アンリの故郷で新型レールガン『メガショット』の演習が実施される。そこでアンリは幼馴染のミズホと思いがけぬ再会を果たす。
メガショットの設置工事で祠が撤去されたことにより、地元に伝わる守り神・ドルゴが目覚めてしまうと言って演習中止を訴えるミズホだが、アンリはそれを受け入れることができない。
そうして無情にも演習が開始されてしまう。
Practice runs for the new railgun, Mega Shot, is conducted in Anri's hometown. That's where Anri has an unexpected reunion with her childhood friend, Mizuho. Mizuho begs for them to cancel the practice runs. She insists that the removal of the shrine for the installation of the Mega Shot will awaken Dorgo, the local guardian god, but Anri finds it hard to believe.
