Liko, Roy, and Dot arrive in Montenevera for Roy’s Tera Training usage test against Gym Leader Ryme. But Ryme’s not at the Gym, and the three Trainers are directed outside to a stage where a concert is happening soon. Eventually, Roy calls out to try to find Ryme, and he gets a response—but it’s from announcer MC Sledge, who wants to battle Roy to get the crowd excited for the main event. After using their song to get in sync, Roy and Fuecoco win. Then, Ryme takes the stage, and she agrees to battle Roy—but only after facing off in a rap battle!
