Dan the panda wants to sing, but for a big bear he has a high, squeaky voice and when he sings it is not very tuneful. Wissper asks Otis the oxpecker and Gertie the giraffe for help. As they can't change Dan's voice, they teach him to harmonise and make the best use of his panda voice.
Dan möchte gerne mit den Affen singen. Aber seine sonst so kräftige Stimme hört sich quietschig an, sobald er zu singen versucht. Wissper ruft Otis, den Vogel, um mit Dan das Singen zu üben. Auch Otis ist hilflos, als er Dans Gesangsversuche hört. Da hat Wissper eine Idee: Dan soll nur die hohen Töne singen und alle anderen die tiefen. Und schon klingt der Bambus-Balu-Balu-Song harmonisch durch den Regenwald.
Dan le panda surprend Wissper avec une demande pour le moins inattendue : il veut chanter ! Malgré sa taille imposante, Dan a une voix relativement aiguë. En plus, il ne chante pas tout à fait juste !
