Doch Gebrauchtwagen-Profi Mike Brewer hat in dieser Episode in Kalifornien Glück gehabt und eine C2 für umgerechnet 23 000 Euro ergattert. Dass der Wagen bei diesem Spottpreis nicht ohne Macken daherkommt, versteht sich von selbst. Die Trommelbremsen der Corvette erweisen sich in der Werkstatt als größtes Problem. Doch gerade die sind bei einem Fahrzeug mit starkem Motor und leichter Karosserie enorm wichtig.
