Eine Witwe, die das Hotel ihres Mannes verkaufen will, eine Tochter, die strikt dagegen ist und ein Toter im Wald – ein scheinbarer Routinefall, der jedoch nach und nach Nina Pokornys dunkles Geheimnis ans Licht bringt, denn er Kontaktmann der Witwe führt Korisleitner direkt zu jenem letzten Fall in Wien, der scheinbar für Ninas Versetzung nach Kitzbühel verantwortlich war. Lukas muss zähneknirschend eingestehen, dass Kroisleitners Skepsis Nina gegenüber durchaus angebracht war. Als Nina schließlich von ihrer Vergangenheit in Person des Waffenhändlers Max Bruckner eingeholt wird und es auch noch so aussieht, als hätte sie mit dem Toten im Wald zu tun, stellt sich für das Team der SOKO Kitzbühel die Vertrauensfrage.
