KANAEシステムは、かつてコウキとアスミの母・香苗が設計したAIがベースとなっていた。
過去、そのAIを搭載した車がゼロスと黒葛川を巻き込んで事故を起こしてしまう。そして、AIの判断でゼロスが被害に遭い、その後遺症で失読症となってしまった。
問題を解決するために頭を悩ませる香苗であったが、システムには原理的に解決できない問題があるかもしれないと諭される。加えて、ゼロスがグラフィティに目覚めたことを聞き、開発を諦めることに。
時は流れ、順調に発展してゆくかに見えた24区だが、香苗の死をきっかけに大きく運命が動き出す。
The KANAE system was based on artificial intelligence that was developed by Kanae, who was Koki and Asumi's mother. In the past, the same AI was installed on a vehicle that got into an accident leaving 0th and Tsuzuragawa injured. 0th is suffering from the after effects of this accident caused by the faulty judgment of the AI, and has developed dyslexia. Kanae racks her brains to come up with a solution, but is told that there is a fundamental flaw in her system. After hearing that 0th has gotten into graffiti, she gives up on development. The 24th Ward has been developing steadily, but after Kanae's death, the fate of the city changes drastically.

KANAE 시스템은 예전에 코우키와 아스미의 어머니인 카나에가 설계한 AI를 베이스로 만들어졌다. 과거, 그 AI를 탑재한 자동차가 사고를 일으켰고 거기에 제로스와 츠즈라가와가 휘말렸다. 그리고 AI의 판단으로 제로스가 피해를 입고 그 후유증으로 실독증 상태가 되었다. 문제를 해결하기 위해 머리를 감싸 쥐고 고민하는 카나에였지만, 시스템에는 근본적으로 해결이 불가능한 문제가 있을지도 모른다는 것을 깨닫는다. 그리고 제로스가 그라피티를 시작했다는 소식을 듣고 개발을 그만두기로 한다. 시간은 흘러, 순조롭게 발전해가는 것처럼 보였던 24구였지만, 카나에의 죽음을 계기로 운명이 크게 움직이기 시작하는데.
El sistema KANAE se basó en una IA diseñada por la madre de Kouki y Asumi, Kanae. En el pasado, un automóvil equipado con esa IA provocó un accidente que involucró a Zeros y Kurokuzukawa. Luego, según el juicio de la IA, Zeros sufrió daños y, como resultado, se convirtió en disléxico. Kanae se devana los sesos para resolver el problema, pero le dicen que puede haber problemas en el sistema que no pueden resolverse en principio. Además, cuando escuché que Zeros había despertado al graffiti, decidí renunciar al desarrollo.
