The US Airborne in World War II

(b/w) Even after the missions in Normandy and the Netherlands, the U.S. fought Airborne at the forefront with. In December 1944, 12,000 men went to the Battle of Bastogne and were encircled there. Then we went to southern Germany and back to the French Mourmelon, where we trained for a possible jump over Berlin.
