Jerry decides to move out of the country, and into the big city. He writes a note for Tom, telling him about his departure. He arrives in the city to have bad luck everywhere. He is chased by traffic, chased by cats, hit with different things, and is shot at by the police. Jerry knows that the city is just not for him. He goes back to the country, and tears the note he wrote for Tom to shreds. It's good to be home.
Jerry décide de quitter le pays et de s’installer dans la grande ville. Il écrit une note pour Tom, lui annonçant son départ. Il arrive en ville pour avoir de la malchance partout. Il est poursuivi par la circulation, poursuivi par des chats, frappé avec différentes choses, et est abattu par la police. Jerry sait que la ville n’est tout simplement pas pour lui. Il retourne à la campagne et déchire en lambeaux la note qu’il a écrite pour Tom. C’est bon d’être à la maison.
Jerry se rozhodne že pro něj bude rozumnější odstěhovat se z venkova do víru velkoměsta. Záhy ale tvrdě narazí. Všude se tu totiž potulují kocouři, kterým by určitě moc chutnal, a tak se rozhodne vrátit.

杰瑞趁汤姆睡觉的时候写了一封告别的信塞到他的爪子下面，就出发去了纽约。来到大都市的杰瑞看什么都觉得很新奇。杰瑞在纽约到处游荡，险些坠楼。后来不慎掉入了一个布满野猫的后巷。还冲进了珠宝店被警察追捕。最后杰瑞逃出危机四伏的大城市回到了汤姆身边。
Musen Jerry tröttnar på det lantliga livet och bestämmer sig för att flytta till den stora staden. Dock blir denna upplevelse inte riktig som han hade tänkt sig när han börjar sakna sin gamle retkompis Tom.
