날 밝자마자 광주를 떠나기로 한 희태와 명희는 간밤에 계엄이 확대된 사실을 꿈에도 모른 채 각자 떠나기 전에 할 일을 마치고 터미널에서 다시 만나기로 한다.
흩어진 두 사람은 각자의 자리에서 심상치 않은 시내 분위기를 감지하는데…
Myeong Hee and Hee Tae decide to leave Gwangju as soon as the day breaks. However, as they go about the city and prepare to leave, they realize that things are much different from normal. With injured civilians flooding into the hospital, Myeong Hee refuses to leave her patients. Hee Tae begrudgingly stays to help, despite his bad hunch.
De la noche a la mañana, la violencia se apodera de Gwangju y no paran de llegar victimas al hospital. Hui-tae y Myeong-hui aplazan sus planes para poder ayudar.
Gwangju est brusquement en proie à la violence et les victimes affluent à l'hôpital. Hui-tae et Myeong-hui remettent leurs projets à plus tard pour apporter leur aide.
