Die zweite Aufgabe, dreht sich um Licht, Schatten und einen unzerstörbaren Stein. Aufgrund des geschwächten Zustandes von Yugi, machen sich Joey und Tristan auf den Weg und treffen in einem Tal auf ein mächtiges Glaswesen. Die zwei Freunde können das Glaswesen und den Stein zerstören. Daraufhin taucht ein noch mächtigeres Wesen auf.
The group arrives on an island floating above the clouds. Yugi faints from the strain the armor put on the Pharaoh. A new message arrives and Grandpa deciphers it. "The Trial of Light and Shadows: Once a day, the unbrekable stone appears in the Valley of Light. To break fight with a force greater than physical might." Deciding to give Yugi a break from saving them, Joey, Tristen and Grandpa head out to complete the challenge alone. They find the stone, but soon have to fight Prisman to break it; Tristen sees the energy blasts the monster lets out damage the rock, so he irritates Prisman to get it to start cracking it. Yugi awakens, and Tea gives him the message; switching to the Pharaoh, they disover it's only have the message once they read it in the dark. Prisman is successfully destroyed once it breaks the rock, but Skull Guardian takes its place. The Pharaoh merges with Dark Magicion once more, only subdoing the monster; the second half of the message said they needed to only defeat the monster, not kill it, thus proving themselves peaceful. The masked man arrives and reveals that if they fail the five trials, they will be stuck there until another challenger arrives; if the Pharaoh succeeds, he will be given the power he's worthy of.
Après avoir échappé de peu à leur bataille dans le désert, le gang se retrouve bloqué sur une mystérieuse île flottante. Ici, ils doivent affronter un monstre qui tire sa force du soleil lui-même ! Mais cette créature de lumière travaille-t-elle seule !?
El grupo llega a una isla que flota sobre las nubes. Yugi se desmaya por la tensión que la armadura puso en el faraón. Llega un nuevo mensaje y el abuelo lo descifra. "La Prueba de la Luz y las Sombras: Una vez al día, aparece la piedra que no se puede quebrar en el Valle de la Luz. Para romper la lucha con una fuerza mayor que la fuerza física". Decidiendo darle a Yugi un descanso de salvarlos, Joey, Tristen y el abuelo salen para completar el desafío solo. Encuentran la piedra, pero pronto tienen que luchar contra Prisman para romperla; Tristen ve las explosiones de energía que el monstruo deja dañar la roca, por lo que irrita a Prisman para que comience a agrietarla. Yugi se despierta, y Tea le da el mensaje; cambiando al Faraón, desaparecen, solo tienen el mensaje una vez que lo leen en la oscuridad. Prisman se destruye con éxito una vez que rompe la roca, pero Skull Guardian toma su lugar. El Faraón se fusiona con Dark Magicion una vez más, solo sustituyendo al monstruo; la segunda mitad del mensaje dijo que solo necesitaban derrotar al monstruo, no matarlo, y así demostrarse pacíficos. El hombre enmascarado llega y revela que si fallan las cinco pruebas, permanecerán atrapados allí hasta que llegue otro retador; si el faraón tiene éxito, se le dará el poder que merece
وصلت المجموعة إلى جزيرة تطفو فوق السحاب. يوغي يغمى عليه من تعب الدرع التي وضعها الفرعون. تاتي رسالة جديدة ويفككها الجد. "تجربة الضوء والظلال: مرة واحدة في اليوم، يظهر الحجر الذي لا يمكن كسره في وادي النور. لكسر القتال بقوة أكبر من القوة الجسدية." قرر كل من جوي وتريستن والجد إعطاء استراحة ليوغي، واكمال التحدي بمفردهم.
