홈을 나와 떠돌다가 다시 돌아온 밧슈 앞에는 인간이 욕심껏 플랜트를 이용하다가 버리는 것에 분노한 나이브스가 있었다. 나이브스는 밧슈에게 함께 플랜트를 위한 세상을 만들자며 말하지만, 밧슈는 거절한다. 그리고 150년이 지난 현재, 샌드 스팀을 멈추고 보육원을 지켜낸 밧슈는 홈에서 눈을 뜬다. 모래 폭풍에 위장하여 숨은 홈에서 브래드, 루이더와 재회한다. 루이더는 모두에게 플랜트의 부담을 덜어줄 수 있는 방법으로 식물을 키워내며 이 별에서 식물을 키워낼 수 있기를 바란다. 그러는 중에 메릴과 로베르토가 저지에게 납치당한다.
