Shortly after the appearance of Kondou Isami's beloved sword Nagasone Kotetsu, an order is issued to sortie at Ikedaya. The team members selected include swords related to the Shinsengumi, along with Sakamoto Ryouma's beloved sword, Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki. As the captain, Yamatonokami Yasusada wants to take revenge for what happened at the last Ikedaya battle and vows to annihilate the History Retrograde Army forces.
新撰組 近藤勇の愛刀『長曽祢虎徹』が顕現して間もなく、池田屋へ出陣の命が出る。出陣部隊には新撰組に縁のある刀と、坂本龍馬の愛刀、陸奥守吉行が選ばれる。隊長の大和守安定は、かつての池田屋戦の雪辱を果たすため、時間遡行軍の殲滅を誓う。
