After bidding farewell to the peacock, the Iron Triangle of Mojin, full of determination, headed straight for Zhelong Mountain. Passing through the forest behind the village, the trio divided their tasks—cutting bamboo and building a raft. Once they were all geared up in protective equipment, they boarded the raft one by one, setting up lights at the front for visibility. Thus began their waterborne journey, codenamed "Operation Butterfly."
