Debido a los grandes poderes del antiguo dragón, los magos se retiran del campo de batalla. Al otro día las cuatro grandes naciones deciden trasladarse hasta Tristain y unir fuerzas para combatir a este enemigo que al parecer es invencible. Saito, al saber que no cuenta con Derflinger, se pone muy triste aunque no decaen sus fuerzas para seguir luchando en el mundo de Louise.
