Geleitet von Clefs Worten erreichen die Mädchen den Stillen Wald und finden ein festungsartiges Gebäude. Guided by Clef's words, the girls reach the Silent Forest and find a fortress-like edifice. They meet Presea, the owner of the castle, who confirms that only a Legendary Magic Knight could have gained entry. Presea has them choose their weapons, and instructs them that the weapons will appear only when needed. But they must bring them to Eterna Lake to pick up a mineral, Escudo, which will bring power to their machines. Before they leave the fortress, they are forced to use their wiles and their new gear to defeat a monster. Mokona, a friendly creature from the fortress, guides them to the Lake.
Portées par un animal invoqué par Clef, Hikaru, Umi et Fû arrivent dans la forêt du silence et y rencontrent Presea et Mokona. Mais, comme partout sur Cefiro, le chaos propage ses monstres et amène nos héroïnes à faire preuve d'astuce pour vaincre.
Luce, Marina e Anemone conoscono Presea, l'armaiola incaricata da Clef di forgiare le armi dei Cavalieri Magici. Presea spiega loro che per forgiare le armi ha bisogno di un minerale particolare, l'Escudo, e le indirizza presso la Fontana di Aeterna, l'unico luogo in cui è possibile trovarlo. Le ragazze dovranno attraversare la Foresta del Silenzio, dove non potranno usare la magia, e Presea presta loro delle armi e affida loro una strana creatura simile ad un coniglio, Mokona, che indicherà loro la strada.

Guiadas por las palabras de Clef, las chicas llegan al Bosque Silencioso y encuentran un edificio fortificado. Se encuentran con Presea, la dueña del castillo, quien confirma que solo una Legendaria Guerrera Mágica podría haber entrado. Presea les pide que elijan sus armas y les indica que las armas aparecerán solo cuando sea necesario. Pero deben llevarlas a Eterna Lake para recoger un mineral, Escudo, que traerá energía a sus máquinas. Antes de que abandonen la fortaleza, se ven obligados a usar sus artimañas y su nuevo equipo para vencer a un monstruo. Mokona, una amigable criatura de la fortaleza, las guía hacia el lago.
