In the fourth episode we meet Tito during wartime after the pronouncements of the outbreak in 1941 to the beginning of 1942. We are following egregious action releasing prisoners from Kerestinec prison, the case 'Kupinić', apropos Tito's independence from unconditional obediance to Comintern. The time of famine and extreme poverty accompanies, that follows recruitment of consideration and power inside the partisan's movement. In the occupied State cames into existence the first free territory – Republic of Užice, with lot's of mistakes and misses in organizing partisan's battle. Tito leads unsuccessful negotiations with Chetnik's leader Draža Mihajlović on collectively juxtaposition to the occupant. At the end of the January, 1942 Tito got the second great military battle – that was a storied 'Igmanski marš' (Igman's March), which concurrently brought a huge human victims.
U četvrtoj epizodi dokumentarne serije Tito - Posljednji svjedoci testamenta Lordana Zafranovića, koja nosi naslov "Ustanak", susrećemo Tita u ratnim situacijama nakon proglašenja ustanka 1941., do početka 1942. godine. Pratimo bezumnu akciju oslobađanja zatvorenika iz zatvora Kerestinec, slučaj Kopinić, Titovo osamostaljivanje od bezuvjetnog posluha Kominterni. Vrijeme gladi i velike neimaštine prati jačanje ugleda i snage partizanskog pokreta, stvara se Užička republika, događaju se pogreške i promašaji u organiziranju partizanske borbe. Tito vodi neuspjele pregovore s Dražom Mihajlovićem. Koncem siječnja 1942. Tito ostvaruje drugu veliku vojnu pobjedu - bio je to legendarni Igmanski marš, koji je istodobno bio golemo ljudsko stradanje i drama.
