cottage, just as Dougal's dog dies.
Morag is talking to Dougal about getting married, he seems nervous, but she wants him to start showing her more attention, so she is making herself less available.
An architect has arrived in Glendarroch and is planning to build a house. Isabel is losing money at the shop. Dougal is in no hurry to marry Morag, but is threatened by a new arrival.
Isabel confronts Elizabeth about the holiday village, as she would lose her business to the new proposal, and is surprised to learn she knows little about it. Bob is worried about Alice .
Alex and Fiona are arguing about having to hide their relationship. people are gossiping about the holiday village. Alice and Bob have an argument about the house and Donald, and Bob hits her.
Elizabeth recieves a dog as a gift with a letter. Grace gets a health check and gets told to take it easy. Fiona confides in Jimmy about Alec.
Jimmy is frustrated that his parents treat him like a child. Inverdarroch seems to be flirting with Morag. More traps are found on the estate.
Douglas wants to postpone his leaving until the holiday village affair is settled, although Jackie has no intention of changing the wedding plans to allow this.
Elizabeth tries to find a way to halt plans for the village. Dougal is offended when Mr Murdoch says his dog Tav cannot be trained. Some members of the board agree to the pipe.
Bob and Alice are still arguing, she accused him of having an affair with Jean. Strathmorris told Elizabeth she will be removed from her position if she opposes the plans.
Eddie comes back for a visit, and is disgusted to find his father fraser in the woods laying traps. Douglas is inviting people to his leaving party. Mrs Mack tells Elizabeth about Fiona and Alec.
Jean is going to tell the doctor about the problems Alice is having. Elizabeth confronts Fiona about her relationship with Alex, and she admits they are together and have an argument.
Archie buried some items on the building site in the hope it would delay building plans, but it didn't work. Alex storms in to see Elizabeth after she upsets Fiona.
Morag's father has changed his opinion on Inverdarroch. Eddie is collecting all the traps his father set and springing them. Bob is breaking down as the arguments with Alice are constant.
Frank is annoyed Jimmy is seeing Sheila and tells him to stay away from her. Bob has been neglecting his work as he and Alice are still arguing. Frank pushes himself on Sheila and she runs away.
Eddie is going back to Shetland. Dougal threatens Eddie's father over the traps. Fiona is moving into Home Farm with Geddes. Mrs Mack inadvertently gives a list of the clear up team to the two strangers.
The Community Council votes to take no action against the Holiday Village. Ken turns up to give Mrs Mack and Mr Murdoch a lift to Douglas's farewell do. A News Report says that the Meyer Corporation has gone bust.
Alice is convinced Bob and Jean left the party together and speaking to Mrs Mack does not improve anything. The two strangers are from the DHSS and question Brian as foreman about the repairs and payment of the workforce.
Brian refuses to co-operate with the DHSS but Peter Craig thinks he informed on him. Lorna is worrying about her daughter's arrival. Dr Wallace asks Jean about Alice's allegations. Alice later confronts Jean in Blair's Store.
Mrs Mack meets Lorna and Marion coming from the ferry and later talks to the Minister about sin in the village. After tea Marion asks Ken if he is sleeping with her mother. Strathmorris has organised a board meeting.
Dr Wallace wants Alice to see a psychiatrist. Jimmy tells Peter to look elsewhere for the source of the names and he later discovers it was Mrs Mack that passed them on. The Bank has appointed a liquidator for the estate.
Sheila thinks she is pregnant and makes an appointment with Dr Wallace. Mr Thomson from the DHSS has been out on the loch all night. Jimmy and Brian organise a search for him. The Minister talks to Alice.
Elizabeth believes her time is almost up at the estate as it is in liquidation, so she tells Mr Thomson that everyone who worked on the repairs were employed by the estate. Sheila is pregnant.
Isabel speaks to Alice about losing her baby and Brian having an affair. Bob and Alice work toward a reconciliation.
Elizabeth's lawyer tells her that the estate now belongs to her, and not the company as it had never been sold in the first place. Everyone wants Donald to go back and live with Alice and Bob.
Lorna is Elizabeth's new assistant. She tells Mr Morrison that she doesn't want the holiday village to go ahead now she is the boss. Sheila's dad confronts Jimmy in front of his parents.
Jimmy denies he is the father of Sheila's baby. Dougal wants to start deer farming. Archie is taking bets on the dog race, and Mr Murdoch isn't happy. Maggie Ferguson arrives off the ferry.
Maggie tells Isabel that Sorry Watson is here to buy the estate because that's what Elizabeth wants. Alice apologises to Jean. Bob gets given more responsibility on the estate.
Dougal is worried about his dog as she has gone missing and is in heat. Alex wants to marry Fiona, but she isn't sure. Mrs Mack speaks to Isabel about Sheila, and speculates as to who the father is.
Isabel lets it slip to Mrs Mack that Jimmy may be the father. Alex's housekeeper causes trouble with Fiona. Mrs Mack warns Lorna that Marion is in moral danger in being friends with Jimmy.
Grace has gone to stay with a relative to recover. Marion is leaving her mother early and won't say why.
Inverdarroch is uncomfortable when he visits Dougal and finds Morag alone. Mr Watson tells Mr Murdoch he's not bought the estate. A sheepdog trial is being organised. Fiona moves back home.
Sheila will have the baby and her father threatens to bring a paternity case against Jimmy, although it seems he is definitely not the father. Eddie appears again.
Alice tells Morag to stop looking after Dougal and that might make him propose. Jimmy is thinking of giving up the business. Eddie admits that he might be the father of the baby.
Sheila is still saying that Jimmy is the father, even though Eddie is sure he is. Fiona wants to leave Glendarroch. Elizabeth tells Alex she wants him off his farm.
Lorna tells Marion she had a nervous breakdown and that's why she was taken away from her. Fiona goes to see Alex at the farm and sees him together with the housekeepeer.
Mrs Cunningham expresses concern for Fiona's recovery. Alice begins to come to terms with the fact that she'll never have a child of her own and Marion gives Ken a few words of advice.
Jimmy and Marion make a disturbing discovery in the Loch. Sheila apologises to Isabel and ends up confiding in her how she feels about being pregnant and Morag puts Dougal in his place.
Mrs Lachlan teachers Dougal a lesson because of the way he takes advantage of herself a Morag, and Marion is finding it difficult dealing with the find on the Loch.
Dougal continues to disrespect Morag and has been left to his own devices by his mother, and Mrs Lachlan works on plans to get him to apologise to Morag.
Sheila tells Jimmy that she doesn't want to be tied to Eddie Ramsey. Archie learns that the advertisement he wrote for Dougal has in fact been posted and Sheila's disappearance panics her parents.
Mr Campbell is causing the community concern and conflicts in opinions arise when the suggestion of having a lifeboat in Glendarroch is suggested in reflection of recent events.
Archie and Bob fret over the advertisement making it into the newspaper. Sheila's disappearance makes her mother wonder how much Jimmy knows about her whereabouts.
Word spreads about Dougal's advertisement in the paper, causing different reactions between the Glendarroch residents - mostly amusement.
Fiona feels that everyone in Glendarroch thinks she tried to kill herself and is unsure herself of what her intentions were. Jimmy brainstorms with Archie on how to raise money for the lifeboat.
Jimmy's plans to raise money are taking shape and Archie is building up the courage to tell Dougal that he was responsible for the advert in the paper.
Brian and Isabel's crash ends Isabel up in hospital and Brian ready for revenge. Mrs Mack takes advantage of Isabel's situation by electing herself to take over in the committee.
Jimmy is suspicious of Mr Conway's gestures of good will. Morag offers Effy some advice about Dougal, but just how truthful is the information she's giving her?
Brian is determined to find out who caused the road accident but Bob doesn't agree with his intentions. Fiona is still wandering around aimlessly causing Mrs Cunningham extreme concern.
Mr Campbell's deterioration encourages Glendarroch villagers to think of ways to help him. Mrs Cunningham approaches Mr Geddes about Fiona.
Brian is suspicious that Bob is keeping something from him regarding the road accident, and Isabel is well enough to be allowed home from hospital.
The sponsored swim seems to be going to plan until it's realised one participant is missing. Isabel confides in Sorry on how she felt at the time of the accident.
Sorry has some information regarding the peat work that Brian has been helping Ken with. Mr Campbell is adamant he doesn't need help and turns Mrs Mack away at the door.
Archie comes up with a new idea that'll involve the entire village. Maggie arrives back in Glendarroch to visit Isabel while she's recovering from her accident.
Brian now believes he's found the culprit behind the road accident. Lorna finally agrees to Ken's proposal and Sorry has an offer for Jimmy regarding raising money for the lifeboat.
Mr Murdoch and Mrs Mack have fallen out over who will run the concert, and Mrs Woods gives Maggie a bit of gossip but whether Maggie can keep it to herself is a question.
Tensions are high between Isabel and Brian and Brian takes this out on Jimmy. Fiona apologises to Mr Conway, who is also the subject of gossip from some of the ladies of Glendarroch.
Sorry and Isabel discuss Brian's obsession with suspecting that Bob knows something about the unknown driver and wonder if it's possible that Alice may be involved.
Isabel is worried about her friends and customers being driven away by Brian and Maggie. Meanwhile Lorna is worried about her daughter's visit to Glendarroch.
Mrs Mack and Mr Murdoch have gone from one extreme to the other and are now working together on a duet for the concert.
Rumour has it that Mrs Cunningham wants to sell Mr Campbell's cottage as announced by Peter Craig. Isabel and Jimmy can't understand why Brian won't tell them who caused the accident.
Marion feels that she will need to go with her father whether she likes it or not. Eddie accuses Jimmy of hiding things from him regarding Sheila.
Word starts to spread that Mr Campbell was found unconscious and Maggie begins to cause trouble for just one resident of Glendarroch.

Marion isn't happy about going to Saudi but is going anyway. Maggie's gossiping about Lorna has given Marion's father a wrong impression and Ken reports a theft of peat and plans to set up a watch.

A special church service is held due to the recent rumours that have been spread around Glendarroch, and Sheila's return to the village without the baby is causing concern.
Fiona returns to Glendarroch after some time away, looking and feeling better. Dougal is suspicious that there's goats at the Croft and Brian tries to aid Isabel's recovery using a different tactic.
The village concert is approaching and Archie realises he's made a mistake on the posters.
Lorna suddenly realises just how close the wedding is and speaks to Mrs Cunningham.
It's the night of the concert and Archie is nervous that things won't go well. Something from Mr Conway's past is revealed which he can never forgive himself for.
Andy Semple is up to his old tricks but involving Peter Craig. Mr Conway announces he's leaving Glendarroch but Fiona wants him to face his fears.
Archie is taking Jimmy to see a shinty match. Morag's father won't sign over the croft to her unless she marries Dougal.
Dougal wonders who is ill at the Stewart Croft when he sees Dr Wallace on his way there. Mr Sneddon phones Jimmy about picking up a passenger for the ferry. Archie wants to organise a Shinty match to raise lifeboat funds.
Grace is being 'pinged' by rain as Dougal has not repaired the roof. Eddie asks Jimmy about staying in the aqua-sports office overnight. Jimmy meets Sally Shaw and Davie Sneddon. Dougal is becoming worried about Morag's health.
Archie recruits Dougal and Inverdarroch for the Shinty team. Sneddon offers Dougal a farm manager's job on Letterfalloch by turfing out the previous tenant - Dougal turns him down. Brian is arrested over the stolen firelighters.
Sneddon offers Mrs Mack the housekeeper job at Letterfalloch but is turned down. Eddie has agreed to run Sheila to her night classes in his 'new' car. Fiona wants to transform the bookkeeping - upsetting Lorna.

Mr Carradine tells Brian he has no grounds for an appeal. Lord Strathmorris has business dealings with Letterfalloch for a new marina. Eddie tells Sorry about his feelings for his daughter.
Sally Shaw tells Jimmy about the new marina, and he later finds out that Sorry is a backer of the project. Fiona sends Archie to inspect Dougal's roof. The Rural want Morag on the team and stop work on the jerseys.
Lily is smitten and says she wants to find a cottage but would consider marrying Inverrdaroch. Morag is included on the team as substitute, Sally meets Jimmy in the aqua sports office and they kiss.
Jimmy confronts Sorry about his plans for the new marina. Eddie tells Jimmy he knows about him and Sally and warns him about the gossip that could come.
Bob and Alice plan to throw a surprise engagement party for Morag and Dougal. Jimmy's feelings for Sally are growing stronger. Mr Sneddon tells Bob his fish farm is on his land.
