Between a Rock and a Hard Place

Sam organisiert eine Collegeveranstaltung und sucht dringend noch eine Rockband. Tony rühmt sich seiner Kontakte zur Musikbranche und macht einen Termin mit seinem alten Freund Steve Muler aus, angeblich einem Spitzenpromoter. Der engagiert per Handschlag die berühmten Wilson Phillips für Sam. Leider merken weder sie noch ihr Vater, dass sie einem Schwindler aufgesessen sind. Als die Sache auffliegt, ist Sam stocksauer auf Tony. Angela knüpft sich die junge Dame vor und macht ihr klar, dass auch Väter nur Menschen und nicht unfehlbar sind.

Sam promotes a concert in college. But she can't find a band for the evening's highlight. Tony informs her that he has the actions to provide a star. But the friend he relied on is just a braggart who's working as errand-boy in a studio.
