Wie enttäuscht ist James, als der dicke Kontrolleur verkündet, dass Edward die Poster-Lok sein wird. Doch plötzlich ist James Ehrgeiz geweckt. Er will sich und allen anderen beweisen, dass er die ideale Poster-Lok ist...
A Railway Poster is to be produced, and the Fat Controller needs an engine to be the centre of it – and that engine is decided to be Edward. James is most jealous of Edward when he learns of the news. He wanted to be the engine on that poster. So James decides to try and prove to the Fat Controller that it should be him, and not Edward, who gets the gig.
Edek ma mieć zdjęcie na plakacie. Kuba jest zazdrosny. Inne lokomotywy mówią mu czemu Edek, a nie on trafił na plakat. Kuba postanawia robić wszystko tak jak Edek. Przez jego zachowanie dochodzi do wypadku. Cylinder Edka zostaje uszkodzony przez co ten nie może przewieżć dzieci. Kuba postanawia pchać Edka, aby ten mógł wykonać swoje zadanie.
