A mysterious caped man appears on the 999, who stops a fight between two men and later rescues Tetsuro from another man. The 999 arrives at the planet Heavy Melder where Maetel and Tetsuro split up. Tetsuro wanders to a bar where the bartender tells him of the Time Castle, which is supposedly ruled by Captain Harlock. Tetsuro also meets Leryuzu, a singer who is sister to Ryuzu (episodes 7&8), who tells him that Maetel has headed to the Time Castle.
Sur la planète Heavy Meldar. Une fois qu'ils auront traversé ici, ils quitteront la juridiction de l'Administration de la Terre et entreront sous la juridiction d'Andromède. Juste avant l'arrivée, ils rencontrent un homme portant une cape. Ils n'ont pas bien vu son visage mais il transporte un pistolet cosmique de soldat spatial dont seuls quatre existent dans l'univers. À leur arrivée, Maetel dit qu'elle doit s'occuper de certaines affaires et part. Sentant que c'était étrange, Tetsuro va la chercher et entre dans un établissement de boisson...
