De Fabeltjeskrant was een dagelijks terugkerende korte uitzending juist voor kinderbedtijd op de Nederlandse televisie over de gebeurtenissen in het Grote Dierenbos in Fabeltjesland. Het nieuws werd voorgelezen door Meneer (Jacob) de Uil. Ook in Vlaanderen groeide een hele generatie op onder de vleugels van Meneer de Uil. In 2005 werd het programma in Nederland verkozen tot beste kinderprogramma aller tijden.
Les Quat'z'amis est une émission de télévision française pour la jeunesse diffusée sur Antenne 2 de juillet 1978 à 1984 puis brièvement jusqu'en 1985, dans les programmes de Récré A2. Présentée par Fabrice qui, assisté des trois marionnettes Toucancan (oiseau érudit à plumes rouges), de Belle Belle (une jeune fille élégante et coquette) et de Pousse Moussu (composé de mousses et de plantes, doté d'un zézaiement et de deux dents proéminentes). Les quatre compères discutaient de sujets variés et proposaient aux jeunes téléspectateurs des jeux ludiques et éducatifs portant sur la construction des mots, la musique, ou des expériences amusantes à réaliser à la maison.

The inhabitants of the planet Thundera evacuate just before it is destroyed. They were pursued by a band of mutants. All but one of their escape ships was destroyed. Only a small group of Thunderans (Thundercats) remained. With only half engine power, the group, which was led by Jaga, had to set a course for the nearest planet. Jaga commanded their ship while the other seven were in their stasis tubes. Jaga died on their journey to Third Earth and their ship crashed there. Soon they made friends with various groups in the area and they designed a fortress. Mumm-Ra the centuries-old embodiment of evil, along with the mutants that destroyed the rest of the Thunderans are a constant threat. But Lion-O, the new leader of the Thundercats, with his weapon the "Sword of Omens" will help the Thundercats to have a standing chance.

The title segment, George of the Jungle, is a spoof of the popular Tarzan story. The title character, George (voiced by Bill Scott), is a dim-witted but big-hearted "ape man" who lives in the jungle. He is called upon each episode to save its inhabitants from various threats. In the episode teaser, he is famous for not looking where he is swinging and thus slamming face-first into trees or other obstacles to the tune of, "George, George, George of the Jungle." George's love interest is Ursula (voiced by June Foray), whom George refers to as, "Fella." He has an ape for a friend, appropriately named Ape (voiced by Paul Frees), who is far more intelligent than George. Then there is Shep, George's pet elephant who acts like a lap dog, or as George calls him, "great big peanut-lovin' poochie." Also of note is the Tooky Tooky (or Tookie Tookie) bird famous for his call: "Ah ah ee ee tooky tooky."

Mio Mao, conosciuta anche come Mio Mao, è una serie televisiva in animazione stop motion per bambini ideata negli anni settanta da Francesco Misseri. La prima serie di Mio Mao venne prodotta nel 1974 a Firenze dalla società PMBB di cui Francesco Misseri era tra i soci fondatori. Venne realizzata con la tecnica dell’animazione stop motion della plastilina in 26 episodi da 5 minuti ciascuno e aveva come protagonisti due gattini curiosi, uno rosso e uno bianco, che giocando in giardino incontravano ogni volta animali diversi con i quali fare amicizia. Caratteristica di questa serie, così come di altre create da Francesco Misseri, era l’uso di suoni onomatopeici invece che veri e propri dialoghi, scelta che rendeva il programma immediatamente comprensibile al di là di qualsiasi barriera linguistica.