Dougal wrote to Elizabeth telling her she is giving up the deer farm because he is fed up with the estate. Sheila wants to stand up to her mother, and Sally and Jimmy are continuing their affair.

The minister has found a map from the 1600s that might settle the argument about land in Glendarroch. Marion is upset with Jimmy, and wants to leave Glendarroch early.
Mrs Mack finds out that Jimmy is up at Sally's house every night. Dougal practices wedding etiquette. Ken tells Brian that Jimmy is after Mrs Shaw.
The minister's map shows that Elizabeth is wrong about her boundaries. Mrs Mack tells Isobel about Jimmy and Sally.
Jimmy is staying at Sally's house for now. Jamie took the first step in transferring the lease of the croft over to Morag.
Lily doesn't realise that she has broken up Effie and Inverdarroch's relationship until Dougal tells her, and Bob and Mr Sneddon come to blows over the loch and the fish farm.
Mr Sneddon installs new locks on his fences. Eddie wants to pay for Sheila to take classes since she can't take her highers anymore.
Isobel wants Jimmy back at the house. Fiona tries to mend her relationship with Dougal about the estate fixing his roof. Fiona wants to take the fish from the loch into Glendarroch estate, Bob agrees.
Isobel asks Fiona to have a word with Jimmy about Sally. Fiona is leading the mission to recover the fish from the loch.
Fiona's father warns Fiona about her interference in the estate. Sally suggests to Jimmy that they should stop seeing each other because of what Fiona said to her.
Elizabeth and Peter talk about their feelings, and Dougal tries to convince Inverdarroch to get the key for the padlock so they can take the fish.
Mr Sneddon wants Jimmy to help keep away the group that want the fish from the loch, and Inverdarroch tries to get the key from Effie, but Mr Sneddon interrupts them.
Jimmy is annoyed nobody told him about the plan with the fish. Mr Sneddon gets Mrs Mack on his side about the mission. Peter's wife visits Elizabeth wondering where her husband is.
Sarah, Peter's wife has arrived and they reconcile their marriage difficulties. Mrs Mack proclaims herself a 'double-agent' in helping Glendarroch. Sally tries to make amends with Isabel. Morag and Grace call Dougal's bluff about the race.
It's the day of the race. Jamie collapses and Dougal asks the Minister to call the banns for his wedding. Mrs Mack tells Jock that Mrs Lamont is moving to Glasgow. Doddie is first at the finish but claims Eddie was well ahead of him.
Isabel lets slip the fishy business to the Minister and he pledges his support. Archie finds Eddie but he is lost on the hill. Alice has a plan that will allow Brian to take part without risk. Sheila decides to stay in Glendarroch.
Jimmy tells Sally he wants to marry her. Dougal wonders about Donald's situation now that he is starting school. Jock accidently kills his own cat. The raid on the Norloch begins.
Sneddon has called in the Police. Archie and Carol create a diversion in a mobile Fish 'N' Chip van. Jamie has the transfer deeds for Dougal and Grace points out to him that he'll be alone once Morag leaves.
Sneddon complains about the raid. Eddie announces that he and Sheila are to marry. Elizabeth dresses down the estate workers. Sorry offers Jimmy the running of the aqua-sports at the new marina and makes up the difference for the lifeboat.
Jimmy admits to Marion he is unhappy, but he still loves Sally, however she still hasn't told her husband about wanting a divorce. Fiona finds out that her father and Sarah are getting a divorce.
Isobel tries to stop Jimmy and Sally's plans to move, although he does return home for his last few days in Glendarroch.
Fiona tries to get Elizabeth to admit she has feelings for her father. The journalist calls his boss to explain the story he wants to get about Jimmy, Sally and Brian.
Sally agrees to talk to the reporter, but everyone is trying to trick him. Ken is annoyed that Fiona has loaned him out with the peat cutter.
Morag has called off the wedding because she doesn't want to leave her father alone. Jimmy is leaving Glendarroch to gain some life experience.
Winter has passed and few things have changed. Jimmy is still gone, and Isabel is still down about it, and Dougal wants Donald to come and live with him.
Eddie tells Sheila she can move in with him now she doesn't have a place to stay, but she is uncomfortable with that.
Dougal is still trying to get Donald back to his house and tells Alice this, and Fiona wants to replace Ken already and Lorna isn't happy.
Isabel wants Brian to take over Ken's job as peat cutter, and Brian and Lorna visit Ken and discover he is in a terrible way.
Brian takes the peat cutting job, but isn't too happy about betraying Ken, and Mr Sneddon accuses Inverdarroch of stealing from his house.
Mr Murdoch wants to change the name of the lifeboat because of Sorry Watson's behaviour.
Sheila now appears to be living with Eddie, but is uncomfortable with it as they are the target of gossip, and Mr Murdoch tells Mrs Mack she may lose her job as housekeeper.
Mrs Mack tries to butter up the Minister about his retirement. A mobile shop turns up in the village harming trade at Blair's Store. Sneddon and Peter Craig direct two poachers onto Glendarroch land.
Fiona meets Ruari Galbraith - Sorry's business advisor - and agrees to have dinner with him. Grace tells Dougal that Donald is upset about moving back to the Croft.
Mrs Mack tells Sorry that she has ideas to finance the lifeboat. Robert Forsyth tells the Minister about his replacement, Mr Parker. Fiona offers to cancel the rent on Blair's Store because of the mobile shop threat.
Dougal has a word with Donald about calling Inverdarroch names then gets a letter from the school about his behaviour. Maggie has asked Mrs Woods to keep her informed about local events. Jock asks Eddie to sell his possessions.
Lily has written a book and sent copies to the villagers. Elizabeth's cousin Bobby is to visit. Mrs Mack asks the estate for a cottage. Sorry concludes that someone running the mobile shop is trying to put Isabel out of business.
Lily's book is causing the villagers to reflect on their own lives in a new light. Mrs Mack's rumour that Sorry has gone bust sweeps the village. Dougal reports to Fiona that the deer farm has had poachers.
Brian is told to start cutting peat for Sneddon. Carol has vandalised the mobile shop. The Minister suggests that he and Mr Parker should swap one Sunday. Bob is not happy about being paired with Dougal on poacher watch.
Major Bobby Groves stocks up at Blair's Stores charging it to a new account. Inverdarroch tells Dougal there has been a new raid on the deer farm.
Brian quizzes Isabel about Major Groves account and selling alcohol on the Sabbath. Mr Parker puts Mrs Mack in her place, before condemning all the villagers in his sermon. Sorry has discovered the mobile shop is run by a publican.
Fiona wants to address the Community Council about the mobile shop. Isabel challenges Major Groves about his account without financial success. Brian meets Mr Thomson from the DHSS looking for accommodation.
The Community Council boycott the mobile shop. Bob and Dougal chase the poachers and Dougal fires a shot. The church rejects the linkage. Mr Murdoch discovers the poacher's rifle. Inverdarroch lays out Sneddon at the market.
Donald has been fighting in school. Mrs Mack is looking for support for her job. Major Groves settles his account to Brian's frustration. Dougal is arrested for attempted murder of the poacher he fired at.
Dougal has spent the weekend in jail. Mr Thompson arrives for his holiday. Bob meets the Major contemplating the climb of Ben Darroch. Elizabeth discovers that a diamond broach has been stolen.
Dougal reacts badly to his time in jail, appreciating the open countryside. Sneddon pays for his peat cutting. Mr Murdoch asks Isabel about the poachers and Bob refuses to retract his statement.
Brian has an overnight stay away peat cutting at Drumshinin. Mrs Mack tells the Minister that Mr Murdoch is acting strangely. Sergeant Murray has discovered that Major Groves pawned Elizabeth's broach but she refuses to press charges.
Mrs Mack is going away for a complete rest and arranges for her sister to cover. Fiona forces Elizabeth to tell the staff about the broach and throw Bobby out. Isabel tells Mr Thomson he does not need to move out with Brian away.
Effie clears the Dower House but the Major's cases are still there. Mr Murdoch tries to tell the Minister about the poachers but is interrupted by Mrs Mack. A search party finds the Major at the top of the Ben.
The Major died of an MI. Mr Thomson invites Isabel to a walk. Lily has returned and tells Inverdarroch to concentrate on Effie despite their letters to each other. Lily's editor mistakes Mr Thomson for Brian.
Dougal is having trouble with Donald's tantrums. Elizabeth leaves for Edinburgh and Mrs Mack goes away for Rest and Recuperation.
The Minister and Mr Forsyth enjoy a bottle of sherry at the Manse. Murdoch is still bothered by his conscience. Brian goes for a walk with Frances. Morag, Grace, Bob and Alice refuse to help with Donald's party.
Mrs Mack's sister Florence is a breath of fresh air. Mr Carradine questions Isabel about Peter Craig's statement in the shop about the poachers.
Florence stocks up on sugar, chocolate and sherry to Isabel's amazement. Dougal tells Isabel about his thoughts of going to prison. Bob thinks Inverdarroch is going to marry Effie.
Fiona goes to Glasgow to see Ruari. Peter gets short shrift about testifying from Sneddon about the poachers. Robert asks Florence to dinner at the Auchtarne.
Hamish McNeil drops off his children with Grace for Donald's party which turns into a riot when Dougal is left alone. Sneddon's niece Kathleen arrives pregnant from Ireland. Murdoch questions Florence about Robert's advances.

Sheila and Eddie are planning their wedding. Dougal asks Bob to take Donald back. Sneddon tries to charm Frances and storms into Eddie's to tell Kathleen to return to Letterfalloch.
Robert Forsyth and Isabel think that Mr Murdoch has won over Florence. Lily persuades Effie that Inverdarroch has feelings for her. Peter Craig is worried about his citation.
Peter Craig confides to Fiona who then sees a way of turning Sneddon's statement. Brian and Isabel agree to split. Inverdarroch admits he wants to marry - but it is not to Effie.
Sheila's mother is not going to attend the wedding. Robert gets the impression from Florence that Murdoch is going to propose to Mrs Mack. Sneddon informs the Police about the poachers, as does Mr Murdoch.
Bob finds Kathleen in labour and takes her to the Lachlan Croft. Brian and Isabel make up their differences with the help of Mr Thomson. Kathleen has twins, delivered by Robert Forsyth, but the second is still born.
Carol upsets Sheila about Kathleen. Mr Mack is under the impression that he has to ask Mrs Mack for Florence's hand. Mr Forsyth is cleared of any wrong-doing regarding the twins.
Kathleen's father flys over from Ireland to take her and the baby home, while Isabel and Brian seem to be back to normal.
Mr Murdoch is worried Florence will tell Mrs Mack of his mistaken plans for a proposal, as she is returning today.
It's the day of Eddie and Sheila's wedding. Dougal tells Bob he wants him to take Donald for good because he can't cope.
Sheila and Eddie are married and the Glendarroch residents throw them a surprise reception. It's later revealed though, that Sheila and Eddie are already having marriage problems.
Mrs Mack makes her feelings about the reception clear. Fiona believes she can't have any close relationships with anyone in Glendarroch especially as she's going to implement a rent rise.
Both Carol and Brian believe that there's something wrong with Sheila and Eddie, and Morag seeks Alice and Bob's help to play a trick on Dougal.
Bob wants to use Inverdarroch's story to play a trick on Dougal, and Eddie's not shy about letting people know that him and Sheila have problems.

Dougal works out that Peter Craig told Sneddon about the tup. Sheila finds out that Eddie is going to the dance in Auchtarne. Mrs Mack confronts the villagers about Mr Murdoch's behaviour with Florence.
Dougal is annoying everyone with his claim about the tup sale, and Sneddon is not pleased. David gets a phone call from home. Fiona is in a quandary about being gifted the estate.
Eddie and Carol row about Sheila. Mr Murdoch is planning to leave the village over the rumours about him, until he hears from the Minister that Mrs Mack has no plans to marry. Fiona refuses Ruari's marriage proposal.
Eddy threatens to leave Sheila, but they talk and make up. Mrs Mack has found out that she has been deceived by Mr Murdoch. Donald has gone missing and a search party fails to find him.
Suspicion falls on a lone camper, but he has left. Sneddon helps Dougal in the search. Sgt. Murray finds Donald sheltering in a ruined byre. After helping the search team, Lorna accepts a lift from Sneddon.
Fiona and Ruari go to the horse sales, and Sneddon reminds her of an annual race between the estates. Archie is rewiring the Taylor Cottage.
Postman Fergus delivers not just post to the Blairs and the outlying crofts. Sheila's cousin Jennifer arrives with her new-born baby. Lorna and Fiona talk about the horse race. The Taylor Cottage catches fire.
