The Bryans say goodbye to friends and family in Montreal and begin their journey downstream from Milk River, Alberta to New Orleans. Bryan Wallwork gets injured 2 days into the journey
The Paddling Bryans decide to take a day off from paddling to explore the scenery. They hike up a mountain to get a birds eye view of the river they are traveling and get the creeps while investigating an abandoned farmhouse.
The guys reach the Canadian-U.S. border at Montana and are stopped by the U.S. Border Patrol
The guys reach their first big portage and must carry their canoe and 800 pounds of equipment over land to avoid river obstacles.
The guys reach North Dakota but the river is dried up. They now have to drag the canoe for two days from muddy ponds to dried up creeks. Morale is low and both of them are ready to give up but they keep going in hopes of reaching Lake Sakakawea.
The Bryans head towards Missouri but the extreme cold and poor living conditions take a toll on the boys. They find and attempt to eat a dead, floating duck.
The guys arrive in Glasgow, Missouri and decide to stay for a College Basketball game. They have way too much fun and one ends up in handcuffs.
As the Paddling Bryans approach St Louis, Missouri, the river completely freezes up around them. They are now in a life and death situation and are unsure if the journey can continue.
The Bryans arrive in St Louis, Missouri and make a scheduled stop to have a look at the famous arch. They also hang with a rap group along the shores of the Missouri river.
The Paddling Bryans finally hit the "Mighty" Mississippi river and get excited to shed their cold weather "Monkey suits'. They soon realize just how dangerous the Mississippi river can be.
The weather turns cold again and the boys leave Memphis, Tennessee in search of warmer temperatures. They weave their way around huge barges and head for the historic and picturesque town of Natchez, Mississippi.
The guys are now faced with the possibility of not reaching New Orleans on time. There is no time to waste and the trip now becomes a mad dash to the finish line.
The Paddling Bryans are at it again. This time it's a 2,330 km journey down the Colorado river, all the way down to the border of Mexico. They’ll have to traverse Lake Powell to the dangerous Grand Canyon to get there. But is the journey in jeopardy before they even hit the water?
The Bryans get a taste of what's to come along the Colorado River. They must maneuver down class III rapids in their 20-foot touring canoe without flipping over and loosing all their supplies. And while on a "beer" run, they discover a Ghost Town.
The boys arrive at the second largest reservoir in the United States, Lake Powell, a truly breathtaking sight. However, strong headwinds and severe heat threaten to cut the adventure short before it barely begins.
The Paddling Bryans finally hit Lake Powell, Utah. Bryan Wallwork quickly realizes that doing this trip alone would be an impossible task as he gets in over his head.
The boys spend some time sight seeing on Lake Powell before a huge portage. A local park ranger gives them some bad news about the Grand Canyon.
The Bryans figure "if you can't beat ‘em, you may as well join ‘em" and catch a private plane ride to the world famous Bar 10 Ranch overlooking the Grand Canyon.
The Paddling Bryans get back on the river and are now faced with a quickly approaching deadline. They have to run rapids and push against headwinds to reach Lake Mead, Nevada on time to face the press.
Still fighting against strong headwinds along the Colorado River, the Bryans decide that canoeing at night may be the way to go. This proves to be both challenging and life threatening.
As the boys make up some distance along the Colorado River, it is becoming apparent that they must share the water with many other watercrafts. To take a rest from the traffic they pull over and check out some of the many casinos along the riverbanks.
The Paddling Bryans reach Lake Havasu, Arizona and make their way to The world famous London Bridge which was transported to Lake Havasu City brick by brick from London, England and re-built over the Colorado river. Then the Bryans run into an old friend they met on their previous adventure. The odds of this happening are unfathomable since she is from 1,200 miles away.
The Bryans begin a portage around Imperial Dam in California and are hit with some bad luck. They are now faced with the possibility that they will never reach the Mexican border and that their trip may come to an abrupt end.
The Paddling Bryans get closer and closer to Mexico, they can practically taste the Tequila.
The boys run into an old friend on Arizona's famous Lake Havasu.
