Muppet Babies was a very successful cartoon series in its own right. This show basically featured Jim Henson's famous Muppets as babies. Each episode, each of the Muppet Babies had adventures that their imaginations take them on. Often however, their imaginations would sometimes get the better of them, all for comic effect. The featured Muppets were Baby Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Rowlf, Animal, Scooter, and a new character, Skeeter, Scooter's look-alike sister. Occasionally they had visits from Baby Bunsen and Beaker, and even Statler and Waldorf came to visit, and later we see a recurring appearance by a "baby" version of Bean Bunny from Tale of the Bunny Picnic. The moral glue that held these Muppets together was Nanny (voiced by Barbara Billingsley of Leave it to Beaver fame), a character whose body was only shown from the waist down and we all remember the green striped socks. The one thing that made the Muppet Babies memorable were not the Muppets themselves, but the
The Flintstone Kids was one of the many Flintstones spin-offs. It featured our main characters except as 10 year olds. Along with some new characters: Dreamchip, Philo, and Rocky Ratrock these mischevious kids got in many adventures. This show was great and one of the best cartoons of the 80's. Although it didn't match up to the original grown-up versions of The Flintstones it still carried on from 1986-1988. The series ended with a bang with the populated feature special in 1988 "The Flintstone Kids Just Say No". There were other segments that featured along with the show. One was called "Dino's Dilemma", and the other was called "Captain Caveman". Those two segments were featured after Flintstone Kids episodes were finished and eventually Captain Caveman became a spin-off. Basically all these things are what made The Flintstone Kids a great show and an excellent addition to The Flintstone

An attempt to revive the Archie show formula, this one takes place with the Riverdale residents as pre-teens. The New Archies was not disimilar to the Little Archie comics, in that it set the characters as children. However, Chuck Clayton (and his girl Nancy), and Moose's Midge, eliminated from previous shows, were not here either. Instead the new characters of Amani and Eugene were added to give the show a bit of racial diversity, Eugene replacing resident genius Dilton Doiley. The show actually ran for only one season, the following comprised merely of re-runs. It also inspired its own line of comic books, as well as a bit of merchandising, including restaurant promotions.
For more than a decade, it looked as if this would be the final weekly Scooby Doo series. Following the unsuccessful run of The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo, the creators went back to the drawing board and turned the original "Mystery Inc." characters into small children, who now worked under the title of "The Scooby Doo Detective Agency." Gone were the days of a pup named Scrappy-Doo, this series ushered in the age of a pup named Scooby-Doo! Although they would have been this age in the '50s or '60s, the kids were far more like kids of the '80s, with computers, skateboards, and gadgets that were popularized far later. As in the original series, the villains of this series were always bad guys in rubber masks, a concept that they had gotten away from when Scrappy entered the show and the ghosts became real. More cartoonish than the rest of the shows, the characters seemed to nod back to the old Warner Bros. cartoons -- complete with bugging eyes, gaping jaws, and a myriad of hijinks an

The show was all about the adventures of the children of the characters of the movie. After 26 episodes and a few direct-to-video movies, "Oz Kids" disappeared over the rainbow.
