Amate rencontre un garçon, Shuji, qui se révèle être le pilote du Gundam Rouge. Incapable d'oublier les lumières du cosmos qu'elle a vues avec lui, elle lui suggère de former une équipe de Mav et de disputer des Batailles de clans. Son pseudonyme de pilote sera... Machu.
