Por. Austinové přijde v noci na stůl tajný fax. Ten, jak zjistí, jí nepatřil. O pár hodin později je těžce postřelena. Rabb, který má o Mag strach, dopátrá, že fax obsahoval itinerář Jelcinovy návštěvy v USA. Rabb společně s tajnou službou a mjr. Cranigovou se snaží zabránit atentátu.

Zwei Tage vorher dringt ein Attentäter in das Pentagon-Büro eines Royal-Navy-Commanders ein, holt sich aus dessen Computer Jelzins Reiseroute und schickt sie versehentlich an das Fax von Meg Austin. Due to the transposition of two digits of a phone number, Lt. Austin receives a fax with the itinerary for a person with the codename 'Shepherd'. Later, a Commander from the Royal Navy shows up demanding that paper. After receiving it he shoots Meg, seriouly wounding her. Trying to find out who this 'Shepherd' is and why this document is so important, they end up chasing an assassin named 'Hemlock' apparently working for Russian hardliners and trying to kill the man behind 'Shepherd' - Boris Yeltsin who is due in the US for a secret treaty signing. Egy rossz számra küldött fax Austinnál landol. Nemsokára egy brit haditengerészeti parancsnok érkezik a faxot követelve, és miután megkapja, rálő Megre. A papíron szereplő kódnévről kiderül, hogy Borisz Jelcint fedi, aki jelenleg egy tervezett gyilkosság célpontja.

A causa di un errore Meg riceve un fax contenente il percorso di una persona dal nome in codice 'Sheperd'. Poco dopo una persona, spacciandosi per Comandante della Royal Navy inglese, viene a reclamare il documento e, ricevutolo, spara a Meg, ferendola gravemente. L'intervento del Comandante Krennick mette in fuga l'assalitore e fa scattare le ricerche di Harm. Questi, mentre Meg viene portata d'urgenza in ospedale e lotta tra la vita e la morte, cerca di scoprire chi si nasconde dietro a 'Sheperd' e perchè fosse il fax così importante, risalendo ad un killer chiamato Hemlock. E viene a scoprire che si tratta di un assassino pagato dagli estremisti russi per uccidere 'Sheperd', che altri non è che Boris Eltsin, in visita segreta negli States per firmare un importante trattato di pace.

Por un error en los números, el Teniente Austin recibe un fax con un nombre en calve “Pastor”. Por ello, se empieza a sospechar que este nombre está detrás de una conspiración de asesinato. Aparece el nombre de un asesino denominado Hemlock, el cual, trabaja para Rusia y su objetivo es matar a Boris Yeltsin, que está apunto de firmar un Tratado secreto en EEUU.
