Einen vollen Terminplan und ein kleines Kind - Amy und Ty kämpfen sich durch ihren stressigen Alltag. Vor allem Tys Verpflichtungen außer Haus setzen der jungen Familie zu. Die beste Lösung scheint, dass Ty und Amy langfristig auf Heartland zusammenarbeiten. Doch ist das wirklich der beste Weg? Denn schon bahnen sich die ersten Probleme an, die das Vertrauensverhältnis zwischen den beiden auf eine harte Probe stellen. Dann taucht auch noch völlig unvermittelt ein unbekanntes Gesicht auf, und Amy und Ty stehen vor einer Entscheidung, die ihr ganzes Leben verändern könnte. Zwischenzeitlich stellt Georgie eine neue Trainerin ein und gerät immer mehr unter Leistungsdruck. Lou muss sich nun entscheiden: Expansion oder nicht - wird sie sich zugunsten der Familie entscheiden? Auch Jack und Lisa sind mit schwerwiegenden Entscheidungen konfrontiert, als Jack eine schreckliche Nachricht erhält... Wie steht es um die Zukunft der Familie und auch um Heartland?

With a busy schedule and a small child, Amy and Ty struggle through their stressful everyday lives. Ty's obligations outside the home are particularly hard on the young family. The best solution seems to be for Ty and Amy to work together on Heartland long-term. But is that really the best way? The first problems are already looming, which will put the relationship of trust between the two to the test. Then, completely unexpectedly, an unfamiliar face appears and Amy and Ty are faced with a decision that could change their entire lives. In the meantime, Georgie hires a new trainer and comes under increasing pressure to perform. Lou now has to decide: expansion or not - will she choose in favor of the family? Jack and Lisa are also faced with difficult decisions when Jack receives terrible news... What about the future of the family and also Heartland?
