Zalin pobeg v Ljubljano zaostri družinske odnose, ki so že tako napeti. Zala se po sporu s fantom v Ljubljani zateče k babi Olgi, ki se hčeri, zdravnici Maji, neprestano vpleta v družino. Maja nekaj utehe najde v svojem delu, kjer počasi odkriva način, kako se približati svojim pacientom, med drugim tudi župniku Nacetu, hkrati pa svoje vedno večje težave zaupa prijateljici Ani. Križajevi niso edini, ki se srečujejo s težavami, tudi Irena in sestra Cvetka se znajdeta v precepu.
Zala’s escape to Ljubljana intensifies already strained family relationships. After a fight with her boyfriend in the city, Zala seeks refuge with her grandmother Olga, who constantly meddles in the family affairs of her daughter, doctor Maja. Maja finds some solace in her work, gradually discovering ways to connect with her patients—including the local priest Nace—while confiding her growing troubles to her friend Ana.
The Križaj family aren’t the only ones facing challenges: Irena and nurse Cvetka also find themselves at a crossroads.
