Space Pirate Captain Harlock [Franchise]

Space Pirate Captain Harlock (Japanese: 宇宙海賊キャプテンハーロック, Hepburn: Uchū Kaizoku Kyaputen Hārokku, also romanized as Space Pirate Captain Herlock) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Leiji Matsumoto. It was serialized in Akita Shoten's Play Comic from January 1977 to June 1979, with the chapters collected into five tankōbon volumes. The series follows the titular Captain, an outcast turned space pirate after he rebelled against Earth's Government and humanity's general apathy. Space Pirate Captain Harlock was adapted into an anime television series in 1978 directed by Rintaro and produced by Toei Animation. A computer-animated film adaptation of the same name was released in 2013.

Soul Eater (Japanese: ソウルイーター, Hepburn: Sōru Ītā) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Atsushi Ohkubo. Set at the "Death Weapon Meister Academy", the series revolves around three teams, each consisting of a weapon meister and at least one human that can transform into a weapon. Trying to make the latter a "death scythe" and thus fit for use by the academy's headmaster Shinigami, the personification of death, they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and one witch, in that order; otherwise, they will have to start all over again.

Akuma-Kun [Franchise]

Akuma-kun (悪魔くん, "Demon-kun") is a manga series written and illustrated by Shigeru Mizuki. Several versions of the manga exist, one of which was adapted into a live-action TV show, and another into an anime television series. In addition, two movies were spawned from the anime TV series: Akuma-kun: The Movie released in 1989 and Akuma-kun: Yōkoso Akuma Land e!! released in 1990. An original net anime series has been announced with Toei Animation and director Junichi Sato returning from the previous series. Sato will serve as the chief director with Fumitoshi Oizaki serving as the series director. Hiroshi Ōnogi will oversee the scripts. The series is set to be released worldwide on Netflix in Fall 2023.
