To prove to his Ma that he’s responsible enough to move into a nest of his own, Ant’ney sets out to safely return a lost egg. But after the egg hatches before Ant’ney returns it and the alligator inside mistakes Ant’ney for his parent, Ant’ney must find the best home for his newest responsibility. He ultimately learns that sometimes being responsible means making tough decisions and thinking on your feet (or claws).
Anthony souhaite quitter le nid familial pour s'installer à Central Park dans son propre nid. Sa mère s'y oppose, ne le trouvant pas suffisamment responsable pour vivre seul. Anthony va essayer de lui prouver le contraire en prenant soin d'un oeuf tombé d'un camion en ville.
Antony will seiner Mutter beweisen, dass er schon richtig groß und sehr verantwortungsvoll ist. Als Beweis, will er ein verlorenes Ei sicher in sein Nest zurückbringen. Bevor er dort ankommt, schlüpft aus dem Ei allerdings ein kleiner Alligator! Nun muss Antony schnell ein geeignetes Zuhause für das junge Reptil finden. Dabei lernt er, dass „Verantwortung“ auch heißt, mutig zu sein und kluge Entscheidungen zu treffen.