Lorna is worried about her association with Sneddon. The Taylors have moved into the Lachlan Croft, but Fiona offers Bob the Factor's Cottage. Archie knocks down Dougal's tup.

Bob and Alice are waiting for the insurance to assess what caused the fire. Dougal lost one of his sheep and is quite worried about it, and believes someone may have stolen it.
People are speculating as to whether Jimmy is coming home because he's in trouble, and Morag is amused about Dougal's sheep until he accuses her of taking it.
Brian tells Jennifer about the time he spent in prison and the police arrive to speak to Brian and Isabel about Jimmy.
Jimmy has been beaten up badly, and is in Glasgow hospital, while Dougal and Grace are getting a bit fed up of Bob and Alice still being in the croft.

Heather has left Oggie, and has come back to Glendarroch and set her sights on Dougal. Everyone has got a poison pen letter about Donald's teacher, and they are worried.
Eddie is at the pub causing trouble and gets thrown out for being drunk. At the meeting, everyone decides to investigate the accusations against Miss Simmons.
People are worried about Eddie and the way he's behaving. Fiona warns Bob that if his bet with Sneddon goes wrong he will be out of a job.
Fiona has hired a new woodcutter at the estate, and he is the Blairs new lodger. Everyone is fussing over Fiona much to her annoyance.
Miss Simmons admitted to Isobel the accusations are true, and she has asked to be suspended from school.
Morag pretends she gives her blessing to Dougal and Heather. Everyone seems to be rather taken with Jim, the Blairs lodger. Eddie is leaving Glendarroch for good.

Gary sets up Donald about rowdiness on the school bus - Douglas warns them all. Greg feels humiliated and angry after he gets his test results but goes ahead with the adoption plans of Fiona's son David.
Eddie is making himself too comfortable at Sheila's. Susan had made it clear to Michael that Mrs Mack will not be living at the manse once they're married. Trish tells Gordon that she doesn't want to see him anymore.
Fiona gets news from Ruri to say he won't object to Greg adopting David, but Mrs Galbraith arrives in Glendarroch with her own views on the adoption. Fergus introduces himself to the new Police constable.
Mr Murdoch is concerned for Mrs Mack and doesn't know where she has gone. Gladys wants to take private art tuition so she can improve her work. Greg isn't happy with Mrs Galbraith wanting to see more of David. Mary dies of cot death suddenly.
Everyone is devasted by the death of Mary, but it doesn't seem to have hit Carol yet. Effie and Mr Murdoch wonder if it was their fault, as they were the last ones to take her out for a walk. Gladys calls Mr Kennedy to ask for classes.
It's the funeral today. Mr Murdoch still hasn't told Mrs Mack what happened as she is away and doesn't know how to. Gordon is still trying ot get back together with Trish. Gladys goes to see Mr Kennedy with some of her art pieces.
The new policeman is trying to get people in Glendarroch to be more safety conscious. Isobel lets Gordon help her out till Carol comes back to work. Mairi isn't happy with Lynne being too busy to see her.
Carol is thinking about returning to work, and leaves the house for the first time since Mary died. Mr Murdoch tells Mrs Mack about Mary dying over the phone. Sam asks Mr Sneddon to give Gordon a job on the farm.
Gladys is trying to reconcile with Dougal and Grace as they aren't happy about her spending so much time painting. Mr Murdoch gets an unclaimed watch back that he handed into lost property some time ago, and it's very valuable.
Fergus is having trouble building up the courage to approach Sneddon. After receiving a post card from David, Fiona encourages Greg to see the doctor again and Dougal criticises Gladys' painting then gets Lynne into trouble by gossiping.
Mr Murdoch and Fergus discuss the value of the watch. Mairi expresses her concerns for Lynne to Morag. Sam has a few words for Sneddon's behaviour towards Gordon and as a result, Gordon benefits from some work experience.
Isabel doesn't think she has time to be Co Ordinator for the Neighbourhood Watch. Gladys is informed that people are starting to gossip about her art lessons and Mr Murdoch finds out who his watch belongs to, thanks to Sneddon.
Sam confirms that the watch is hers and offers Mr Murdoch a large sum of money so she can have it back. Greg returns from the doctors with his suspicions confirmed, while Carol can't deal with hearing about Joanna's pregnancy.
Lynne is upset by her discovery that Sneddon has been seeing Sam and returns home. Gladys decides to stay for lunch with Orr to make a point, which later escalates into an argument between Gladys and Dougal.
Carol is feeling torn between her mother and Tee Jay. Gordon has ideas to share but Fiona would rather he didn't. Meanwhile, Gladys and Orr take a day away from painting, giving Effie something to gossip about and Tee Jay has news for Carol.
Carol breaks the news to her mother about the move to Ayrshire. Gordon's step father insists on visiting his new place of work much to his embarrassment and Lynne pretends to Sneddon that she doesn't have a crush on him.
Gladys has packed her bags and finds herself going to Orr's studio. It's Gordon's birthday and Matt takes pleasure in winding him up over a birthday card from Trish. Tee Jay accepts the job and Dougal discriminates against Orr's disability.
Grace and Dougal discuss Gladys' recent behaviour. Gladys has moved in with Orr and Dougal's work is affected by recent events. Gordon has a meeting with Greg Ryder but doesn't want Matt to know and makes a decision on his future.
Donald is worried that he'll have to go with Gladys if she divorces his father. Peggy wants Morag to talk Gordon into going to uni. Orr and Emma argue about who is to blame for Gladys leaving, while Dougal creates a scene in the pub.
Dougal tries to be strong over the situation with Gladys, but isn't coping well. Lynne goes to see Sneddon to apologise. Fiona continues to disregard Gordon's ideas, while Carol thinks she's knows someone who meets the constable's requirements.
Dougal refuses to go to work as he can't deal with Gladys leaving. Morag offers him some support while Emma worries about Mrs Lachlan being around the situation constantly so Morag talks Gladys into seeing him.
Dougal's note has caused a huge worry in the Lachlan household. Fortunately, Gladys finds him before he carries out his intentions. The constable does some investigating into Sheila's past with Effie and Effie doesn't hold back on information.
Since Gladys is back home, Dougal wants to build her a studio for her to continue with artwork. The constable catches McDonald acting suspicious around a car and warns him off and Isabel and Alun bring the constable and Sheila together.
Gary asks Trish to cover for him skipping school. She agrees despite not knowing what he's up to with the dog. Gladys has the idea of a holiday to get away from Glendarroch and Mr Murdoch is concerned about the minister leaving for 3 months.
Gladys, Dougal and Donald set off on holiday. Gladys is unsure whether she still has feelings for him or not and Dougal figures out she wants distance from Orr. Gladys' arrangement with Fiona isn't entirely honest and Jockie is suspicious of Gary.
Fiona decides that she will have to sack Dougal and offer Sneddon his job. Mr Murdoch convinces Gary that the best thing to do about the dog is to inform the police and Carol moves back in with her mother, which brings back memories for her.
Mrs Lachlan opens Dougal's letter from Fiona. Gary is disappointed that the owner of the dog has been found. Gordon is due back in the village but Sheila is so wrapped up in Mark that she's forgotten and Sheila's had enough of the constable.
The new minister explains to Mrs Mack why he arrived at the manse so late while Gordon wants an explanation from Trish. Trish is surprised about what Margo is up to and Sam passes on to Sneddon what she overhears at the office.
Morag encourages Gordon to not give up on Trish. Complaints about Sneddon being the new gamekeeper continue to come in but Fiona has someone else in mind to get rid of him and Sam has plans for Sneddon.
News that Inverdarroch has returned to Glendarroch is getting round and now wishes to be known as Tom Kerr. Trish's meeting with the minister ends in her agreeing to sing in church and the constable sets his sights on someone new.
It's the day of Trish's first time singing in church and the first service from the new minister. The constable and Emma go on their walk around Glendarroch and Fiona is worried about what Mrs Lachlan says before the service.
Trish's parents want to meet Mark so invite him round for dinner. Dougal doesn't want to return to Glendarroch and wants Mrs Lachlan to go live in Yorkshire and Fiona goes to the Croft to explain what really happened with Dougal.
Dougal insists that the Lachlans now belong in Yorkshire, including Emma who doesn't want to go. Sneddon offers Lynne a job, which Mairi isn't happy about and Trish thinks Mark cares more about animals than her.
Mrs Lachlan decides to go to Yorkshire and begins packing. Lynne accepts the offer of the job from Sneddon and Isabel has an idea about raising money for the minister to take back to Zimbabwe.
Gordon didn't tell Morag about the meal Tom planned at the hotel, which Tom thinks was deliberate. Sam overhears Lynne talking to Sneddon about the poison pen letters and later brings the subject up with Sneddon.
Lynne is fed up of being given a hard time from her mother about Sneddon and now Morag is giving her warnings. Trish wants to put on a village concert to raise money for the minister and Mark tries to influence her idea.
Mrs Lachlan reminices about the past before she leaves. Sneddon warns Lynne to not make Sam an enemy and Eric is worried about Joanna's headaches so gets the doctor to go to her.
While Emma is getting ready in a surprise outfit for the constable, Mrs Lachlan walks in unannounced. Mrs Lachlan has decided to stay in Glendarroch and blames Gladys for the separation. Carol has decided she'll move to Ayr to be with Tee Jay.
Carol's mum isn't happy about her leaving and tries to get Sheila to ask her to stay. Mrs McTaggart tells Mrs Lachlan and Mrs Anderson about a psychic and Joanna takes an interest. Mark is angered by Sneddon's intentions to drown a foxes cubs.
Mrs Mack strongly disagrees with the psychic night at the hotel and wants it stopped. Fiona and Greg are still receiving phone calls so Fiona reports them and Lynne tells Sneddon what happened with Mr Clark.
Word circulates about the gunshot and Lynne being injured. Sneddon thinks it was Mr Clark who was the one who shot her. The minister agrees with Mrs Mack and Mr Murdoch's opinions on the Tarot Night and Greg has his suspicions about Tom Kerr.
After Sneddon finds Trish's name on the note left at the house, he goes straight to the McDonals home. Jockie thinks Mark is involved but Trish is adamant he's not. The tarot card reader arrives and feels she should read Fiona, who refuses.
The tarot reading evening is proving a success and Joanna tries to convince Fiona to have one. Sadie is feeling stressed with the amount she has to do and Gary is upset that Isabel offers Trish a job in the shop instead of him.
Jockie and Sadie search frantically for David as he has disappeared. Tom has some ideas for the land and puts them forward to Fiona. Jockie stands up to Greg Ryder when he gets angry over David, and a search party is later organised.
David has been missing all night after wandering off when Sadie and Jockie had an argument. Sam finds a reporter snooping around and offers her money for a photograph. She refuses, but Gary McDonald is happy to offer information.
The police have Jennifer Goudie, the tarot card reader help them with their enquiries, believing that people like her are evil. Fiona doesn't believe that she could help but allows her to try.
Constable Kirk calmly tries to get John Clark to hand David over until Busby rudely interupts and then takes all credit for finding him and Fiona apologises to Sadie for how she treated her when he was taken.
Sneddon is positive that someone has been in the house, but Sam isn't convinced. Sadie has had enough of Jockie's behaviour and tells him so. It's Trish's first day of work at Blair's Store and she's approached by Sneddon with a message for Mark.
Mrs Mack has changed her mind about performing at Trish's event and Mr Murdoch follows suit. Sadie gets into a panic when she accidentally takes something from the shop without paying and Mark tries to force his beliefs on Trish.
Trish is worried about her mother and lets slip that she took something from Blair's Store. Lynne thinks Sneddon is jealous that she's been seen with Ben. Trish has a think about what Mark said and Carol and Tee Jay come back for a vist.
Gordon still isn't over Trish and wants her back. Sadie disappoints Trish by backing out of performing in the concert. Mark and his team set pheasants free and Trish talks with Margo about the fur coat incident.
Trish and Jockie discuss what's going on with Sadie. Tom asks Sheila to lunch with him and she accepts. Sneddon is sure that Mark unlocked the cages, but refuses to contact the police and Effie and Emma voice that they think they deserve a pay rise.
Sadie worries Jockie more by smashing plates over the floor. Eric decides to take part in the village concert and asks Effie to be his partner. Morag encourages Gordon to report Mark about the cages and Mark gets angry at Mrs Mack buying meat.
Sneddon sets out to catch whoever released the pheasants so Lynne informs the police. Mrs Mack insists that Isable sack Trish because of Mark's recent behaviour and Eric has an idea on how to cover Joanna's position at the hotel.
