The following is a list of the various media from the Scooby-Doo franchise which includes series, films and specials.
The first incarnation of what has become a franchise-of-sorts, Scooby-Doo is a large, loveable but cowardly Great Dane who hangs around four California high school students (Fred, Velma, Daphne and Shaggy). The four teen-agers are in constant search of mysteries and adventures, driving around in a bright green van known as the Mystery Machine. Many of the group's adventures involve villians who take on supernatural disguises (ghosts and monsters); the villians' activities usually involve blackmail, theft, fraud and other forms of corruption.
Following a successful run of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?, The New Scooby-Doo Movies was the first of many reincarnations of the lovable talking hound's show. To boost the already increasing popularity of the series, each episode of The New Scooby Doo Movies featured a guest star -- ranging from celebrities like Sonny and Cher and Monkees frontman Davy Jones to characters from other Hanna/Barbara cartoons like Josie and the Pussycats and Speed Buggy. The format basically stayed the same -- the most notable change being that each episode doubled in size from a thirty minute episode to sixty minutes. Scooby and the gang still found themselves foiling the bad guys in rubber masks like in the original series, but this time around the guest stars would help out and be another source of comedic hijinks. This series ran for two seasons with a total of 24 episodes and has had a long life in syndication. There is a lot of confusion surrounding the official titles of the episodes, whic

Scooby and Shaggy are filming an episode of their cartoon as they are running from "The Crabby Creature of Creepy Crag." They show the president of a network, C.J., a pilot film called ''How the West Was Won (TV series)'', where Sheriff Scooby and Deputy Shaggy undergo the ornery Jesse Rotten. C.J. believes the film is a joke, and throws Shaggy and Scooby out, laughing. After the gang finds out Scooby is leaving the show, they protest while Shaggy tells how Scooby will become famous.
The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! is a package show produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions in 1980 for ABC Saturday mornings. The program contained segments from Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo and Richie Rich. The Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo shorts represents the sixth show in which Scooby-Doo appears. The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo was about the adventures of Scooby Doo, Shaggy Rogers, Daphne Blake, and Scrappy-Doo chasing after more mysteries. Now they are joined by a magnificent warlock called Vincent Van Ghoul, who is a cartoon cariature of Vincent Price (who also provided the voice), and a mischievous boy named Flim-Flam. Together they have to catch 13 ghosts and put them in a magical "Chest of Demons" that Scooby and Shaggy were tricked into opening by two sneaky ghosts named Weerd and Bogel. This was the last cartoon series that the original Scooby-Doo gang (minus Fred and Velma) appeared in for nearly 20 years. In 1988, the entire gang returned to TV as children in A Pup Named Scooby Doo, but they wouldn't resurface again weekly in their adult form until 2002 in What's New Scooby-Doo?.

Before he can fully convince them, he receives a call from the police chief, notifying him that a circus train has derailed and a circus ape has escaped. Leaving Shaggy, Scooby and Scrappy, they continue driving, but upon their arrival they are pursued by a headless horseman, a ghost wolf and by the alleged ghost of the Colonel who taunts them, telling them to leave or else they will face the consequences.
Every year, all of the classic Hollywood monsters (consisting of Frankenstein's monster, his wife Bride of Frankenstein, a Imhotep, the Witch Sisters, Bone Jangles the Skeleton (undead), Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Swamp Thing, and Dragonfly) gather at Count Dracula's castle in Transylvania for the "Monster Road Rally", an ultimate road race similar to Wacky Races (1968 TV series), awarding the winner with the "Monster of the Year" award as well as many other prizes only monsters would enjoy (and one prize — a trip to Hawaii — that none of the monsters want). This year, however, Dracula receives a postcard from the Wolfman stating that he has retired to Florida and will not be participating.
For more than a decade, it looked as if this would be the final weekly Scooby Doo series. Following the unsuccessful run of The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo, the creators went back to the drawing board and turned the original "Mystery Inc." characters into small children, who now worked under the title of "The Scooby Doo Detective Agency." Gone were the days of a pup named Scrappy-Doo, this series ushered in the age of a pup named Scooby-Doo! Although they would have been this age in the '50s or '60s, the kids were far more like kids of the '80s, with computers, skateboards, and gadgets that were popularized far later. As in the original series, the villains of this series were always bad guys in rubber masks, a concept that they had gotten away from when Scrappy entered the show and the ghosts became real. More cartoonish than the rest of the shows, the characters seemed to nod back to the old Warner Bros. cartoons -- complete with bugging eyes, gaping jaws, and a myriad of hijinks an

Other residents of the school are a floating white hand; an octopus, who is the school's butler; Legs, a spider that helps with the upcoming volleyball match; Miss Grimwood, the headmistress; and her pet dragon Matches (who dislikes Scooby at first, but later becomes friends, and has a strong friendship with Scrappy). Scooby-Doo and the gang decide to record one of their mysteries. This time, they're going out into the woods to investigate a haunting there. This ghost is going to be a bad guy in a mask, right? Wrong. So. Very. Wrong.
The film takes place in Australia, where the "Vampire Rock Music Festival" is being set up near Vampire Rock, a rock formation shaped like a vampire head. There is a legend of a vampire named the Yowie Yahoo, who lives in the rock. Many people are excited for the event, but some don't think it should take place because it would anger the Yowie Yahoo. One such person is Malcolm Illiwara, even though his grandson Daniel is the manager of the contest. One night, as Malcolm and Daniel watch a sure-to-win performer named Matt Marvelous, the Yowie Yahoo appears. The Yowie Yahoo and its three vampire minions capture Matt Marvelous and take him away. Everyone is scared, and Malcolm blames the contest for what happened.
