A collection of many Pixar shorts.
In a dark room, a large illuminated balanced-arm desk lamp named Luxo Sr. sees a small yellow ball with a blue stripe and a red star on the front rolling up to him. He eyes the ball curiously, and pushes it away, but the ball comes back to him. He pushes it away again. The ball comes back to him, but this time, it rolls past him. A smaller desk lamp, named Luxo Jr., hops over and continues playing with the ball. Luxo Jr. then balances himself on top of the ball, causing it to deflate. Luxo Jr. flips the deflated ball onto its side and looks up at Luxo Sr. who gently admonishes his son. Luxo Jr. then hops off-screen and is later seen playing with his beach ball. Luxo Sr. looks at the camera, then shakes his head in embarrassment.
Mike is obsessed with his new six-wheel drive car, and insists on showing it off to Sulley. Unfortunately for Mike, Murphy's law. Sulley plays with the adjustable power seat until an annoyed Mike asks him to stop. Mike starts the engine and hears the seatbelt reminder tone sound off.
The film features a sheep that lives in the American West. His elegant dancing is popular with the other animals. One day the sheep-shearers arrive and shear him for wool. Having lost his coat, the other animals laugh at the sheep and he becomes shy and loses the confidence to dance. It is whilst in his bare state that a benevolent jackalope comes across the little lamb and teaches him the merits of "bounding" rather than dancing (that is, getting up whenever you fall down).
The short film opens with Mater playing pranks on the other residents of Radiator Springs: moving Red's flowers, bursting out from a pile of tires to scare Guido and Luigi, dressing up as a cone vampire to scare Sally, attempting to scare Lizzie while she's sleeping (which is unsuccessful), moving Fillmore's gas cans back outside while he takes them in, and jumpscaring Lightning McQueen when he believes Mater is hiding behind a pile of cans ready to jump out (what was really behind the pile of cans is one of Mater's signs). This sequence culminates with Mater teasing McQueen as if he had seen "the Spooklight," a U.S. Route 66 legend recounted to Pixar by Dean Walker of the Route 66 association Kansas Historic Route 66 Association.
When an overconfident teen alien gets behind the controls of a spaceship, he must attempt to abduct a slumbering farmer under the watchful eye of a critical instructor.
This short film shows Rick Dicker, a government agent assigned to aid "supers" in maintaining their anonymity, interviewing Kari about the events that unfolded while she was babysitting the youngest member of the Parr family, Jack-Jack, during the events of ''The Incredibles''.
