Thomas darf wichtige Besucher im Hafen von Brendham abholen und ihnen dann die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel zeigen. Thomas ist mächtig stolz auf diese Aufgabe. Doch im Hafen trifft er auf Gordon. Und die große Lok fängt gleich an, Thomas zu ärgern. So behauptet Gordon, dass er eigentlich den Gästen die Sehenswürdigkeiten zeigen müsste, weil er doch viel schneller ist als Thomas. Das will Thomas nicht auf sich sitzen lassen. Um Zeit zu sparen, dampft er rasant davon. Leider hat er in der Eile einige Fahrgäste am Hafen stehen gelassen...
Thomas puffs wildly from stop to stop, leaving all the holidaymakers behind, to try and prove he can be speedy too, upon Gordon saying he would be able to do the run much quicker. Bertie the Bus observes the stranded passengers, and takes it in his stride to collect them all and get them to Thomas before it’s too late.
Tomek ma pokazać turystom wyspę. Gabryś mówi mu, że nie uda mu się jednego dnia pokazać gościom całej wyspy. Tomek postanawia udowodnić mu, że może to zrobić. Bardzo się spieszy przez co w każdym miejscu zostawia kolejnych gości. Tomek uświadamia sobie co zrobił dopiero po stotkaniu z Bercią. Postanawia zabrać gości nad morze i stwierdza, że lepiej jest zwiedzić jedno miejsce bardzo dokładnie.
