「クローバー」は、第三階層の階段入口までの到達を目指し、「無色の闇」へのセカンドアタックを開始する。第二階層の階段を降りたところ、なぜか現れたのは青空と広大な草原。そこにある一軒家を訪ねると、怪しげな老婆が出てきた。すると突如として日が沈み、姿を変えた老婆に動揺するユークたち。一時撤退を余儀なくされた「クローバー」は、全貌が見えない「無色の闇」の恐ろしさに触れていく。
