Bedridden following his last battle with Calibur, Kento thinks back to when he first joined the Sword of Logos, wishing to find out why his father betrayed the order and attacked his fellow swordsman, something that not even Ryo Ogami can understand.
Sometime later, he learned from Rintaro that his old friend Touma Kamiyama was alive and had taken up the lost Kaenken Rekka. Shortly afterwards, he set about reuniting with Touma.
In the present, Kento regains consciousness to be greeted by Mei, who assured him that the other Swordsmen are his family, and offers him to take a picture with the camera Rintaro won before. Thanking her for doing so, Kento then asks for water, to which she obliges. But when she returns, Kento is gone, looking to save the new family he has found.
