Despite losing against Gym Leader Ryme in Montenevera, Roy is determined not to let it get him down. Nemona suggests a round of Hyper Training to increase Fuecoco’s speed and power before a rematch. Then, Roy recalls how his love of singing began when his parents shared a song with him on their family boat. He realizes what he needs to do to win, and he and Fuecoco continue training with Nemona as Liko and Dot return to town. Finally, Roy returns to Ryme’s stage, and she accepts his rematch challenge.
