In episode one there's a battle between two snakes as Rutledge Wood and Tanner Foust give the soon to be replaced Dodge Viper SRT a fitting send off by pitting it against a Cobra attack helicopter through the streets of Griffin, Georgia. Adam Ferrara, Rutledge Wood and Tanner Foust settle which is the best Lamborghini ever, in a 180 mile an hour desert drag race. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin takes to the Top Gear test track.
Tanner races his favorite cut price sports car against two extreme skiers down a mountain. Rutledge finds out if Aston Martin has solved a horsepower problem in the new Vantage model and Adam and Rutledge try to beat professional drift champion Tanner Foust in a drifting competition by cheating. Actor Dominic Monahan takes to the Top Gear test track.
The hosts each choose a car that has at some point earned the title of "most dangerous car in the country" and try to restore its reputation in a series of crazy challenges ending in a demolition derby. And Rutledge tries to teach Adam that it's possible to drive a car without breaking it by getting him behind the wheel of one of the quickest, most dangerous vehicles around.
The early pioneers and settlers crossed the Rockies in covered wagons, braving tough weather and harsh terrain. So how would modern day covered wagons cope with the same journey, carrying the same things and having to cross the same rivers and mountains? Rutledge, Adam and Tanner decide to find out, and set out to conquer the Rockies in soccer-mom vans.
We find out what goes on in Rut's head as he takes control of the show and gets to do whatever he wants. In the process he enters a championship race and almost kills himself, becomes an inventor and almost kills Adam, and tries it out as a designated driver on the late night streets of San Francisco and almost kills them both.
The hosts buy each other what they think is the worst car in the country and set themselves a challenge--whoever can make the car they've been given coolest and sell for most money at an auction at the end of the journey wins. Tanner travels to England to find out just how fast a brand new supercar--with no official top speed--can go.

The winner gets to race the fastest Police Car in the country -- the Corvette ZO6 -- in an action film style chase through the Long Beach docks as he tries to catch a "perp" riding the ultimate escape vehicle.
Small cars work in the rest of the world but will they ever work here? The guys try to answer the question and travel to Louisiana to take them out of their natural home on the narrow city streets of New Orleans and deep into Cajun Country where they have to hunt and survive alongside the locals. Whoever did the worst in their car suffers the humiliation of having to drive the world's smallest car for a day in their home town.
Could you own a classic car and not know it? The guys each get a car that they think is seriously undervalued and set out to rehabilitate its image before creating a live commercial in San Diego and attempting to make money on it. The two losers have to entertain two celebrities in a crazy race in equally crazy vehicles, and it gets out of control fast.
The guys head to rural California and attempt to help a farmer in one of the biggest tractors on the market. It quickly descends into chaos as they try to transport livestock and heavy equipment and complete farm chores. We then review the fastest 'tractor' of them all – the new Lamborghini Aventador – and see how its claims stack up in a race against a crop dusting plane.
The guys find the same model cars they drove in college and then head south of the border on an epic spring break road trip through Mexico to determine whose ride is the best college car. They tackle the tough streets of Tijuana and the treacherous mountain trails of the Baja Peninsula on their journey to reach the party town of San Felipe on the Sea of Cortez. The winner gets to review the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse--the fastest and most expensive production car in the world.
Being a taxi driver always ranks among the most challenging jobs in the country, so the guys head to Las Vegas on a quest to create the ultimate taxi, aiming to keep both driver and passengers happy. After getting some experience riding along with real cabbies, they reveal their creations, put them through a series of tests and then hit the Vegas strip to see who can get the most tips. Then we review the newest supercar to come out of the UK--the McLaren MP4-12C, and see how it stacks up against a good old American NASCAR Cup car.

Once there they test and modify three classic American cars and then stage a drag race, in the process becoming the first Americans to legally race in the country in 50 years.
