Faith, still in a coma in the hospital, is dreaming of being pursued by Buffy. Riley, partially recovered from his encounter with Adam leaves the Initiative infirmary and joins up with Buffy. While Buffy and gang plot how to go after Adam, Buffy finds out that Faith has awoken. Faith wants revenge and confronts Buffy. A message from the Mayor and a mysterious device come to Faith through a friend of the Mayor's (a demon who Faith kills). Later Faith goes after Joyce in her own home and of course Buffy arrives to save the day. Faith uses the device with unknown powers before Buffy strikes her down.

Riley sai do hospital da Iniciativa e decide ajudar Buffy, e passa a agir como agente duplo. Faith encontra Buffy na universidade e elas acabam lutando. Mas quando a polícia chega, Faith foge. Ela recebe um misterioso objeto deixado pelo prefeito. Faith vai até a casa de Buffy e faz sua mãe de refém, e tenta convencê-la de que Buffy não se importa mais com ela. Buffy chega, e elas começam a lutar. Faith usa o objeto deixado pelo prefeito e algo estranho acontece.
Faith despierta del coma en el que la dejó Buffy y escapa del hospital. Va a casa de Buffy buscando venganza, y allí tiene lugar una pelea con un aparato mágico, regalo del Alcalde para Faith.