Sadie believes that Fiona doesn't trust her with David. Sneddon and Lynne set out with guns to catch out Mark and his friends. Effie is delighted with her promotion, but Douglas works out what Eric and Joanna were up to.
Trish convinces Margo to go to the police station with her but Douglas catches them outside has a word with them. Sadie's moods continue to grow worse causing great concern for Jockie, while Effie is taking her new position a little too seriously.
Jockie takes over looking after the house while Sadie is unwell. Tom and Sheila chat about Claire. Fergus swaps the spoons for something a bit noisier for the concert, while Gary is injured at work.
Jockie and Alun argue about Gary's accident, throwing accusations around. Fiona offers Tom a few words of advice regarding Sheila. Sneddon warns Ben off Lynne and Joanna and Eric are unhappy with Effie's efforts.
Lynne speaks to Sam over the issue of Sneddon interfering in her private life. Greg isn't happy when he finds out that Jockie won't accept compensation because he wants legal action instead and Cecilia warns Trish about Mark.
Jockie's greedy plans for compensation fall apart. Sheila agrees to have lunch with Eddie while Tom apologises for his reaction towards him. Trish doesn't want to see Mark anymore after finding out a few things and Alun's sister calls the Big House.
The Glendarroch residents are preparing themselves for the concert starting, nerves and all. Eric and Effie's performance at the start of the show is interrupted when Joanna goes into labour, leaving Effie slightly 'boxed in' on the stage!
Glendarroch are anxiously awaiting news on Joanna who has been in labour for 12 hours. Eddie has suspicions that Tom wants more than just a friendship with Sheila and Trish is worried about her mother's behaviour, which is worsening.
It's the minister's last service in Glendarroch. While Mairi and Lynne make their way, Mairi expresses her concerns for Catriona growing up too fast and Joanna and Eric are struggling to think of a name for their baby girl.
Joanna and Eric bring their baby girl home. The minister says his goodbyes to everyone in Glendarroch, making some a little emotional, and after a chat with Mrs Lachlan regarding family, Isabel takes it upon herself to contact Alun's sister.
Isabel tries to rectify the quarrel between Alun and Greg with no success and so later explains to Fiona. Sam tries to find something on Alun with no success and Mairi returns home from Auchtarn only to be shocked with what she finds.
The social working questions Mairi, looking for signs of child neglect. Eric and Joanna come up with a plan to pick the baby's name and Emma gives Douglas a hard time over being involved in taking the kids from their home.
arol has a theory as to why Eddie is returning to Glendarroch. Lynne is concerned about Mairi keeping the kids off school. Mrs Mack doesn't hold back on gossiping on the recent incident and Alun returns feeling riddled with guilt.
Mairi lets the kids go back to school but with strict instructions to not tell anyone anything. Alun suggest that Sian's daughter live with him and Isabel and Greg gives Alun a list of demands for the golf course.
Alun has decided to go back to Wales until Menna has finished school. Fiona reveals to Joanna that she sometimes worries about Sam and Greg. Eddie and Tom appear to be competing for Sheila and Isabel tries to make Alun see things clearer.
Mairi is worried about Sandy as he is a little quiet since the issues with the social worker. Mrs Mack can't stop talking about Ben's great qualities to Michael. Jockie and Sadie return, but there is no sign of any improvement with Sadie's health.
Isabel has been preparing for Alun and his niece coming to the village this afternoon. Susan is astounded to find Mrs Mack hand-washing her underwear but Michael doesn't see the harm. Meanwhile, Sam asks Greg to keep a secret from Fiona.
Isabel's first impression of Menna isn't the best. Susan feels there should be some boundaries set in the Manse with Mrs Mack so arranges a meeting. Mairi goes to the school to see her kids records and Menna becomes destructive.
The Ross' meeting with Mrs Mack results in Mrs Mack being very upset. Menna isn't too happy about her first day at school in Auchtarn but goes anyway and Eddie saves with day with a solution to take Menna's mind off things.
t's Menna's first day at school and Isabel is worried about her, but all seems to go well. Mairi is worried about the letter she received requesting her presence at the childrens panel and Sneddon investigates into Sam's watch.
Lynne offers to go to the childrens panel with Mairi, but luckily Isabel offers. Mairi demands to see the files on her case and is surprised to be met with some co operation and the suspect of the mystery sheep carcass points towards Sneddon's lot.
Some of the Glendarroch residents pull together to get Mairi's croft back on track. The situation with Mrs Mack is causing people to talk. Sneddon gets information on the watch while Menna finds out the truth about her uncle being married.
Isabel has a chat with Menna about the reasons why she's never agreed to marry Alun. Gordon's troubles with getting over Trish is beginning to affect his work there's a problem with drains that Fiona thinks Sneddon has created intentionally.
Gordon thinks he'll never get over Trish and considers that he might not be able to stay in Glendarroch. Mairi is beginning to doubt herself as a mother, while Alun disagrees with Menna spending time with Eddie. Tom finally tells Sheila how he feels.
It's the day of the hearing and Mairi is worried about the impact recent events have had on her kids. Fiona is told that she has no case against the other estate over the flooding. Gordon and Morag chat about his decision to leave for university.
Sam is growing tired of Sneddon throwing accusations at her. Mairi offers to let Menna up to her croft to give Isabel and Alun time for a chat and Gordon breaks the news to Greg, while Morag can't handle the idea of being alone again.
Mairi finally clears the air with Douglas. Sheila receives some bad news from her mum so can't go away with Tom at the weekend. Eric and Joanna get the christening plans underway, which is going to be family only much to Effie's annoyance.
Morag is delighted with her gift from Gordon. Susan is reluctant to have Mrs Mack's help with the house. Grace is disappointed that Emma and Douglas are moving in, while over at the shop, Isabel insists Alun clears the air with Eddie.
Mrs Mack and Mr Murdoch gossip about the mess in the manse. Mrs Mack fears she may have to leave...putting the fear into Mr Murdoch! Sheila approaches Fiona for a favour and Effie is worried about having already bought a christening present
Mrs Mack has made the decision to hand in her notice which makes the minister feel bad. Joanna's visit to the shop with Lucy creates more than one awkward situation and Sneddon continues to snoop into Sam's background.
Alun and Isabel disagree on how to handle Menna. Mrs Mack starts to inform Glendarroch residents of her eviction. A strange call for Greg panics both him and Sam while making Fiona more suspicious and Duncan is gradually introduced to the village.
uncan accepts Sneddon's job offer. Sheila decides she has to sell her car to help her parents. Greg and Sam argue about who is behind Greg's past being questioned, while Sneddon is gathering more information on Sam.
Eddie offers Sheila help and tells her he has a girlfriend when she takes his gesture the wrong way. Sam finds out why Sneddon's been acting strange and she confirms the truth and Duncan lends a helping hand with Sheila's car.
Eric and Joanna are having Lucy christened at home, which Mrs Mack disagrees with. Isabel suggests that her and Alan take Menna for a picnic and Trish is beginning to understand how Menna feels being bossed around.
Menna is convinced that her uncle doesn't like her. Eddie shows an interest in Sheila's car. Fiona and Greg plan a holiday and Mrs Mack is putting her mark all over Mr Murdoch's house but Fergus puts her in her place.
Menna is upset after reading the letters from her mother to her uncle. The situation between Mrs Mack and Mr Murdoch is the talk of Glendarroch so Isabel takes the matter into her hands and Menna confides in Trish.
Sneddon shows Sam the photograph and demands she confirm everything. Isabel and Alun leave Menna and Trish to themselves but Alun doesn't think it's right. Meanwhile, Fiona and Greg are getting ready to go on holiday but are interrupted by a call.
Alun isn't coping with Sian's death so Isabel suggests a memorial. Greg fears Fiona will find out about past events with Sam. Mr Murdoch admits he's not happy with Mrs Mack moving in and Mrs Lachlan struggles with Mrs McTaggart's deafness.
Lynne finds Sneddon passed out drunk in a trashed house so Duncan takes care of him in his hungover state. Eddie asks Duncan to keep quiet that he bought Sheila's car while Lynne snaps at Davie for neglecting the estate.
Isabel has had enough of the quarrel between Menna and Alun so has a word with Menna. Isabel is also holding the secret of Mr Murdoch's departure but Mrs Mack thinks he has gone missing and Effie isn't happy when Duncan and Morag hit it off.
Fergus gives Mrs Mack a hard time over Mr Murdoch going missing. Menna starts to search for somewhere else to live outside Glendarroch. The memorial service for Sian is going ahead but getting Menna to cooperate is proving something of a problem.
Trish finds out that Sadie has stopped taking her pills and worries she'll fall back to square one. Mrs Mack is not taking it lightly that Isabel was aware of his plans and Jean's hearing problems almost cause an accident.
Alun is having second thoughts about the memorial. Mairi steps in and tries to reason with Menna but fails. Mrs Mack approaches the minister for help and Menna confides in Mairi after she faces some trouble looking for a flat.
Mrs Mack is considering leaving Glendarroch but the minister convinces her otherwise. Mrs Mack offers cleaning services to Douglas. Mrs McTaggart gets a hearing aid and Eric shows interest in whiskey that Mrs McTaggart and Mrs Lachlan have at home.
Tom starts to announce his and Sheila's engagement. Alun asks Isabel to marry him again but she turns him down as she usually does. Meanwhile, Gary is up to no good with his friends causing Douglas great concern.
Jockie and Trish discuss her plans for the future. The minister has good news for Duncan on his coin find but Sneddon doesn't see it the same way and Isabel has a change of heart regarding her decisions against marriage.
A passer by discovers Alun's crashed car. Douglas visits Isabel to break the bad news. An archeologist that comes to Glendarroch to investigate the coins turns out to be an old friend of Joanna's and Morag plans a new look.
Alun is suffering from post traumatic amnesia taking him back to the time of his wife's death. Celia is looking for permission to investigate the grounds from Sam and Morag tries her hand at a dating angency.
Greg returns from his holiday and assures Isabel his job on the golf course is safe. Mrs Lachlan is confronted by Gary McDonald and his trouble-making friends giving her a shock and Isabel is finding it difficult to deal with Alun's condition.
Douglas and Emma argue over about how to deal with the thugs. Eddie thinks that Tom and Sheila don't quite suit each other. Douglas comes up with an idea to keep the kids in the village entertained and Sam blurts out about an old love to Sheila.
Plans for the youth cafe are underway. Unsurprisingly, Mrs Mack puts forward a complaint against it. Susan tries to encourage Isabel to go back to the hospital again and Greg isn't happy with people knowing about Sam owning the other estate.
Morag shows off her new look in Glendarroch and tells Mairi about he first experience with a dating agency. It's the opening of the youth cafe but the first day isn't looking good and Isabel suggests that her and Alun get to know each other again.
Alun is getting out of hospital but he still doesn't know anyone except Menna. The youth cafe idea hasn't been welcomed as Mrs Mack finds the village hall broken into and Sam is embarassed over what happened with Greg so hands in her notice.
Leonard offers to take Mrs Mack to afternoon tea as a token of his appreciation. Isabel is surprised that Alun wants his stay in their home as a business arrangement only and the minister and Douglas discuss how to deal with the break in.
Mrs Mack boasts about being taken for afternoon tea but won't say who with. Lynne is worried that she'll be out of a job if Sam leaves and Sneddon takes great pleasure in watching Greg sweat over his and Sam's secrets.
Douglas and Emma argue about the mess of the house. Mrs Mack is set against improving the youth cafe. At the hotel, Effie doesn't hide that she's not happy about Mrs Mack and Leonard. Mrs McTaggart and Mrs Lachlan look forward to the auction.
Gary promises Sarah he is being honest, but lies about all the money being gone. Trish is annoyed with Victor for being so friendly with Mrs Mack. Menna is leaving for Wales today, and is sad to be leaving. Carol is on a retreat with her religious group, but never told anyone she was leaving. Victor is ill. Sarah finds Gary's stash of money.
Victor has meningitis, and is in a serious condition in hospital. Gary tells Sarah about where he got the money from, and about what Peter did to him. Sarah wants to tell Sam what happened. Morag and Tom return from honeymoon. Mairi is annoyed to see Stella back in Glendarroch.
It's Sheila's birthday, but she is keeping it quiet. Stella looks after the shop while Isobel goes to get her hair done and go shopping, but Mairi isn't happy to see her there. Peter begs Sarah not to tell Sam what happened. Victor and Trish argue about his friendship with Mrs Mack.
Gary wants him and Sheila to start a taxi business. Eddie visits Sheila for her birthday. Tom thinks Morag isn't pulling her weight on the croft, and isn't happy with sharing her duties in the house. Sarah isn't happy with Gary's plan to go into business with Chic.
