In an effort to protect the taste of the long-established Hatsune Sushi restaurant, Yoichi and Konishi take on a conveyor-belt sushi competition set up by Mouri of the Ajishogun Group. Yoichi begins by making the rice under Konishi's guidance, but things don't go as planned. Konishi treats Yoichi like a child and tries to do it on his own, but Yoichi himself is desperately trying to think of ways to improve the situation.
味将軍グループの毛利が仕掛けた回転寿司勝負を陽一と小西は受けて立つ。小西の指導でシャリを握ることから始めた陽一だが、思うように進まない。小西は一人で何とかしようとするが、陽一も必死に工夫を考えていた。
