園子に誘われ、不動産会社経営・高田健作のダンスパーティーに参加したコナンと蘭。会場には健作の妻・此乃美と有名人も多く参加していた。パーティー中、トラブルで席を立ったまま戻ってこない健作。此乃美の指示で健作をを探していたメイド・山里梨香は、崖下に転落した健作の遺体を発見する。挙動不審なパーティー参加者、残された不自然な足跡――これは被害者が足を踏み外した末の事故なのか？ それとも、殺害事件なのか？
Conan and Ran are invited by Sonoko to a dance party held by real estate company manager Takada Kensaku. Kensaku's wife Konomi and many other celebrities are also in attendance. During the party, Kensaku gets into trouble and leaves his seat, never to return. Yamazato Rika, a maid who was searching for Kensaku at Konomi's instructions, discovers Kensaku's body after he fell off a cliff. Party attendees behaving suspiciously, unnatural footprints left behind... Was this an accident caused by the victim losing his footing, or was it a murder?