Victor is out of hospital, but still taking it easy. Morag doesn't seem to be outside working much now, and Tom is annoyed with her getting her hair done and going to lunch all the time. Stella and Mairi are still bickering. Isobel asks Stella to stay longer and help, but she says no.
Gary isn't sure he trusts Chic. Mrs Mack has lent money to Victor, and Trish isn't happy. Stella tells Mairi to ask Isobel for a job at the shop, and Isobel is delighted. Eric has forgot about his anniversary, and Joanna isn't impressed. Peter promotes Sarah.
Roddy threatens Gary about the taxi business, and he sends someone over to beat up Chic. Dominic asks Sally out on a date, but she isn't sure, as she just wants to be friends. Tom speaks to Morag about wanting her to work on the croft, and she said she has wanted to since the honeymoon. Morag and Tom want to start a business making homemade produce.
It looks like Sarah has a crush on Peter, and they go to Glasgow for a business meeting. Dominic and Sally are now an item, but he is coming on a bit too strong. Morag and Tom continue to plan their business venture, and want to convert the barn into a cafe.
Sarah makes a mistake at the office, and Sam is annoyed with her for it. Trish thinks Mrs Mack is getting too close to Victor. Sneddon thinks squatters are staying at Carol's house, and goes into the house with a gun, but they are friends of Carol's. Morag holds a business dinner at the croft. Peter and Sarah share a kiss while Sam is at the dinner.
Carol seems to be living with Martin and his son Dylan, but Isobel and Mairi aren't sure about him. Sally and Dominic are arguing, as Sally thinks he likes her stepmother as she is young. Sarah is acting like she is in love with Peter, but he wants to forget what happened. Peter comes round to Sarah's house, and they kiss again.
Effie and Jockie enter into a dance competition. Sarah and Peter continue to see each other in secret. Gary is annoyed with Chic taking advantage of him. Sneddon asks out Tiffany again. Sheila is wary of Sally, as she seems to be spending a lot of money on Dominic.
Sheila tells Dominic to return the gifts to Sally, as she seems to be a bad influence. Mrs Mack continues to fuss over Victor, but he is getting fed up with it. Tom brings some samples of cheese to the bar. Sally makes Dominic skip school.
Sarah is acting like a lovesick child, and Sam is unimpressed with her attitude, but doesn't know the reason behind it. Dominic finds out that Sally has been using her stepmother's credit card, and confesses to Sheila. Sally leaves home and comes to stay at Sheila's.
Sally is too scared to return home, but Sheila doesn't want her to stay any longer. Sarah tells Peter that she doesn't want to stay with Gary, but he is worried about her immaturity. After spending the day with Sarah, Peter has some sort of attack and gets taken away by ambulance. Sam tells Peter that she will marry him if he wants.
Sarah is acting hysterical around Peter, but he is getting fed up with her, and tells her he wants to end things. Gary catches Sarah and Peter having lunch together, and before he jumps to conclusions, Peter tells him and Sarah about the engagement to Sam. Stella is thinking about staying in Glendarroch.
Sarah isn't getting on well at work, and Sam isn't happy with her effort. Stella offers a lot of money to stay in the hotel, but she wants to stay where Joanna and Eric are living at the moment. Sneddon is unhappy that Tiffany is giving him the brush-off, and gets into a fight with another man she is seeing in the club.
Sheila asks Sarah if she is pregnant because of her mood swings, and she is terrified at the thought of it. Sneddon and Tiffany are seeing each other again. Sarah finds out that she is pregnant, she is devastated, and asks Sheila for advice. Sneddon asks Tiffany to move in with him, but she isn't sure.
Sarah tells Gary that she is pregnant, and he is delighted. Martin tells Carol he wants to go to Ireland for the folk music season, and she is disappointed. Tom doesn't like Morag being so safety conscious about the cheese-making after she returns from the course. Sarah tells Peter she knows he is the father.
Carol is worrying about money. Sam is very impressed with the creamery, but isn't happy when Tom and Morag congratulate her on her engagement, and calls it off with Peter after an argument. Sarah is feeling guilty because Gary is being so nice to her. Martin says he is leaving, so Carol goes with him.
Stella moves into the hotel. Everyone is shocked to learn that Carol has left with Martin without telling anyone. Sam tells Peter the wedding is back on, and he is delighted. Sarah meets with Peter, and she is hurt to discover that he wants nothing to do with her or the baby.
Eric isn't happy waiting hand and foot on Stella at the hotel. Menna is back for a visit. Morag starts selling her cheese in the shop. Sarah is acting hysterical after talking to Peter, and tells Sheila she wants to have an abortion. Sarah tells Gary he might not be the father of the baby.
Gary is devastated to learn about Sarah's affair with Peter, and tells her he will tell Sam everything. Stella is holding a party that will be selling sexy underwear, but Mairi isn't impressed, and Mrs Mack is mortified. Peter murders Gary and buries him in the woods after dark.
Sarah is concerned that Gary has been missing overnight. Joanna tells Eric that she agreed to let Tiffany go to Wales with Menna at the previous night's party. Peter and Sarah argue about the affair.
Gary has still not returned and Sarah is as worried as ever. His absence is affecting the garage business. The saleswoman that Eric deals with is coming to the hotel for a meeting and Isabel feels that Morag being in the shop makes people feel forced to buy her cheese.
Sarah is cleaning the house in preperation for Gary coming home, but she is still frantic with worry. Tom encourages Morag to reconcile with Isobel over the cheese. Eric is worried about turning forty. Trish and Victor are bickering about living together.
Sam is planning her wedding, and tells Peter she wants Sheila as a witness. Sheila takes Sarah to the police station to report Gary missing. Tom is annoyed with Morag for telling Isobel and Mairi they are opening a farm shop, when he didn't want to.
Eric isn't enjoying his birthday. Jockie is getting more worried the longer Gary has been missing. Sarah goes for her scan, and is upset Gary is missing it. Lachie is showing a mild interest in Mairi, and Isobel pokes fun at her. Sheila tells Peter to call off the wedding or she will tell Sam everything. Eric buys a hairpiece.
Joanna hates Eric's new hairpiece, but he refuses to take it off even though people are making fun of it. Peter goes to Sarah and asks her to stop Sheila telling Sam everything. Lachie asks Mairi out, but she says she isn't interested. Peter collapses as Sheila arrives at the wedding.
Trish invites Lafferty round to the cottage for a drink, but Victor isn't impressed. Eddie returns, and suggests to Jockie that they go out and look for Gary themselves. Trish and Lafferty share a kiss during their evening together.
Victor isn't happy that Lafferty stayed the night with Trish. Eddie insists that Sheila tells the police about the affair as it changes everything. Joanna is worried that Eric will have an affair because of his mid-life crisis, and starts dressing more provocatively. Sarah is furious with Sheila for telling the police.
The police think the fact Gary is a senior partner in the garage is more cause for investigation than his disappearance. Sam and Peter return from holiday, and the police want to talk to him but he denies an affair. Isobel is going to a dance with Lachie, and Mairi is making fun of her.
Sam wonders why the police wanted to speak to Peter. Sarah begs the police to believe her, and she tells them about the hush money Peter gave him. Mairi seems to feel left out when Lachie picks up Isobel for the dance.
Sarah goes to stay with Sheila and Eddie for company. Peter is starting to crack under the pressure, and is lashing out at Sam. Tom and Morag are opening the farm shop today, but it's very quiet. Eric doesn't like Joanna's new look, but she is still trying hard. Tiffany returns to Glendarroch. Peter goes to Sarah and asks for the money back, and threatens her.
Sarah is terrified after what Peter said to her. Sheila goes up to the Big House to see Sam, but Peter ends up attacking her, and Sam walks in. She tells Peter to leave the house. Sally worries about the poison pen letters. Tom and Morag are upset that their opening day was a failure. Sneddon finds Peter, and it appears he has committed suicide in front of Gary's grave.
Everyone is devastated to learn of Gary's death, and Sam is shocked to learn that Peter was implicated in it. Sarah is feeling terribly guilty about his death, and is finding it hard to not tell anyone the truth. Trish knows there is something more to Gary's murder, and wants to question Sarah.
Sarah confesses to Sam about the affair, but Sam forgives her when she sees how upset she is. Trish is determined to find out what happened with Sarah. She confronts her and Sarah confesses. Reporters are in Glendarroch trying to get a story. Stella tells Lachie to ask out Mairi.
Sarah has gone to stay with her mother after Jockie stormed in and shouted at her. Dominic and Sally are scared that something might happen to them, as Sally thinks the pen letters are to blame. Tom and Morag get their picture taken for a food magazine. It appears Cheryl has a crush on Eric.
Tiffany is still staying with Sneddon, and not enjoying the early mornings, so she plans to move back into the hotel. Sally and Dominic read up about the spirit world. Victor plans to move in with Mrs Mack to give Trish some space. Sam goes round to see Sneddon for some company, and they end up kissing.
Sam spent the night with Sneddon, but feels uncomfortable about it, and quickly leaves in the morning. Eddie is furious with Dominic and Sally for having a seance, as it left Sally terrified. Mrs Mack loves living with Victor and looking after him. Joanna finally gets rid of Eric's wig and sacks Cheryl.
It is the day of Gary's funeral, and Jockie tells Sarah to keep away, but she arrives at the end. Trish blows up at Sarah in the pub, and Jockie ends up telling everyone about the affair. Menna arrives back for the funeral. Sally is still scared about dying, and she and Dominic end up getting drunk and kissing.
Sam is going to Peter's cremation as she feels that she should. Sarah receives threatening letters through her door, from Trish. Jockie breaks into Sarah's home to collect Gary's things which upsets her. Victor arranges for Lachie to take Mrs Mack to the theatre.
Mrs Mack is furious with Victor for setting her up with Lachie. Tom is worried that they are taking orders that they don't have the resources to fill. Sheila and Eddie go to talk to the principal about Sally and Dominic. Tom and Morag are going to be appearing on the radio.
Tom and Morag are nervous about their radio interview. Sally learns the pen letter she received was written by a young boy at school. Tom and Morag end up having an argument about the business on the radio, but the presenter is delighted.
Eric ends up firing Tiffany after she is caught coming out of a guest's bedroom, and she leaves Glendarroch straight away. Lachie's daughter Kitty arrives to stay, and goes to interview for the job at the bar. Tom and Morag reconcile after they listen to their radio interview and have a laugh about it.
Victor tries to suggest karaoke for the club to Trish, but she refuses. Kitty is finding it difficult to adjust to working in the bar. Morag is finding it hard to cope with the creamery. Trish steals something from the shop, but doesn't realise she put it in her bag.
Trish is still chasing after Lafferty, even though he doesn't seem to be showing her much attention. Victor arranges the karaoke for the hotel, and Eric is nervous as he agreed to do the opening number. Mairi goes round to cook Lachie his tea, but they end up getting trapped in the basement. Trish sees Lafferty flirting with Kitty, and pours a drink over his head.
Mairi and Lachie have been trapped in the basement all night, and Kitty arrives with Chic and lets them out. Mairi is mortified about what happened, and doesn't want anyone to find out about it. Lafferty tells Trish he wants to try again, and asks if he can move in.
Lafferty has moved into the cottage, and has been treating Trish very well. Chic doesn't waste much time in telling lots of people about Mairi and Lachie being stuck in the cellar. Victor isn't happy that Lafferty has moved into the cottage. A new doctor has arrived in Glendarroch. Dominic and Sally start working at the creamery.
Sam has donated £2,000 to Isabel and the theatre group. Sally and Dominic aren't enjoying working at the creamery very much. Dr Andy offends Trish by mentioning the murder as he is moving into his new cottage. Eric isn't sure whether to join the theatre goup. Morag thinks she is going through menopause.
Kitty encourages Lachie to persevere with Mairi, but also to stand up to her. Eric and Isabel fall out when he chats to her about the theatre group. Lachie organises a men's night of poker, so Mairi organises a women's night at Morag's.
Tom is worried as he bet Morag's goats in the poker game, and Sneddon won, so he comes to collect them. Dominic is studying for his exams. Isabel holds auditions for the theatre group, but Eric is annoyed when he isn't picked as chairperson.
Sheila and Eddie worry about Dominic who is frantic over his exams. Eric is unhappy with Isabel being in charge of the theatre group. Morag goes to see Dr Sharpe about the menopause, but is shocked to be told that she is pregnant.
Morag tells Isabel she's pregnant but is worried that her and Tom are too old. Jockie and Effie return from their break away after Gary's death to the news that Paul has moved in with Trish.
