Goku tells Jeice to take the beaten Recoome and Burter and leave the planet forever. Jeice flees to Captain Ginyu and tells him what has happened. Goku and Captain Ginyu fight, and after a while Captain Ginyu asks Goku to release his true power. Goku abides and begins to power up.

Goku dice a Gohan e Crilin di andarsene mentre lui e Vegeta si occuperanno degli ultimi due membri della Squadra Speciale. Vegeta, tuttavia, inganna Goku e scappa lasciandolo solo contro Jeeth e Ginew. Gokū oświadcza Jeice'owi, że musi zabrać martwego Recoome'a i Burtera, a następnie opuścić planetę na zawsze. Jeice udaje się do kapitana Ginyu i opowiada mu o tym, co zaszło. Kapitan najpierw nakazuje ludziom Freezy zakopanie smoczych kul, a potem w towarzystwie Jeice'a rusza przeciwko Gokū.
