“Bad Boys” is a series of American action-comedy films created by George Gallo. It stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as two detectives in the Miami Police Department, Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. The franchise also inspired a TV series, “L.A.’s Finest” starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba.
Two hip detectives protect a witness to a murder while investigating a case of stolen heroin from the evidence storage room from their police precinct.
Eight years after the events of the first film, Miami Police Department (MPD) narcotics division detectives Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey are investigating the flow of MDMA into the city, leading them to a KKK meeting and drug drop. The subsequent raid is botched due to weak radio signals, and in the firefight wherein several Klan members are either killed or injured, Mike accidentally shoots Marcus in the buttocks. The MPD arrests the surviving Klan members, who are revealed to be mere small-time buyers and not ecstasy distributors.
Miami PD and its elite AMMO team attempt to take down Armando Armas, head of a drug cartel. Armando is a cold-blooded killer with a vicious, tainting nature. He is committed to the work of cartel and is dispatched by his mother to kill Mike.