Morag and Tom are delighted with their news. Everyone is excited about the play, and are eager to start rehearsals. Davie is having problems with his health. The doctor warns Morag that her pregnancy might have problems because of her age.
Jockie isn't happy about Trish and Paul's relationship. Morag and Tom tell Sam and Mairi about the pregnancy, and they are shocked. Trish invites Jockie and Effie round for lunch with Paul, but Jockie still doesn't like him.
There are men in Glendarroch talking about its potential as a development. Jockie is furious to see Sarah back in Glendarroch. Lachie thinks that Kitty is having an affair with Eric, but she is playing along to wind him up.
Jockie and Trish are furious that Sarah named the baby after Sadie. Dominic got great results for his exams, and is delighted. Sam tells Jockie that she isn't removing Sarah from the estate, so he tells her that Effie and him quit their jobs.
Someone throws a brick through Sarah's window. The doctor tells Davie that he has arthritis, and that he should reconsider his line of work. Jockie gets drunk, and Davie tells him Sam may have sold the estate.
Davie accidently shoots Sam in the gun room during an argument, and he is frantic with worry, but it isn't serious. Tony tells Davie he might lose his gun licence after the accident. Effie gives Sarah a present for the baby.
Isobel feels sorry for Sam as she is feeling very isolated, so she goes to talk to Jockie and Effie to let them see reason. Sarah gets annoyed with Tony for treating her like a charity case. Andy talks to Dominic about becoming a doctor.
After talking to Andy, Sally has been more interested in becoming a doctor. Jockie is angry with Effie for going to see the baby, as he sees it as a betrayal. Sarah agrees to go out with Tony after Sheila encourages her to socialise.
Effie is furious with Jockie's attitude toward the baby. Sarah is nervous that Tony thinks their night out is a date, and is very uncomfortable with being out. Chick runs into Senga, and is shocked to see her again.
Chick is nervous about what Senga wants, as she seems to be back and spending all his money. Sarah feels bad about the kiss her and Tony shared. Sally is becoming paranoid about her health after reading medical books.
Jockie goes round to Sarah's house to see the baby, but is still rude toward Sarah. Isobel holds a rehersal, but postpones the show after it appears that nobody has practised their lines. Senga tells Chick they should end their relationship.
Chick is sad at the prospect of his marriage ending. Jockie is still going to see the baby, and is being a bit nicer to Sarah. Morag goes for a scan, and is delighted. Trish is still annoyed with her dad for not accepting Paul as her boyfriend.
Sarah is letting the bills mount up, and it seems she is exhausted. Chick gets Senga to sign a post-nuptial agreement, so that they can have a clean break, but she waits to tell Chick she won £250,000 in the lottery.
Sarah returns home and finds out that Sadie is gone, and is furious to find that Jockie took her. Kitty isn't happy that Tina is staying. Sam stops everyone fighting over Sadie, and they all sit down to discuss a better arrangement to see the baby.
Sarah's mother arrives at her house to help, and tells her she will stay till she is better. Davie finds out he doesn't have arthritis, so he is happy he won't lose his gun licence. Jockie asks Sarah if he can be a part of her christening.
Isobel is very focused on the play, and is annoying everyone. Kitty wants Tina to leave, and tells her she isn't in love with her. Sarah asks Sam to be godmother to Sadie, and Sheila is upset. The play goes well.
Sheila buys Sadie a christening gown, but Jockie gives her the gown that Gary wore, so she uses that instead. Tom hurts his back, and while they are in hospital Morag has a scan which shows that their baby has died.
Tom and Morag are still reeling from the news that she lost the baby, and Tom cannot accept it. Victor isn't managing to keep up with the bills. Sarah's mother is still interfering in her private life.
Victor organises driving lessons for Mrs Mack's birthday. Tom and Morag go to the hospital to induce the labour to remove the baby, but Tom is handling it the worst. Mrs Mack is annoyed to learn that Chick is going to be her driving instructor.
Sheila and Eddie are falling out, as he thinks she is getting too involved in other people's problems. Tom is picking fights with Morag after they return home. Mairi tries to make Morag feel better, but ends up upsetting her more.
Morag and Tom are still not talking. Trish and Paul return from their holiday, and Victor tells her someone has been taking money from the accounts. Trish tells Victor it was her that took the money to help with the holiday.
Isobel receives a letter telling her the divorce from Alun is through. Trish is worried how she will pay back the money to the club, and Victor is panicking. Sam is acting distant from everyone, and Davie is worried.
Victor tells Trish he is leaving the club. Dominic is annoyed with Sally for leaving the club with Paul when they were out. Morag tells Davie she thinks her marriage is over, and he goes and confronts Tom about it and tells him he is pathetic.
Trish begs Victor to reconsider and come back to the club, but he refuses and wants the money he invested back. Beth tells Eddie she wants more, but he isn't sure. Isobel has a party, and Stella organises a stripper.
Beth tells Eddie to meet her at her hotel. Eric and Isobel are falling out over the community shows. Mrs Mack has her first driving lesson. Eddie isn't happy to hear that Sheila was drunk at the party and all over the stripper.
Davie thinks Sam has a drinking problem, Sheila mentions it to her but she gets angry. Kitty asks out Andy for a date. Tom asks Victor to work at the creamery, he agrees and is happy about having two jobs.
Lachie is getting carried away while asking Kitty about her date, and is excited about having a doctor in the family. Sheila confides in Joanna about her problems with Eddie and their sex life. Kitty cooks Andy a romantic meal.
Lachie sees Andy leave in the morning after spending the night at his house. Eddie is furious that Sheila told Joanna about their problems. Chick isn't enjoying helping Mrs Mack how to drive, but she is loving it.
There has been a girl sleeping rough and stealing produce from the local farms. Trish has been having trouble sleeping. Kitty tells Sarah she had a relationship with a woman in Edinburgh, and that's why she doesn't have feelings for Andy.
Andry thinks Trish should see a psychologist to get to the root of her sleeping problem. Sally tells Dominic she is seeing someone else, so he goes and tells Trish about it. Davie finds the homeless girl Jude, and lets her stay at his cottage.
Trish didn't believe what Dominic told him about Paul and Sally. Davie is trying to get rid of Jude. Eric and Mrs Mack almost get into a car accident while she is having a lesson, and she ends up kicking one of his headlights out.
Davie tells Jude she can stay with him for the time being. Trish thinks Sally is trying to break her and Paul up, but they are still seeing each other. Dominic shouts at Sally at school, and doesn't complete his exam.
Maureen is ill with a stomach bug just as she was planning to leave. Dominic is appealing for good exam grades after what happened. Tom and Morag are setting up their produce shop. Davie is annoyed to learn that Jude used to do drugs.
Andy thinks that everyone who ate some of Morag's cheese are the ones who are ill. Sheila is annoyed that Sarah didn't ask her to look after the baby while she and her mother were sick. Morag and Tom are worried about what might happen to them.
Jockie tells Trish about Paul and Sally, but she doesn't believe him and they end up arguing. She confronts Paul, but he lies to cover up, and she believes him. Jockie talks to Paul and tells him to stay away from Trish.
Tom and Morag have to close the creamery on instruction of the health board. Jockie tries to get Trish to listen to him about Paul. Victor tells Jockie that Paul provided money for the club by buying stolen alcohol.
Trish gets a warning from the police that they are being watched. The whole business with the creamery is causing lots of arguments in Glendarroch, and Tom and Morag are falling out with everyone. Trish finds out it was her dad that told the police.
Isobel and Mairi are upset that Tom and Morag are ignoring their efforts to apologise. Kitty's girlfriend Tina comes to stay, and Lachie doesn't think anything of them sharing a room. Trish refuses to use the suppliers that Paul were using anymore.
Eddie feels guilty after his night with an escort, and Sheila is feeling guilty for what she said to him. Sarah tells her mum about Kitty and Tina and she is disgusted. Davie is flirting with Sheila, and Eddie continues to see an escort.
Jude tries to seduce Davie in an effort to let her stay, but he is disgusted. After she apologises he softens a little, but still wants her to find a new place. Kitty is uncomfortable with people thinking she is gay.
Trish returns home to find Paul has been beaten up. Tina has left, and Kitty is upset. Trish asks Chick to lend her money to pay off the men, but he doesn't have enough. Sam turns up to the shop drunk. Eddie is still seeing an escort.
Jockie tells Victor to offer Trish money from him, but to make her believe it's from him, so he takes over the club. Davie talks to Andy about Jude as he is worried about the illness, and makes her go to see him.
Davie isn't letting Jude work on the estate while she is waiting for her HIV test result. Mairi shouts at Mrs Mack for the mistake she made, as it upset Morag. Joanna and Eric are going away for a murdery mystery weekend for their anniversary.
Some of Lachlan's friends came to the hotel last night, and a huge party followed which left the bar wrecked. Eric and Joanna return and want to know exactly what happened. Sam throws all the drink out of the house. Sam throws all her drink out.
Lachie invites Mairi to go and see a band with him and she accepts. Victor tries to convince Mrs Mack to admit she done wrong, while Jude awaits the results of her HIV test and Eddie asks Louise to keep quiet about things.
Mrs Mack is appearing in court with Eric today after she kicked his headlamp out. Jude is trying to find somewhere else to stay. Mrs Mack is fined for contempt of court, and found guilty for the crime, and is devastated.
Mrs Mack goes to resign at the Big House, but Sam tells her not to blow things out of proportion. Jude moves in with Sarah. Sam visits Dominic after he doesn't turn up for work, and tells him he still has his job, and wants him to come back.
Sarah isn't happy with the mess Jude is making of her house. Mairi receives a phonecall that her mother has died, and she is devastated. Eddie asks Louise to see him again as an escort, but she refuses since she now knows he is her tutor.
Dominic is worried that he has got Sam pregnant after Sheila hints she might be. Victor is worried about Trish, and tells her to talk to her dad. Eddie is getting obsessed with Louise, but she isn't interested.
Sheila overhears Dominic on the phone talking about pregnancy tests and is worried. Eric is worried his themed night isn't going to go well, as people keep pulling out of it. Sam tells Dominic he should leave the office.
Paul is treating Trish terribly, and she comes home from work early to find him in bed with Sally. Eric feels guilty that his fake gun caused Lachie's heart attack. Victor brings Trish home to her dad. Jude tells Sarah about Dominic and Sam.
Sandy is helping Mairi and Kitty look after the farm while Lachie is in hospital. Dominic wants to go travelling. Sheila finds condoms in Dominic's pocket, and is worried. Jockie tells Trish it was him that bought the club, and not Victor.
Effie thinks Trish should see a doctor. She goes back to the cottage, and after talking to Paul, she drugs him. Lachie has to have a heart operation, and Kitty is upset and worried about him. Trish leaves Paul tied up with the gas on in the house.
Trish phones Jockie and tells him what she did, so Victor goes round to rescue him. Jockie and Victor make it look as if nothing has happened at Paul's, so that he can't frame Trish. Eric is still feeling guilty about Lachie.
Jockie is frantic with worry as Trish hasn't been in touch. Isobel has enrolled to do Drama Studies in Auchtarn. Sally is angry with Paul for dismissing her. Kitty goes to see Tina while she is in Edinburgh, but she is seeing someone else.
Paul's moods are getting increasingly worse, and he takes it out on Sally, who is still in love with him. Kitty doesn't seem very happy about the engagement. Jockie goes to Liverpool to see Trish to take her back home, but she isn't coming back.
Chick finds Sally beaten up in one of the taxis. Isobel is upset that Mairi didn't tell her about the engagement, as she heard it from Davie. Eddie goes to see Louise again, and seems to be developing strong feelings for her.
Dominic wants to go to Camp America, and Sheila offers to pay the fare. Jude blurts out that Sam slept with Dominic in front of the employees at the Big House, but nobody believes her. Paul pleads guilty in court to his charge.
Dominic is leaving for America. Lachie returns from hospital back to the farm with Mairi. She is worried about what he might expect from her when he is better. Eddie's escort meets Isobel at her theatre class, and Eddie is worried.
Sally gets a job at the hotel. Mrs Mack is having her driving test today. Kitty breaks down in front of Lachie about the engagement. Sally asks Sarah if she can stay longer at the house, but Sarah feels pressured into it.
Eddie receives a worrying bank statement. The villagers are setting up a farm watch campaign. Eric and Isobel are bonding over their love of theatre. Lachie and Tom pick an engagement ring to give to Mairi. Mrs Mack buys a sports car.
Everyone is surprised to see Mrs Mack in her new car. Louise asks Eddie when he is seeing her again, but he tells her he's broke. Sheila finds the bank statement, but Eddie tells her he was making payments on a present.
