The seventh season of the National Heads-Up Poker Championship was filmed in 2011 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. Some of poker's best players and brightest stars were part of the 64-entrant field, and included previous champions Phil Hellmuth, Chris Ferguson, and Huck Seed. Also in the field are WSOP champions Doyle Brunson, Chris Moneymaker, Carlos Mortensen, Scotty Nguyen, Jonathan Duhamel, Joe Hachem, Peter Eastgate, and Greg Raymer, alongside poker stars Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Dan Cates, Erik Seidel, Antonio Esfandiari, Mike Matusow, Tom Dwan, Phil Laak, Seinfeld's Jason Alexander, and NFL running back Emmitt Smith.