Půvabný animovaný seriál o KRTEČKOVI, který má hodně přátel a s nimi zažije spoustu dobrodružství .. Postavičku krtka vytvořil Zdeněk Miler ve studiu Krátký film Praha. Animovaný film je dnes obvykle uváděn jako ucelený seriál v televizním pořadu Večerníček, přestože první filmy vznikaly samostatně. První díl z roku 1957 nesl název Jak krtek ke kalhotkám přišel, ve kterém se objevily i další postavičky jako žába, čáp, rákosník, rak, pavouci, ježek a především rostlina len. Další díly přibývaly velmi pozvolna, Krtek a autíčko (1963), Krtek a raketa (1966) a další, celkem 49 dílů. Jednotlivé díly mají délku od cca 5 min až po 29 minut (Krtek ve městě; ve snu a další 4 díly). Po velkém úspěchu animovaných filmů a večerníčků po celém světě vznikla řada dětských knih, kompaktních disků a videokazet s námětem Krtka. Zdeněk Miler údajně postavičku krtka vymyslel v roce 1954 poté, co zakopl o krtinu. Navíc krtka, jako jedno z mála zvířátek, nepoužil ve svých filmech Walt Disney, proto byla postava krtka ve své době originální. Postava krtka téměř nemluví, říká jen nemnoho slov a převážně citoslovce (hele, jé, ach jo…), která pro první díly nadabovaly Millerovy dcery. Výjimkou je první film Jak krtek ke kalhotkám přišel, který je mluvený.

This Filmation cartoon aired on CBS from 1976 to 1980. Unlike the simple-minded man depicted in the movies, this cartoon had an intelligent, well-spoken Tarzan who was accompanied by a monkey sidekick, N'kima. In many ways, this series was the most faithful of all screen-based adaptations of Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan, and featured a number of "lost cities" from the original novels. The rotoscoped animation is based upon the work of Burrough's favorite Tarzan artist, Burne Hogarth.

Silas wurde als Kleinkind an einen Wanderzirkus verkauft. Nun ist er ein Teenager und soll das Säbelschlucken lernen, was ihm aber nicht zusagt. Daher läuft er fort. Tage später beobachtet er den Zirkusdirektor Philip, als er einem blinden Mädchen die Milch stehlen will. Er greift ein, doch die Mutter des Mädchens Maria verkennt die Situation und sperrt Silas in einen Fischkasten. Doch er kann entkommen. Er erzählt den Fischern vom Zirkus und bringt sie auf die Idee, das blinde Mädchen Maria als Wahrsagerin an den Zirkus zu verkaufen. Die enttäuschte Maria versucht Silas zu töten, als er nachts auf einer Flussinsel schläft. Da erkennt Silas zum ersten Mal, dass es Menschen gibt, die noch viel schlechter dran sind als er selbst. Am Markttag kommt er durch eine Wette zu einem schwarzen Pferd und reitet davon. Der Kuhhirte "Bein"-Godik folgt ihm mit einem gestohlenen Pony. Die beiden freunden sich an und versuchen gemeinsam ihren Lebensunterhalt zu bestreiten. Silas versucht sich als Kunstreiter und Kunstpfeifer. Der Winter naht und sie finden Unterschlupf auf dem Dachboden eines Hauses, bei einer Frau, die „die Taube“ genannt wird. Bein-Godik schnitzt aus Treibholz Geschirr, das Silas am Markt verkauft, da die Bewohner des Ortes mit Silas Zirkuskunststücken nichts anzufangen wissen. Die Freunde finden einen Schatz, der aus 40 Silberbarren besteht. Doch dieser scheinbar unermessliche Reichtum, der ihnen ein unbeschwertes Leben bescheren könnte, bringt sie in höchste Gefahr. Die Taube und ihre Kumpanen würden sogar vor einem Mord nicht zurückschrecken, um an das Silber zu kommen. Neuerlich fliehen die Freunde und kommen zu einem abgelegenen Haus am Meer. Dort treffen sie auf das Mädchen Jenny, das nach einer Entführung dort gefangen gehalten wird. Silas und Bein-Godik beschließen gemeinsam mit Jenny ihre Flucht fortzusetzen. The product of three years' development, 3-2-1 Contact (B. 1980 D. 1988) stands as the third-longest-running series ever produced by the Children's Television Workshop (as it was then called). Complementing the series for middle-school students and teachers alike was 3-2-1 Contact magazine, edited by Jonathan Rosenbloom. In the first season of 3-2-1 Contact, three hosts Lisa, Marc, and Trini met at a regular set, called the "workshop," to discuss their scientific adventures. Marie-Thérèse L'Huillier y reste autour des enfants jusqu'en 1986, et est remplacée par un comédien Philippe Galant, également sourd.