Sandy is trying to flirt with Kitty, as he thinks he can seduce her even though she is gay. Louise offers Eddie a free session but he refuses, which upsets her. Lachie gives Mairi an engagement ring.
Eddie confides in Andy about what he's been doing. Sandy leaves for Aberdeen. Tony and Andy have a party at the flat, and everyone gets annoyed by Sally being so drunk. Andy introduces his new girlfriend, and it is Tina.
Kitty is devastated to see that Andy is going out with Tina. Jude is still calling people and pretending to be the thief. Kitty goes to see Tina and they end up arguing and getting upset. Louise turns up at Eddie and Sheila's house.
Chick lets the air out of Mrs Mack's car tyres. Andy wants Tina to move in with him and stay in Glendarroch, but she isn't sure. Eddie goes back to college, Louise is still asking to see him, so he goes round to her house after college.
Eddie doesn't come home, as he is with Louise. Tina agrees to move in with Andy, but Kitty is furious she is still staying with Andy as she is gay and he has no idea. Sheila tells Sam she thinks Eddie is having an affair.
Sam and Effie are getting fed up of Jockie's new alarm at the Big House. Eric heads off with Lucy for the weekend, leaving Joanna in charge of the hotel. Sheila comes to see Eddie at work, and sees him with Beth.
Joanna is very shaken up after what happened last night, but doesn't tell anyone as the man threatened her. Sheila is still checking up on Eddie. Joanna finally tells Victor that she was attacked and that the money was stolen.
Eddie and Sheila are bickering. Victor phones the police about what happened. Kitty plans to tell Lachie that she is gay, but doesn't know how to. Eric isn't happy that Joanna didn't report the crime immediately.
The thief calls Joanna and threatens her again, and she is frantic with worry. While Lucy is off school, the man manages to get into the bar. Kitty is delighted with her dad's reaction to her being gay, as he seems okay with it.
Tina writes to tell Andy that she isn't going to be moving in with him. Sheila goes to the college and confronts Beth about the affair, but she knows nothing. Eric is annoyed to learn that Joanna was flirting with the man who robbed her.
Dominic calls to say he will be returning soon. Davie tells Mairi that Kitty is gay. Isobel sees Eddie with Louise at the college acting like a couple. Lachie tells Mairi that Davie was right about Kitty and Tina, and she is shocked.
Joanna is still on edge after what happened. Paul is being released from prison today. Lewis hides in Joanna's car, and confronts her while she is with Lucy. He takes her into the woods and attacks her, but Paul comes to her rescue.
Isobel doesn't know whether to tell Sheila about Eddie and what she saw. Eddie packs his bags while Sheila is out in preparation to leave. Isobel speaks to Eddie about his affair. Tom wants to buy sheep again for the farm.
Eddie changed his mind about leaving, so he stays and talks things through with Sheila, although he isn't happy about it. Tony arrests Paul for attacking Lewis while he was threatening Joanna. Morag isn't sure about Tom wanting to buy more sheep.
Sam is holding an estate meeting, and everyone is worried what it's about. Eddie continues to be in a bad mood. Isobel wants to hold a party for the end of her college course. Sam tells everyone there has to be cuts at the Big House.
Eddie sees Louise at the bar, and leaves with her after Andy outs her as being a prostitute. Tom and Lachie stay out all night in a barn and haven't got home yet, while a flock of sheep arrives at Morag's that he bought.
Sam puts the rent up on the estate to nearly double. Sam is causing arguments at the Big House. Sheila gets STD testing. Eddie returns home to pick some things up and Dominic and Sheila throw him out after a fight.
Lachie wants Mairi to forget about the land disagreement. Sam tells Isobel that she isn't funding another theatre production. Davie winds up Lachie and Tom about the women in their lives. Dominic takes an interest in motorbikes.
Eddie is living with Louise. Sheila's HIV test came back negative, but she is still shaken up. Dominic is accepted to university in Glasgow, which cheers them both up. Beth tells Eddie to resign, or else he will be fired.
Lachie and Mairi break up and she moves out after an argument. Joanna is still upset over what happened, and having panic attacks. Louise is still seeing clients without Eddie knowing. Susan is still writing to Isobel, and sending pictures of Jamie.
Joanna goes to the doctor because she isn't coping well, so he gives her some medication, but she decides against it. Sheila confides in Davie about what is going on in her life. Lachie and Mairi are both being stubborn about reconciling.
Sam tells Sheila that she lost money in a timeshare scheme. A family is evicted from the estate, and everyone is angry with Sam for it. Dominic gets drunk in the hotel and makes a scene, and gets taken home. Sheila and Joanna confide in each other.
Sarah wants to go for the cottage that the family were evicted from. Eddie comes to Glendarroch to see Dominic, but he is still angry with him and ends up punching him. Morag finds out that Mairi was right about the land.
Louise tells Eddie that it isn't going to work. Tom and Morag tries to set up Mairi and Lachie again, but it didn't go well. Sarah isn't sure she wants to leave the house because of all the memories. Davie and Sheila are still getting on well.
Sheila spends the night with Davie, and they both had a great time. Joanna and Eric are delighted to hear that Lewis has pleaded guilty for attacking her. Eric learns that he is no longer going to be funded for his theatre from the trust.
Eric is trying to convince Joanna subtly, to tell him to go to Nova Scotia. Lachie and Mairi get back together. Sally tells Dominic about Sheila and Davie, and he is furious with her. Sam walks in on Davie and Sheila kissing, and seems upset by it.
Sam gets drunk and accidently sets the kitchen on fire. Sam is acting desperate in front of Davie and seems to be losing it, as she seems to be jealous of him and Sheila. Dominic and Sheila reconcile after their disagreement over Davie.
Mairi has taken an order for Isobel's shop without her knowing, and she isn't happy when she returns. Ewan may have moved the evicted family into Sarah's old house, but it turns out to be Eddie. Tony and Ewan seem to be fighting for Sarah's affections.
Eddie refuses to leave the house, but Davie is still trying to kick him out. People are turning up for interviews for the volunteer fire service positions in Glendarroch. Davie tells Sheila about Eddie, and she is furious and goes to deal with him.
Sam goes to the house to throw out Eddie, but they end up getting drunk together, and she tells him about Sheila and Davie. Eddie manages to convince Sam to let him stay. Mrs Mack loses her cat, and is frantic with worry.
Morag is practicing for the fire training. A dog is on the loose, and kills some of Toms sheep. Eddie has a viral infection, and Dominic takes care of him. Sam has shut herself in her room, and appears to be ill too.
Everyone is vying for the position of the leader of the volunteer group. Isobel tells Andy she is worried about Sam and her drink problem. Mrs Mack rescues a dog that someone dumps into a river, but it looks like the dog that attacked the sheep.
Joanna isn't impressed with Eric not taking an interest on what is going on at the hotel while he is away. Isobel goes to the Big House and demands to see Sam. Sheila discovers she is pregnant, and is delighted.
Ewan spends the night with Sarah. Isobel finds Sam lying in her bedroom totally passed out. Isobel is angry with everyone for ignoring Sam, and argues with Jockie about it. Morag is made team leader for the firefighters.
Mrs Mack tells Victor her dog smells of farm animals, and one of Toms sheep has been killed again. Sheila goes to the doctor to confirm the pregnancy, but she still hasn't told Davie. Sarah's mother gets knocked down by a car and is in hospital.
Sally and Andy finally get together. Morag tells Tom she doesn't agree with the way he killed the dog. Sarah is still at the hospital with her mother, and Sadie is with Jockie and Effie. Morag tries to apologise for Tom, but it doesn't work.
Tom orders the dog to be dug up and sent away for an autopsy. Kitty tells Andy that Sally only came onto him after a bet, but he doesn't believe her. It was Marys dog that killed Toms sheep, but Victor still tells him he was out of order.
Sally is cooling things with Andy, and he doesn't know why. Victor gets a story put in the paper about the dog, and Tom goes to see a lawyer. Morag is annoyed with Chick for taking liberties with the firefighting equipment and the van.
Andy is upset to see that Sally is dating Paul. Morag is worried when an animal rights group send her and Tom hate mail. The volunteer firefighting group get their first emergency, but Morag doesn't make it in time.
Someone is going round the village scaring the locals. Some of the villagers are acting strangely, and Sarah has been plagued by bad dreams. A strange power has been taking over the men in the village.
Isabel spends the millennium alone mourning Jimmy, while the Pagan celebrations are going on. Sarah is ensnared by the Pagans, and is seduced by one of their men. Davie is tortured by his past.
Sally is upset after what happened the previous night, as Andy ended up raping her. Jockie gets a letter back from the genetics company, saying the can't do anything. Isobel and Mrs Mack get Eddie a computer for his house.
Everyone is annoyed with Sally for accusing Andy of rape. Paul takes out the fire van on a job. Eddie is worried that Dominic is hanging out with Paul too much. Andy threatens Sally again, but this time Sarah hears him.
It is Tom's court case today, and opinion on him is divided in the community. Sarah tells Tony she will testify against Andy, but Sally doesn't want to go to court. Tom is found guilty and fined £3,000.
Morag tells Tom he has to find the money himself. Mrs Mack isn't happy with people being nasty to her about the court case. Joanna finds out that Lewis got twelve years in jail, and she is delighted. Jockie is being off with Sarah.
Andy has disappeared from Glendarroch. Effie lets it slip to Sarah about the fact that Jockie may want a paternity test, and she is furious. There has been a break in at the cash and carry, and it may have been done with equipment from the fire van.
Sarah told Jockie that she doesn't want him anywhere near Sadie. Chick warns Dominic about getting involved with Paul. Victor hasn't told Mrs Mack that he will be moving out, but Isobel lets it slip, and she is devastated.
Sheila returns to the village and word spreads fast. Chick is feeling worse for wear and takes it out on Eddie when he enquires about Lafferty while Joanna plans a surprise welcome home for Eric and Sarah's plans fall flat.
Sheila has returned from her time off, and is worried that Dominic has fallen into a bad crowd. Eric has returned from Canada, and seems distant, but he wants to be an actor. Effie suspects Sheila is pregnant. Mairi tells Davie about Sheila.
Sarah phones the genetics hospital, as she is thinking about getting a paternity test. Tom and Morag are arguing about having to cut back. Sheila gets into a car accident, and needs to be cut from the car. Eric is bored with the hotel.
Everyone is worried about Sheila. Chick tells Sheila he has been using the cutters to take apart old cars, and Morag is furious. Sheila might lose the baby, and is devastated, and Davie is worried too. Eddie goes to visit Sheila.
Kitty is thinking about going back to Edinburgh, but Mairi doesn't think it's a good idea. Sam returns back to Glendarroch after leaving the clinic, and tells Effie and Jockie to remove all the alcohol from the house.
Sam's sponsor arrives to stay at the Big House to keep her off the drink. Mairi doesn't want to be left alone with Lachie when Kitty leaves, but Isobel tells her everyone already thinks they are sleeping together. Sam continues to go to AA meetings.
Sheila has returned from hospital, and goes back to work. Eric receives a letter from Canada with perfume on it, and Joanna is suspicious. Sam tells Sheila she slept with Dominic, and she is furious.
Kitty leaves for Edinburgh. Sarah receives the results of the paternity test, and discovers that Gary is the father of Sadie. Joanna reads a letter that was addressed to Eric, and finds out he slept with someone in Canada, and leaves with Lucy.
Lachie and Mairi spend the night in the same bed for the first time, but it collapses. Sarah goes round to see Tony, but a girl answers the door. Sam doesn't like the fact that Liam is helping other people so much, as well as her.
Eric leaves to look for Joanna, but she arrives back at the hotel and is planning to leave him for good. Liam finds out the mother of his son has cancer, so he leaves. Dominic confronts Sam about telling Sheila, and gives her a drink.
Sarah is jealous of Tony's friend. Eddie offers to design a website for Glendarroch estate, but Sam isn't sure, so she gives him a job cutting down trees. He gives Dominic money to go to university after Sam gives him a loan.
Dominic is leaving to go to university. Mairi and Lachie are back from their mini break, and everyone wants to know what happened between them. Liam returns to tell Sam that he has to nurse his ex-wife while she is dying.
Mairi clears a lot of stuff out of Lachies house to make some space. Effie is worried to learn that Sam didn't spend the night at the Big House. Isobel tells the police that she found Sams shoe beside the loch, and a boat has been reported missing.
A search party has been formed to look for Sam. Mairi finds all the stuff she threw out hidden on the farm. Sally talks to a reporter about Sam. Lachie is annoyed to learn that Mairi threw out all his stuff after he hid it.
