    UTVUnderground.com and Mad Media tapped our friend, championship UTV and Pro-Lite racer RJ Anderson to pilot our 2014 Polaris RZR XP1K machines, and together we put down a dream list of stunts and tricks that we could stich together into a single, over-the-top video.

  • SPECIAL 0x3 XP1K GoPro Remix

    • August 28, 2013

    The second video clip in the XP1K campaign "UTVUnderground Presents: RJ Anderson XP1K GoPro Remix" was released on August 28th -- and is made up completely of shocking and violent GoPro Hero 3 point of view footage shot exclusively during the filming of XP1K. Cut to an aggressive dubstep soundtrack -- this over-the-top four-minute visual assault features all of the best GoPro video footage captured during filming, as well as some funny and sketchy shots that were left out of the original XP1K video.

    The third video clip in the XP1K campaign "UTVUnderground Presents: RJ Anderson XP1K Remix" was released on November 4th -- and features a barrage of never-before-seen footage shot exclusively during the filming of XP1K. Cut to an aggressive track called "Conspiracy Of Silence" by The Milton Incident, this intense six-minute visual assault features all of the best footage captured during filming, as well as some alternate takes that were left out of the original XP1K video.

    “XP1K2” is a seven-minute onslaught of intense off-road road action, set in a massive 600-acre forest near Mt. Baker, Washington. The video stars Off-Road Racing Champion RJ Anderson, driving a custom Holz Racing built Polaris RZR XP 1000 Side-by-Side (SxS), complete with a Polaris ProStar® 1000 Muzzys Performance engine and custom Walker Evans Racing shocks. The “XP1K2” crew, including Tony Vanillo and his team of dirt and ramp engineers at the Off-Road Management Group, transformed the remote wooded location into a stunning array of creative obstacles, which included more than 20 natural terrain and man-made works of (terrifying) art. Spoiler alert – RJ Anderson reclaims the world record for a distance jump in a SxS – and does so by clearing a death-defying 100-foot gap!

The Martelli Brothers (Matt and Joshua Martelli) hand selected and edited this rare footage to an over-the-top industrial soundtrack by Paul Oakenfold and XZIBIT.

    “XP1K3” is five-minute full throttle, turbo powerd, mind bending, off-road thrill ride through the most unforgivable obstacles imaginable. RJ Anderson fearlessly attacks massive jumps, high speed drifts, and treacherous man-made terrain in his custom 200 horsepower Polaris RZR XP Turbo. XP1K3 was produced by motorsports production powerhouse Mad Media in the post apocalyptic dystopian decay of abandoned steel mills, old factories, and train yards...and features an array of massive obstacles spread out over six locations in Youngstown, Ohio. Shot in stunning 4K resolution!

    The foundation of the XP1K franchise is and always will be the Polaris RZR platform and because of that we always like to give you an inside look into the building of these one of a kind XP1K machines. Keeping RJ safe is always priority #1 when building these machines, next is the cool factor and that means looks, horsepower and performance. All of which makes this RZR the ultimate off-road machine! More than a year of planning went into the development and execution of the “XP1K3” campaign. It took the build team of 15, more than a month to weld, stack, cut, bend and fabricate the custom playground with multiple obstacles. The Mad Media crew of 40 then spent 14 days on location battling dust, rust, rain, mud and fog to capture each of their incredible imagined obstacles.

    This time around, RJ Anderson lays down a massive barrage of gravity defying stunts in his highly modified 2017 Polaris RZR XP® Turbo EPS UTV. RJ fearlessly attacks massive jumps, whoops, high speed drifts, and treacherous rocky terrain. XP1K4 was shot in the stunning Southern California mountains east of San Diego as homage to the birthplace freestyle motocross. Tony Vanillo and his team of dirt and ramp engineers at Off-Road Management Group brought the insane obstacle course to life including the updated version of the treacherous “Wall of Death” and a massive ramp to dirt backflip.
