La principessa Beatilde fa visita al cugino Azzurro. Bisogna rispettare il protocollo: al rinfresco in suo onore potranno partecipare solo principi e principesse. Ma Pinocchio e Lumignolo troveranno il modo di unirsi a loro.
Pinoc et Lumignon s'incrustent dans une fête chez Prince, bien décidés à prouver qu'ils ont assez de manières pour frayer dans le beau monde. Mais ils découvrent une réception guindée et pas drôle du tout autour d'une princesse coincée et revêche (Béathilde)... Démasqués par Volpek qui les trahit devant Prince et Béathilde, outrée par la supercherie, les deux héros pourraient bien rendre la Princesse un plus sympathique.
Prinzessin Betilda kommt zu Besuch ins Schloss. Als Sohn des Bürgermeisters wird Volpek eingeladen, aber ansonsten nur Adel. Pinocchio und Luzio verkleiden sich prompt als Graf und Marquis. Sie behaupten, dass sie aus einem entfernten Königreich kommen und bringen das höfische Protokoll gehörig durcheinander. Volpek versucht die beiden zu enttarnen, doch dabei schneidet er sich ins eigene Fleisch. Betilda ist begeistert von den witzigen „Adligen“.
Prinses Betilda komt het kasteel bezoeken. Als zoon van de burgemeester is Volpek uitgenodigd, maar verder alleen edellieden. Pinokkio en Luzio verkleden zich als een graaf en een markies. Ze beweren uit een ver koninkrijk te komen en verstoren het hofprotocol ernstig. Volpek probeert hen te ontmaskeren, maar onderbreekt zichzelf daarbij. Betilda is gecharmeerd van de geestige "edellieden".
Princess Betilda comes to visit the castle. As the mayor's son, Volpek is invited, but otherwise only noblemen. Pinocchio and Luzio disguise themselves as a count and a marquis. They claim to be from a distant kingdom and seriously disrupt court protocol. Volpek tries to expose them, but in doing so, he cuts himself off. Betilda is enchanted by the witty "noblemen."
