Jeb und Carrie Morton haben von Boss Hogg ein Stück Farmland ungesehen gekauft. Als sie das Land in Augenschein nehmen, müssen sie feststellen, daß sie betrogen wurden, das Land ist wertloses Sumpfland. Coy und Vance stehlen eine Kopie des Vertrages zwischen den Mortons und Boss Hogg, finden aber keine Möglichkeit, den Vertrag für ungültig erklären zu lassen. Also denken sie sich einen Trick aus, mit dem sie Boss dazu bringen, das Land zurückzukaufen: Sie täuschen einen Goldfund vor, und tauchen im Boar's Nest wie Millionäre gekleidet auf...
Boss Hogg swindles newlyweds Jeb and Carrie Morton into buying a worthless piece of land next to the Duke Farm. So the Dukes try and help them by scamming Boss by making it look like they've found gold on their property and the Morton's property and struck it rich so that Boss will buy back the land.