Eddie joins the squad of woodcutters. The story comes out in the newspaper, and Sally is feeling guilty about talking to the reporter. Everyone is shocked that Mairi threw out the chair that belonged to Lachies father.
It turns out that Tony and his friend aren't together after all, as she likes Ewan. Mairi goes to get Lachies chair back from an antique shop, and ends up getting arrested for hitting the owner. Sarah tells Sally she can move back in.
Eddie isn't doing too well with his new job, and isn't getting on with his workmates. Mairi is worried she will be jailed for what she did. Eddie gets beaten up by one of the guys after shouting at him.
Chick goes to the antique shop to scare the owner into giving the chair back. Eddie finds out Dan can't read or write, and wants to offer help. Eric is treating a new guest at the hotel very well as he thinks he will get good business off him.
Dan is in an even worse mood after Eddie offers him help. The charges against Mairi are dropped, and she is delighted. Lachie thanks Chick and Paul for what they did to help Mairi. Siobhan is making quite an impression on Sally.
Lachie is after a big trout in the loch. Siobhan still has feelings for Tony, but he doesn't feel the same way. Eric is still annoyed with Joanna for leaving with Lucy. Eddie suggests to his boss that he help Dan with his writing.
Paul thinks Siobhan likes him, and is trying hard to seduce her, even buying new clothes. Siobhan, Sally and Sarah have a girls night in. Lachie finally manages to catch the fish, but lets it go again.
The police find a body in the loch. Everyone in the village is speculating about the body. Eric is annoyed that Lachie caught the fish that his hotel guest was trying to catch. Sheila goes into labour after an argument with Davie.
The body of a man is found in the loch, and it turns out to be Andy Sharpe and he committed suicide. Eddie and Dan are getting on a bit better. Davie tries to talk to Sheila about the baby, but she is being cold toward him.
Dan doesn't want to take any more lessons, as he thinks he is no good. Eddie gives Dan a tape to listen to. Ewan tells Sally he wants Sarah back. The guest that Eric was fawning over, is actually Joannas lawyer.
Effie wants to take more care of Sheila. Siobhan suggests that Sarah learn how to be a mechanic at the garage. Eric is still annoyed at what Joannas lawyer did to him. Sheila asks Effie to be her birthing partner.
Sarah has her first day as a mechanic, and Ewan gives her some overalls as a present. Effie suggests that Davie buy a pram for the baby to show he cares, so she takes him into town. Isobel is being off with everyone that comes into the shop.
Sarah wants to prove Paul wrong at the garage, and make an impression as a mechanic. Sheila didn't want the pram at first, but Effie makes her come around. Eric goes to the bank manager, and learns he is in a lot of trouble.
Isobel goes to the hospital to see a consultant, and get tested. Tony tells Siobhan again that he doesn't have feeling for her. The doctor tells Isobel it most likely isn't cancer, but she is waiting for the results of a biopsy test.
Isobel is anxious waiting for the result of her biopsy. Eric is worried about what he is going to do, as Joanna is asking for half the value of the hotel. Victor tells Eric to ask Siobhan for help. Isobel gets the all-clear from the test.
Siobhan gives Eric a strict business plan to follow, and he doesn't like the fact he has to cook and clean. Tony is annoyed that Sarah is going after Ewan. Tom seems worried about something after Morag tells him about Isobel's scare.
Morag is worried about what is bothering Tom, as he takes the car out for the day. There is a man wandering about Glendarroch estate, and he isn't getting on well with people. Tom goes to the doctor, as he has a lump in his chest.
Joanna's lawyer comes to visit Eric, and is caught trying to record their conversation. Morag is still trying to find out what's wrong with Tom. The English man that has been wandering around the estate, tells Sheila that he is Sam's son.
Mr Findlay tells Eric he will see him in court. Everyone is preparing for an important shinty match. Siobhan tells Tony she is leaving, and Tony seems to be upset by it, but she confides in Sarah that she is pregnant.
Tom continues to neglect his duties on the croft, and Morag doesn't know why. Mrs Mack is helping Eric in the kitchen at the hotel, as well as cleaning. Sheila goes to the lawyers about Nigel, and he tells her to accommodate him at the Big House.
Everyone is annoyed with Mrs Mack being so bossy at the hotel. Jockie can't stand Nigel, and they continue to argue at the Big House. Morag sees a letter addressed to Tom about his doctors visit, and is frantic with worry.
Isobel goes to see Tom and convinces him to go to hospital with Morag. Eric isn't sure that Mrs Macks recipes are appropriate for the hotel. Tom is told he has cancerous cells in his lump, and they are both upset by the news.
Tom is preparing for his operation, and is sorting out his affairs for the croft beforehand. Everyone is wondering what is happening between Morag and Tom. Morag is annoyed with Tom for preparing for the worst, and wants him to fight.
Sarah starts her driving lessons, and Ewan is jealous she is having them with Paul. Effie manages to get Isobel to tell her about Tom, and she doesn't manage to keep it to herself. Ewan asks Sally if there is something between Sarah and Paul.
Ewan asks Sarah out, but she declines. Davie catches Nigel shooting on the estate, and is furious. While Eric is in Edinburgh, he goes to meet Letitia at the theatre. Tom is annoyed with everyone for fussing over him.
Jockie is trying to find a way to get rid of Nigel. Eric was offered a job at the theatre while he was in Edinburgh, but he isn't sure about selling the hotel. Tony tells Sheila that a woman's body has been found fitting Sam's description.
Everyone is sad to discover that Sam was living as a tramp in her final days. Nigel gets caught with weed in his room, and Jockie calls the police. Eric is planning to leave to work in Edinburgh, and leaves Victor in charge of the hotel.
Sheila goes into labour in the middle of the woods, but Davie eventually finds her and ends up delivering the baby. Everyone is impressed with Davie for what he did, but Eddie is upset. Tony asks Sarah to confirm if Siobhan is pregnant.
Sheila takes baby Robbie home from hospital, but Effie is upset she doesn't want to go to Sam's memorial service. Isobel gets a letter from Susan asking if she would like to come to Dundee for three months to look after Jamie.
Tom is having his operation earlier than he first thought, and is nervous. Isobel is planning to leave for Dundee. Sam's will is read out, and the estate is left to Sadie which will be left in trust until she is eighteen.
Davie wants to be involved in his sons life, but Sheila isn't sure. everyone is shocked to learn that Sarah has been left the estate in the will. Davie is run down and trapped under his tractor. Victor is struggling to run the hotel.
Davie is still in hospital in a serious condition. Chick and Paul are preparing for the hill race, and Chick suggests he takes steroids. Tom and Morag are in hospital preparing for his operation. Sheila is worried about Davie.
Mairi isn't getting on too well running the shop. Nigel is trying to get the estate off of Sarah and Sadie, as they get a letter from his lawyers. Tom recovers after his operation. Eddie tells Sheila he still has feelings for her.
Tom returns home after his operation, and is feeling much better. Sarah is trying to figure out what to do to save the estate. Mrs Mack and Victor are falling out over the hotel. Lachie tells Morag and Tom about Davie.
Sally asks Mairi for a job at the shop, as she is worried that she won't be able to pay the rent. Sarah is annoyed that Effie fired Mrs Mack as cleaner, and demands that she apologises. More people are starting to train for the hill race.
Mairi is ill, and Lachie suggests that she gets someone else to look after the shop till she recovers. The boys of the village are feeling competitive about the race, and Tony ends up breaking his foot.
Tom is fed up with Morag keeping him inside all the time, and wants to start work on the farm again. Paul accuses Chick of slipping him some steroids, but got his own back by giving Chick some. The hospital tells Sheila that Davie is out of the coma.
Ewan is helping out in the post office in the shop while Mairi is off sick. Paul tells Eddie that he only pretended he gave Chick steroids. Nigel returns to Glendarroch, and is making plans to challenge Sarah for the estate.
Eddie tells Chick he will get rid of the steroids, but ends up taking some himself. Lachie is helping look after the shop. Chick thinks every woman is attracted to him because of the steroids, but still doesn't know he didn't take any.
Mrs Mack and Lachie are arguing about how the shop should be done. Paul guesses that Chick sold the steroids to Eddie, and he is now using them. Sheila returns from hospital, and tells Effie and Jockie that Davie is much better.
Everyone is annoyed with Nigel and his plans for the estate, and Jockie is still trying to find a way to get rid of him. Paul warns Eddie about taking steroids, as he is lashing out at everyone. Paul injures himself while running.
Chick is thinking of picking someone other than Paul to bet on during the race. Effie tells Jockie about what she saw between Sarah and Paul, and is he is furious, so he tells Ewan. Paul tells Chick that he was faking his injury.
Sarah is still considering her options and has not yet told Tony about her pregnancy. Joanna is enjoying the comforts of the hotel and the attentions of the menfolk of Glendarroch.
Tony, overjoyed at the thought of fathering Sarah’s baby, proclaims his love for her to the entire village. Ewan encourages Lachie to get out and about. Lafferty and Sneddon make their moves on Joanna.
Sneddon’s pursuit of Joanna draws a jealous reaction from Sheila, but his efforts only succeed in pushing Joanna into Lafferty’s arms. Chic is devastated to discovers that Lachie’s new woman friend is none other than his lost love Lily.
Sheila gets the wrong end of the stick when she sees Sneddon and Joanna together. Joanna and Lafferty’s relationship heats up and so does the village gossip. Chic comforts Lachie and Lilly. Effie goes into training.
Word gets around that Joanna has been sleeping with Lafferty. Tony flies of the handle when he finds an abortion leaflet in Sarah’s bag and confronts Dr Clark. Mairi arrives back in town, shocking everyone by acting out of character when she hears about Lachie and Lilly.
Joanna is feeling low, and Sneddon makes his move on her while Lafferty is away. Sheila is upset to see Joanna and Sneddon together. Ewan, Sally, Lafferty, Chic, Effie and Mrs Mack set off on the West Highland Way.
Sheila decides to make amends with Sneddon. Lafferty opens up to Sally about his feelings towards Joanna. Lachie suspects that Mairi has met someone else in France. Tony confides in Dr Clark about Siobhan and the abortion.
Joanna succumbs to Sneddon’s advances in a moment of weakness. Lachie confesses to Tom that he wants Mairi back. The final day of the walk arrives, and the walkers celebrate with a barbecue in Fort William.
Lafferty tries to take up where he left off with Joanna and is hurt and confused when she rebuffs him. Lachie sets out to woo Mairi again after realising he loves her. A young Irishman arrives in Glendarroch and takes Sally’s fancy, but she is suspicious of his reasons for being there.
Lafferty declares his love for Joanna and is heartbroken when she tells him she’s going back to Edinburgh. Lachie connives to get Mairi alone, with help from Tom and Morag. Niall appears to be taking a close interest in Robbie and Sheila, and Sally grows more suspicious. Effie receives a postcard from the man she almost kissed, saying that he is coming to visit. Sheila tells Sneddon to stay away from Joanna, but he gets annoyed.
Lachie is devastated following Mairi’s rejection but, with support from Tom and Morag, he finds his way back into her heart. Ewan's uncle comes to visit Effie, and tries to seduce her, but she is uncomfortable with it. Niall confesses to Sally that he did not arrive in Glendarroch by accident, and that he is searching for his father. Effie tells Jockie about what happened, and he goes to confront Robert.
Mairi moves back in with Lachie, and Tom and Morag are delighted when they hear that they plan to get married. Sheila invites Niall for lunch but they are forced to call Dr Clark when Robbie is taken ill. Effie and Jockie have a huge fight, and tell each other they don't want to live together, so they are ignoring each other in the house. Morag wants to join in and help plan Mairi's wedding.
Jockie and Effie are still being nasty to each other, and he tells Sarah he doesn't want her near Sadie which angers her. Tom asks Lachie to make sure getting married is what he wants. Chic gets Lafferty a new bike. The women of the village attend Mairi’s hen party in the Ardnacraig. Sally confronts Niall about Sneddon and persuades him to stay in Glendarroch. Lachie is determined to have a quiet stag party, but Chic has other plans.
It’s the day of Mairi’s wedding and despite the best-laid plans, things do not run smoothly. Mairi has to round up the pigs in her wedding dress after they run loose around the yard, and ends up getting a lift on the back of Lafferty's bike after Chic's car breaks down. However a special guest makes Mairi’s day. With Sally’s prompting, Sheila makes the connection between Niall and Sneddon. Meanwhile, Mr Spinetti is back and has big plans that could change Glendarroch forever.
