Am Hafen von Lenos erfahren Holo und Lawrence mehr über die angespannte Stimmung in der Stadt. Im Wirtshaus und durch die Händlerin Eve erhält Lawrence zudem Informationen, die ihn einem Treffen mit Rigolo womöglich näherbringen.
Holo and Lawrence visit the port in Renos, where they sit down for a meal. Holo uses her sharp senses and informs Lawrence that foreign fur merchants are unable to sell their wares, resulting in some unrest. However, she becomes inebriated from the meal and has to rest. Lawrence, meanwhile, visits a local bar to gather information and learns that the entire town is on edge due to some issues with the fur trade. After dinner, Lawrence goes to talk with the innkeeper but is interrupted by the arrival of the mysterious cloaked stranger, who introduces herself as Eve Bolan. She and Lawrence briefly chat, and she tells him that they should chat further if their interests coincide.

情報収集の為に町へ出たロレンスは酒場の看板娘から興味深い話を聞きだす。市壁の外で屯していたのは毛皮を買い付ける商人たちで、50人会議の決定如何では彼らの取り引きが制限されるという。真相を知るには50人会議の書記であるリゴロに接触するのが一番早いのだが、会議が紛糾する中、それも難しい。すると、同じ宿にいたエーブと名乗る女商人が、リゴロを紹介すると言ってロレンスに近づいてきた。

在旅館裡認識的商人伊弗的介紹下，羅倫斯與赫蘿前往里戈羅的住處拜訪。當他們見到里戈羅的時候，發現他給人的印象跟伊弗所形容的完全不同，是個有著柔和笑容的男子。里戈羅不但將五十人會議已經結束的消息告訴羅倫斯，同時也一口答應了赫蘿想將古老傳說的相關書籍借回去看的要求…
Holo y Lawrence visitan el puerto de Renos, donde se sientan a comer. Holo usa sus agudos sentidos e informa a Lawrence que los comerciantes de pieles extranjeros no pueden vender sus productos, lo que genera algunos disturbios. Sin embargo, se emborracha por la comida y tiene que descansar. Mientras tanto, Lawrence visita un bar local para recopilar información y se entera de que toda la ciudad está nerviosa debido a algunos problemas con el comercio de pieles. Después de la cena, Lawrence va a hablar con el posadero, pero es interrumpido por la llegada del misterioso extraño encapuchado, que se presenta como Eve Bolan. Ella y Lawrence conversan brevemente, y ella le dice que deberían conversar más si sus intereses coinciden.
