歌士官長補佐室で再会する一葉と白珠龍。白珠龍は「今だけは西王母ではなく白珠龍でいたい」と一葉の胸の中で涙を流し、一葉は「なんでお前が西王母なんだ」と悔しさを滲ませる……。そして、一葉は白珠龍から「山烏に借りていた書物を代わりに返してきてほしい」と頼まれ、山烏が囚われている牢獄に赴く。禁術の影響で変わり果てた姿の山烏は、黙秘を貫き通していたのだが、一葉と対話するうちに渾沌との出会いを話し始めて……。
