Following Shion's mother's instruction, Shion and Nezumi pays a visit to Rikiga, an old friend of hers. Rikiga offers himself to take care of Shion, but Shion himself gets angry on him when he asks Nezumi to work for him as a male prostitute and leaves. While cleaning Inukashi's dogs, Shion is inquired by her about his relationship with Nezumi, and when an angry Nezumi appears before him, she realizes he became attached to Shion. Believing Nezumi became soft because of Shion, Inukashi attacks Nezumi with her dogs, but their fight is interrupted when Shion arrives. Shion confesses to Nezumi that despite caring for his mother, he decides to live in the west district with him and has one of Nezumi's rats send a farewell message to his mother.
In seguito alle istruzioni della madre, Shion e Nezumi fanno visita alla Rikiga, un suo vecchio amico. Rikiga si offre di prendersi cura di Shion, ma il ragazzo perde il controllo quando chiede Nezumi di prostituirsi per lui. Intanto Inukashi capisce che Nezumi si è affezionato a Shion e per questo motivo si convince che si sta rammollendo. Per questo motivo lo attacca con i suoi cani, ma la loro lotta si interrompe con l'arrivo Shion, che comunica a Nezumi di aver deciso di rimanere a vivere lì.
火藍から渡されたメモの意味を探るため、元ラッチビル新聞の記者だった男の元を訪ねる事にした紫苑とネズミ。NO.6にいた頃は想像もつかなかった程の、殺伐とした壁の外の街の情景に戸惑いつつも、なんとか目的の男・力河と出会えた紫苑たちだったが、かつてNO.6の謎を探って活躍していたという力河は、NO.6の高官達へ女を斡旋して金を稼ぐという荒んだ生活を送っていた。
Suivant les instructions de la mère de Shion, Shion et Nezumi rendent visite à Rikiga, un vieil ami à elle. Rikiga se propose alors de s'occuper de Shion.
Shion y Mouse deciden visitar al hombre que era un ex reportero del periódico Latchville para averiguar el significado del memo que le dio Hijiran. Cuando estaba en NO.6, estaba confundido por el paisaje de la ciudad fuera del muro sacrificado que no podía imaginar, pero Shien y otros que lograron conocer a Rikugawa, el hombre de propósito, estuvieron una vez en NO.6.
بعد تعليمات والدة سيون، يقوم سيون ونيزومي بزيارة إلى ريكيغا، وهو صديق قديم لوالدة سيون. يعرض ريكيغا رعاية سيون، لكن يغضب سيون منه عندما يطلب من نيزومي أن يعمل لديه كعاهرة ويغادر.
