Auch Georg und Paul beteiligen sich an der Suche nach Patrasch. Niklaas entfernt sich von den übrigen, und am Ende findet Patrasch sein Herrchen halb ohnmächtig vor Schwäche. Mit letzter Kraft machen sich die beiden auf den Nachhauseweg.
George and Paul also join the search for Patrasche. Nello moves away from the others, and in the end Patrasche finds his master half fainting from weakness. With the last of their strength, the two make their way home.
Después de que Nicolás haya pasado una noche en vela, él y su abuelo buscan con empeño al ferretero y a Patrash en Amberes. No tienen suerte, aunque George y Paul también les ayudan. Nicolás persigue a Jehan para probar otros pueblos con él. Sin embargo, el viejo pronto está demasiado cansado para caminar más, así que Nicolás busca solo, decidido a ir al fin del mundo si es necesario.
